My fiancé and I stayed here for 5 nights and we had a very pleasant stay. Convenient location, nice view from our room, very kind staff, and comfy beds. Only two complaints: the alarm kept going off in the room next to us nearly every morning at 3/4am, we assume because the person was smoking in the room. Not the hotel’s fault though. Second complaint is that the breakfast was not so impressive/coffee not drinkable at all!
Very good location. But that’s all I can say good about this hotel. We booked a room for 4 people. We received a room with 5 beds, a window to the back yard (horrible view, very dirty), everything basic and not very clean. Even if 5 people were supposed to stay in that room, there were only one charging socket close to one bed, another one for the fridge and another one for the TV. So it was impossible for us to charge our phones in the same time, taking in consideration that we were in the room only for a small period of time.
The worst thing was that in the room it was very cold! We let the receptionist know about this problem and he sent someone to check. After the person checked and realised that the problem can not be solved (the AC was not working) they tried to make us believe that the problem will be solved next morning. I mean, we were supposed to sleep in a cold room without any compensations. We went at the reception and we asked for a different room, even one for 2 people, not 4, but all we wanted was a room in which we were not freezing… They said it is not possible to change the room because the hotel was fully booked. The receptionist was very rude, he did not find any solution for us. So we slept in a cold room. For 3 nights. It would have been better to sleep outside.
The only nice person from reception was Marco, who was very kind and he came to our room to bring us more blankets (yes, we had to use 3 blankets or more and it was still cold).
Also Marco brought us some food in the room because we were leaving early in the morning and the restaurant was not open.
The breakfast was basic, nothing special or delicious.
The only good thing was the location, as we were close to everything.
I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to anyone and I will not come back here:)
Dovessi tornare a Barcellona prenoterei ancora qua.
- The rooms were VERY noisy (Flamencoshow next to the Hotel till midnight), the room wasn't clean (blankets and towels), breakfest was okay but nothing great.
Excellent location. Friendly staff and very good housekeeping. Breakfast area is small and the service is modest so to speak. Rooms have been evidently tarted up and bathrooms are comfortable. Warning: There are some rooms without a view. They have a window that opens to a narrow shaft instead. Make sure you're not booking one of those.
Really lovely location right at the Rambla! Breakfast was good with freshly pressed orange juice and a medium selection of breakfast possibilities. The rooms were nice and big, but were are bit old and could use some car - nothing to the downside though! Only minus for the rooms were the kinda used and pressed out beds. They were not bad, but you could definitely feel they were a couple of years old.
Maravilhosa, nota 1000. O hotel satisfez as minhas expectativas.
