La infame "leyenda" del ciclismo local, Lance Armstrong, escribió un libro titulado "Se trata de la bicicleta". Después de una estadía excepcional de 2 semanas en el ciclismo de Rocacobra, diría convincentemente que se trata de la belleza de la naturaleza que lo envuelve combinada con un alojamiento glorioso y un personal experto y atento que alimenta el alma de cualquier ciclista que busca un santuario y una experiencia inolvidable definida por la verdadera razón los ciclistas disfrutan de "la bici". Rocacobra da en el clavo a todos los niveles y supera las expectativas, un verdadero establecimiento de referencia. El equipo de administración y su personal anticipan todas sus necesidades casi telepáticamente, el mimo profesional lo dejará para siempre preguntándose por qué se fue. Ah, sí, y el chef es de lo mejor, el trabajo duro del día en la bicicleta se ve recompensado cada noche con una comida que está más allá de la satisfacción, deliciosa y nutritiva. Finalmente, el entorno de las instalaciones del hotel es notable y tan pacífico que su recuperación se ve reforzada, proporcionando la reconstrucción necesaria para otro día de castigo autoinducido.

Un lugar perfecto para andar en bicicleta con un servicio de reparación de bicicletas. Una cálida bienvenida en uno de los mejores lugares donde alojarse en las comarcas de Girona. El paraíso ciclista a la vuelta de la esquina. No se puede desear más

Most incredible stay, Carl and his staff are amazing.
Accomodation is elegant and clean.
Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning with a large variety of items to choose from.
Cycling routes are customised to your prefrence and the guides are super knowledgeable and passionate about there job.
Bikes are in good condition.

Alquilamos dos bicicletas durante aproximadamente una semana y tuvimos una experiencia increíble.
No sólo las bicicletas sino aún más la amabilidad y el servicio totalmente comprometido con el cliente que ofrecen es inigualable.
Ed siempre fue súper rápido para responder incluso en horas posteriores y siempre tuvo una solución muy rápida para mantenernos en nuestros viajes. Esos chicos es con lo que sueñas cuando piensas en una experiencia ciclista duradera.

Real Paradise for cyclists, road, gravel or mountain, triathletes or anyone that wants to enjoy a truly relaxing time. Rocacorba offers the perfect balance, a country feeling within a 10 minute walk of Banyoles Lake or town for breakfast lunch or dinner. Accommodations are understated, well thought out and with any and all comforts provided. The pool is suitable for training or fun and with beautiful views. The bikes are high quality. The people are what completes the Rocacorba experience - absolutely amazing. Just bring your cycling kit, the rest is provided. Thank you Edward, Carl & Ashleigh.

An amazing place to stay and high quality bike rental from people who are committed to making sure you have the best cycling experience possible. We stayed in villa Campolier for 5 days, had a great guide for 2 days to get us familiar with the area and followed routes provided by the team for the rest of the time. We're already planning a return trip!

Great idyllic base for cycling trips around Girona. Very attentive and professional bike rental. The owners put a lot of love in the place and it shows. All thumbs up!

Best cycling trip ever. Really difficult for them to capture the spirit of the place on a website. First class bike support, from unpacking of the bikes, rental, guiding and mechanical help.and then there's the place itself. Two beautifully renovated houses, wonderful home cooked food and relaxation spaces in the main building. Run by wonderful people - sorry to gush, but really!

Johan and Sandy provided an incredible guest experience. The recently remodeled rooms were clean and comfortable. They proactively helped us with restaurant recommendations. Edward guided us on a phenomenal gravel ride. It was a great mix of hard-to-find roads, challenging climbs, and beautiful countryside. We would definitely come back, and I've already recommended it to a few friends.

Amazing spot for cycling holidays, or just a general holiday to Spain with friends. Carl, Ashleigh and Ed run a fantastic bike touring business that caters for a wide audience. The accommodation is also great. Would highly recommend it.

I am fortunate to travel to amazing destinations for work cycling events and Rocacorba was definitely one of them. From the location, accommodation, views and organisation that went into our stay - everything was perfect. Most importantly the hospitality and feeling at home, it was like leaving family after just 2 days. Thats Mila below eagerly awaiting my return to see the new pool area!

The guys at Rocacorba cycling were warm, accommodating and professional. From before I even arrived at their magnificent ancient gem on the top of the hill they helped organize the logistics of my transfers and getting my bike set up ride ready. Johan’s attention to detail in organizing the trip and making sure every need was more than taken care of was impeccable.

Sandy went beyond hosting and I actually felt like I had a ‘mom’ looking after me making sure the catering was exactly to my taste and offered to take care of all my laundry daily.

