Playhouse owns a lovely backyard and makes plenty of visits outdoors as well which is super innovative and important for kids!
As a volunteer trainee through Erasmus+ program i enjoyed every single moment with everyone! I had a unique experience and I learned a lot with the help of Sarah.

Playhouse is a really nice and well organized place for kids. The teachers are also very kind and focused to them. They always listen and understand the needs of every single kid. It was a pleasure to be a part of this team. I learnt a lot from this place. Continue the good work, sending love from Greece ️

Our child is almost four and the Playhouse is her second home. We are struggling to find a school for the future academical years with the same values, the same child oriented environment and the same sensibility concerning our child. We are so happy we found this place and we will miss it a lot! Thanks Sarah and all the teachers!

We are very lucky and grateful to have our 20 months old daughter going to Playhouse.
Before choosing the right place we visited many “English” speaking daycares in central Barcelona and nothing could compare to the warmth we felt at Playhouse. The staff is so caring and attentive to our daughter’s needs. The communication between adults and children is always cordial and loving. To see our child so happy, dancing, playing, counting and absolutely loving her teachers and friends means the world. Our highest recommendation to Playhouse.

My daughter has been going to The Playhouse for two years at the Center on Calle Rizal and we couldn’t be happier with the care they provide. The teachers absolutely love the children and they are encouraged to explore, play and develop as an individual.

We chose it initially for the low child to teacher ratio- which is almost impossible to find in Barcelona, but quickly discovered that they have so many other benefits. The setting is amazing, they have a wonderful garden where the children play outdoors each day, they have varied topics and activities which the children can choose to take part in or not and they have a strong focus on books and stories each day which my daughter adores. Children can stay at the playhouse past 3years old which was also important for us.and we expect our daughter to be almost 5 when she leaves.

There is a lovely community feel, with many international families. Our daughter is an English speaker, however I am always so impressed by the level of English from the children who only speak it at the playhouse- it’s clearly down to their great supportive/immersive approach.

They have been truly wonderful for our whole family and during the national lockdown here in Barcelona they also gave us much needed/appreciated daily contact, calls, activities and support.

We are looking forward to our second daughter joining later in the year and we couldn’t recommend The Playhouse more!

This is an amazing place. I even couldn’t imagine that we will found that much love and support for our son. There are incredible space, people, and the founder, who is the heart of this unbelievable place. You could be sure that your baby in a safe place with attention and love. This place is an absolute gem and I feel so lucky to have found it! My daughter started here when she was 21 months. When she started, we had never been away from each other, and while we both fell in love with The Playhouse from our first time there, we were both nervous about how to navigate the big transition. Thanks to the amazing, loving, caring, knowledgeable, and trustworthy teachers, the transition was smooth and both of us felt happy and excited about this new experience. My daughter has been there now almost 6 months, and loves it more and more. The little group of kids have all turned into best friends who are genuinely kind and loving to each other. Everyday the teachers send pictures to our WhatsApp group and my daughter and I look through the pictures together and talk about them. She squeals with excitement going through the pictures and recalling how much fun she had. They do sensory play, singing, dancing, building, dress-up, painting, and on and on, they even go on outdoor excursions. They learn to be healthy eaters, to recycle, to share, to be be patient and kind with their friends and themselves. All the while I don’t worry about her because I know she’s in good hands. My daughter will definitely be back next school year! I could not recommend this place more!

My daughter attended the Playhouse for more than 2 years. Teachers are very attentive, caring and empathetic. It's a place where children feel accepted, seen and have a chance to grow - a truly amazing preschool. Sarah the owner is very professional and takes good care of the communication and relations with parents. After those 2 years Playhouse became a big part of our family. Thank you again and we miss you a lot!

I used to work here an it is an absolutely fantastic place. The teachers are so professional and kind. They really love their job and they take care of the kids as if they were their own. I would recommend this place for everyone. Especially families with kids from another country, who want their kids to speak fluent English.
