Premier Tax Free

I was at the barcelona airport for the tax refund and each person in queue takes 15mins (4 people in queue but due to poor logistics they let a person cut in front of me) and when asked if there was a box to do the mailing or if possible any other means besides waiting they said it was not possible. Waited an hour and was unable to get any tax refund and the staff is of no help unfortunately. Strange as they have a credit card sign for mailing.

At their airport drop off location I had to wait over an hour. Up to five people in the booth and only two working. They don't do credit card refunds, they refused over and over to give me euros. They would only give me USD at a 10% fee.

Bad experience at Global Exchange. Making further triple lost firstly exchange to home currency and secondly when they don’t have exact change of your home currency asking you to pay change in Euro at their rate (that is third)

Please give in EURO REFUND. Please stop using your SOP that you have to pay back currency based on our passport.

Lastly I may not patronise any merchant that is using PLANET TAX SERVICE!

If there was negative stars. I would put negative. Instead of getting back my tax refund of €35.50, I ended up paying additional €78 in tax. Can someone advise where I can make a complaint to the authorities of Barcelona?

Pésimo. Use el servicio de devolución del IVA en Barajas por una compra en Desigual. Presente una compra de 34,98 euros, me reintegraban 3,67 euros y me dijeron que por montos menores a 40 euros no devuelven en el aeropuerto.
Ni en efectivo, ni a una tarjeta española. Que tenía que enviar por correo con número de tarjeta y esperar la devolución. Nada que ver con Global Blue

Attempted to obtain my tax refund as cash. It was only for €7, but I thought I would try as there was no line. The lady assisting me stated that I had to do it at the airport as the minimum was for €150. €150 spent? Or minimum €150 tax refund? Likely minimum €150 spent as I had been there before for a cash refund. Maybe it was not worth her time for her 5% commission. I don’t know. In the end, I shopped even more and have accumulated more refunds. I’ll just deal with it at the airport. First world problems.

I recomend you to do tax free by your own for getting 21% refund back (pls check information in the internet) Don't use premier tax free service because 1) they only give you 8%~15% refund back and they also charge you at least 2 euros administration fee for every tax free invoice 2) if you get cash refund in the city you need to use one credit card as deposit. When you leave EU you have to send back all your invoices with customs' stamp, if for any reason or they say that they haven't receive them, they just charge your MORE money to your credit card then they have given to you as punishment.

Fue a la terminal t1 del aeropuerto de Barcelona y me miraron despectivamente porque quise cobrar 10 euros, me dijeron que mande el sobre por correo desde mi país.esa es la forma en al que hacen que los extranjeros caigan en la trampa del TAX free.en la cola se escuchaban quejas porque le buscan el tecnicismo para no pagar. No pierdan el tiempo.

Bad attitude. Refused to speak English and kept chatting with colleague instead of focusing on customer service. Ransom service fee on cash refund. No merchant should use premier tax as their refund partner period!

Estafadores! Me cobraron en el cupo de mi tarjeta el impuesto que me habian devuelto cuando hice el tramite de devoluicion!

Horrível! Eles cobram uma taxa de conveniência, mas ao chegar no aeroporto vc tem que pegar a mesma fila de 1hora para postar o envelope sem ganhar nada de tempo e perdendo o seu tempo em barcelona.

I just cant believe why premier does not have a normal tax refund office in the airport terminal like global blue. Instead, they allows exchange shops handle the tax refunds, which in turn they only offers all currencies except euros and charge very high commission. This is super annoying! Here I would suggest everybody to get tax refund by credit card for this company to avoid high commission!

Really bad place, the official website said this point close at 21: 00, however when we come at 20: 50, the lady said they close at 20: 00, it's wrong information. Later on, when we find the website and show them on the phone, they said ok but it's all really 21: 10 now. It's really tricky, they just closed the system very early before so they can finish their work early. However, at least they should do their work when it is working time.

The location of this place is inside the FNAC lobby (next to the cafe). Quick service to get your tax refunds in cash but be prepared for a queue.
