Murmuri Residence Concepció

Location perfect, apartment clean, classy and well appointed, check in at a building 4min walk away but they accompanied us up to penthouse and showed us around. I seen some negative reviews but I needn’t have worried- I 100% would return:)

I made reservations in Murmuri Mercader in March 2022, where I stayed 3 yrs ago, which was not respected. Instead assigned to this terrible filthy appt. Smelled cigar, unventilated, dirty stained rugs ad curtains, mold all over the bathroom, broken night desk lamps, broken wood floor in terrace, etc. The worst in my life. Dirty, no maintenance, EXPENSIVE. Service awfulI arguing till last moment that my reservation was not their responsability, just mine. No intention of solving this problem, relocating. I travel a lot with high standards with much experience in Hospitality. I would of run away, but finding hotel for 10 nights in Barcelona was almost impossible. This “Residences” belong to “MAJESTIC group” owner of various hotels, one of which is “ Majestic Hotel” they say, a 5 star hotel in Barcelona. They could of tried to relocate us, but the answer was “ that’s not possible because it’s a luxury hotel” although we were payind 403 Euros a night.
One more thing, they never told us cleaning service was not included: you have to pay (no sheets nor towels changed if you don’t pay)