Our cycling guide Ed is an absolute legend. An inspiration as an ex pro cyclist he took us on incredible rides reading our ability and fitness perfectly adjusting our rides accordingly. Always finishing off the ride with a special treat like a swim in the lake or lunch at a special venue. He also took incredible pics along the way so I will always have a memory of every special ride. Ed also has a vast knowledge of the area and shared a lot of the history and discussed current interesting topics of the region.

We also got to have one ride with Carl who is incredible. We laughed, chatted and had the most incredible ride with Carl who is also an Ex pro cyclist with lots of cycling stories and a passion for Girona that is contagious.

What is really special is that there is so much to do and experience in the area you don’t need to be a cyclist to enjoy this special place. I will definitely take my husband back with me next time as the team At Rocacorba cycling have promised to design a trip that will include some cycling for me but incredible sightseeing, Wine and foodie fun for us to enjoy together as well.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more incredible trip and I will definitely be back for more!

Rocacorba Cycling provided a fantastic bespoke experience where I was made to feel truly welcome straight away and throughout my stay at this idyllic property, particularly important to me as a solo traveller.

Johan took care of my booking and was there to address any concerns or questions pre-arrival. On arrival everything was taken care of so you can just focus on riding your bike or relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Sandy and Johan were great hosts who could never do enough and the food provided was all freshly prepared delicious and nutritious stuff.

For cycling, the location just outside Banyoles is an ideal base for a wide variety of routes depending on your preferences and abilities advised and guided by Ed with his vast cycling experience, open friendly character and expert local knowledge. I’ve been on several guided cycling holidays and can honestly say this was the best I’ve experienced.

Big thanks to Ash, Carl, Ed, Johan, Sandy and of course Mila the beagle for a great trip. I can’t wait to book another trip! Thoroughly impressed!

I little peace of heaven for any cycling enthusiast. The accommodation is breath taking and comfortable, steeped in history. Johan and Sandy are the most wonderful hosts. Eddie kept my beautiful Cervelo hire bike running perfectly during my stay and provided local knowledge and ride routes that are world class. I will definitely go back. So much more to see and do. Thank you!

We had an amazing time at Rocacorba Cycling. Johan and Sandy are really nice, everything is well organized, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is fine. Johan had some nice tips for local restaurants. We also rented a bike at Rocacorba Cycling, very decent bikes and they cleaned and checked them every night for us. Edward and Carl give some advise for nice routes and climbs in the region and, offcourse, some nice coffee stops. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain, but we can't blame Rocacorba Cycling for this ;) We will definetely come again, hopefully with some sun and a nice temperature!

This is an outstanding place for a cycling holiday - great accommodations and rental bikes, truly wonderful people who make you feel welcome and work with you to craft exceptional rides. Plus, Banyoles is nearby (walking distance), and has great places to eat/drink. Highly recommended!

I was badly in need of a new ride. Ed and Carl worked with me to define my specific needs and guided me throughout the selection process courteously and patiently. Once I made my decision, they were able to find the bike at a great price. When it arrived, they set it up and fitted me on the bike to suit my riding position and posture. From the first pedal stroke, the bike felt like I'd been riding it for years. Ed, Carl and the whole Rocacorba team were professionals from start to finish. Its probably because they ARE professional cyclists! I've been cycling for many years and I can attest, you will not find any better cycle center than Rocacorba.

We saw a photo of this place and decided we had to visit. We then met Carl (Pasio) at a cycle race in South Africa and his passion for their piece of paradise oozed out of him. Four months later we found ourselves at Can Campolier and Rocacorba Cycling and it was even more than we imagined it to be. An idyllic spot - a 17th Century olive estate just outside the lovely town of Banyoles (Girona), in the process of being tastefully and lovingly refurbished by the Moolman-Pasio family, with absolute care and attention to detail and perfectly geared to cater for all levels of cycling / outdoor enthusiasts. We loved every bit of it and will definitely be back again.

I can not begin to describe what a fabulous cycling holiday we had at ROCACORBA cycling.
Everyone was incredibly welcoming and every last detail throughout the weekend was perfect.
We can’t wait to book our next visit.

Johan and family are amazing hosts and always made sure you were always ok whether you are arriving at midnight or needed a 5am breakfast before a taxi to the airport when you leave.

Johan is particularly good at keeping your wine glass full in the evenings too!

Beautiful location with some interesting local history within the buildings. Facilities & roads are perfect for the cycling enthusiast. Customer service from the Rocacorba team was flawless.

If you like bikes, this is the place to be! Rocacorba Cycling is perfectly situated for you to enjoy world class cycling on quiet and safe roads. The venue is comfortable, beautiful, and welcoming. The hosts are the same. I can't wait to go back some day.

This is the ideal place to have a training camp or a cycling holiday. Excellent location with easy access to roads of all types from lightly rolling hills to tough climbs, plus plenty of great coffee stops to chose from in the area. The hosts are not only incredible cyclists, but genuinely wonderful people who treat you like family. Definitely recommend.
