Monchito

Fui con mis amigos y comimos todo tipo de tacos y nachos. ¡Todo estaba súper sabroso, la gente era muy amable y nos lo pasamos genial!

Fuimos con mi pareja y el restaurante se encuentra abierto. Ordenamos unos tacos que están fabulosos, además tienen unas bebidas fantásticas. La atención es súper te hacen sentir en confianza. Quede encantada con la variedad y además comida completamemte Vegana

Comida riquísima y a muy buen precio. Perfecto sitio vegano! Hemos cenado por menos de 20€/persona, cosa que cuesta encontrar. La atención ha sido perfecta. Nos ha encantado el taco de coliflor - estilo baja california (el de abajo), aunque el chicharron pig friendly (arriba en la foto) buenísimo también. Hemos pedido unos nachos, super completos y la ración enorme (perfecta para 3-4).

¡Este lugar es INCREÍBLE! Me encantó la comida, muy sabrosa, divertida, deliciosa, con un servicio increíble y excelentes margaritas en una hermosa calle del centro histórico de Barcelona. No puedo esperar a volver otra vez.

Mi pareja es mexicana, no vegana y la ha encantado! La salsa roja ufff qué rica pica pero rico.
Recomendamos chicharrón pig friendly, bistec estilo Michoacán y pastor.
La michelada levanta muertos riquísima también.

¡Increíble! No sabía que este era un lugar de tacos vegetarianos (me encanta la carne), ¡pero maldita sea, estos tacos estaban buenos! ¡Uno de los mejores de mi vida! ¡Pruébalo de verdad!

Probamos los tacos de chicharrón y de pastor, y quesadillas de chorizo, y todo estaba delicioso! Mi favorito las quesadillas, deseando volver y probar más de la carta.

Lugar pequeño pero acogedor, comida buenísima, la primera taquería donde la salsa picante pica de verdad, los dos chicos encantadores

Super friendly staff and the tacos were AMAZING! Can recommend:) even though there was some waiting time, we were given some free nachos which was super lovely and considerate!

Tacos were amazing, but you should get more than 3 per person, they're pretty small. My girlfriend loves the nachos, I thought they were ok.

We arrived at the place, and there was no waiting list. The guy (bearded guy) told us to wait outside, which is fine. What is not fine is that he let two groups who came after us and were waiting in the line; before us without any explanation. When we asked, he said it is what it is.

Thankfully Barcelona is filled with other much better options that actually respect clients.

Monchito is a fully vegan and authentic taqueria.

The homemade tacos are packed with flavour, the toppings of minced "meat", guacamole and beans has a stunning flavour.

The tacos are incredible, we had the pastor monchito, which is a taco with soy mince. Very delicious and standard taco, but super flavourful! The California taco with crispy cauliflower surprised us a lot, it was super delicious, crunchy and fresh.

The agua loca was really tasty. It had a special spicyness to it, but very mild and balanced.

The waitress was very friendly and treated us really good! The only weird thing was the music, which I don't think quite fit the atmosphere.

Will definitely come again!

Se come muy rico. Recomiendo pedir los nachos como plato entrante y las quesadillas también que están exquisitas. Sin dudas volveré a este lugar.

We had a dinner with nachos as starters and a tacos each as main. Everything was very tasty and vegan. We drank a beer and a michelada that we found horrible but it was the first time for us, many people love it. Total bill for 2 People was 37.4€ and i think it was appropriate.

Our first night in Barcelona. Amazing food. All vegan and ALL excellent! We will be going back

A lot of amazing choices of different vegan tacos. The variety and the taste are great. My favorite were the tofu tacos. Freshly prepared and perfectly spiced. Tried 5 different ones cause we couldn’t get enough. Service is quick and friendly!

Una grata sorpresa! Los tacos no tenían nada que envidiar a los no-veganos. El camarero fue muy simpático y nos sirvió unas no heladas tremendas.

Cute taqueria serving 100% vegan food! A really nice menu with good options. The nachos are very good, and the Baja California tacos! Definitely worth a visit, great service too. It's quite small so worth booking in advance.

Tout petit lieu donc aux heures de pointe peu de chance d’avoir de la place. Nous avons pris à emporter et n’avons pas attendu trop longtemps. Belle diversité de choix de tacos, texture de la tortilla niquel et garnitures réconfortantes!

This place does indeed serve excellent vegan tacos. The only downside: there is usually no place to sit and you have to wait super long times to get your food. They don't seem very organised.

La comida estaba de LOCOS. Las raciones de los tacos medianas, así que es recomendable pedirse unos nachos que estan BUENÍSIMOS. La persona que nos atendió muy majo y el cocinero también, se nota que les gusta lo que hacen.

No tienen Cocacola ni Pepsi, pero mejor, basta de darles dineros a las compañías gigantes y optemos por el pequeño comercio. Tienen unas botellitas que se llaman Jarritos que están muy buenossss!

J'ai bien aimé l'ambiance et l'accueil chaleureux.
La salle est très petite et se rempli vite aux heures de pointe.

The quesadillas were delicious and it came super fast. The place is very small so it’s probably good to come early. I wouldn’t come a second time though.

DELICIOSO! My only qualm is that the place is too small for how delicious the food is. There were so many people who had to wait a while for a table to free up (and some of them waited a long time, which speaks to how good the food is) and some who moved on and didn’t have the pleasure of trying the food because the restaurant was so full.

The Baja California tacos were by far the best and were absolutely exquisite. The nachos were also delicious. I got a michelada (my first one) and while it wasn’t my favorite, I could tell it was incredibly high quality and that someone who enjoys spicier drinks would have loved it.

Super delicious vegan Mexican Food (mainly Tacos but also different kinds of starters and Quesadillas). We really liked the concept, the food tastes great, the staff is very friendly and it's nice to eat at a place that is conscious about its environment. 5/5, can definitely recommend!

Send someone in there without knowing it's vegan and I bet they won't notice! The food is amazing, the service is very authentic and you will have a good time there!

Comida mexicana vegana. El Monchito vegan abrió hace poco en Barcelona, es 100% vegano y está riquísimo! Recomendamos partir por los nachos y después pedir tacos con tofu y otros con champiñones. Y si les gusta la michelada, ya saben.

Buenasos los tacos veganos! Super recomendado este pequeño restaurante. Además sirven cervezas micheladas y con una salsa estilo Bloody Mary (Calamato creo se llamaba). Eso sí, el lugar es bien chico, pero muy acogedor y las personas que atienden muy amables.

Just fricken go. Some of the best nachos and tacos you’ll ever have. Vegan food taken to another level, with perfect margaritas and flavors that make you love this hole in the wall and want to come back every day.

Will def come back, the nachos were to die for! Huge portion, delicious cheese and sauces!

Absolutely delicious food, with very generous portions at honest prices. Special mention for the nachos, totally decadent with all the toppings. The real deal.
On top of that, the owner, Lalo, is a passionate and friendly dude. Highly recommend!
