Easy to work with and dependable. We have been using Spain and France Accountants since we moved to Spain in 2019. For us, they have greatly simplified the process of filing taxes in Spain, and we are very satisfied with their services. Initially, they provided us with information on how to get set up for filing in Spain (such as how to obtain a digital certificate to access the Spanish Tax Agency web site). Every year before tax time, they provide a spreadsheet for us to list all our relevant financial information, and they always quickly answer any questions we may have. My understanding is that their expertise is primarily in the filing of Spanish (and French, I suppose) taxes, not necessarily international taxation. For complex tax situations, such as taking advantage of tax treaties to avoid double-taxation, or if you run a business, I would recommend contacting them to discuss your specific situation and the extent of expertise and services they can provide. For us, as US nationals required to also file in the US, deciding how to coordinate the tax reporting to both Spain and the US without getting double-taxed was the difficult part, and we had to do our own homework. We basically file in Spain as any regular Spanish resident, and then get all the applicable tax breaks in the US, with the use of a US firm.

Quick and easy. I filed my Spanish income tax return with them and everything went smoothly. They sent me a reminder when it was time to file and they went over all the details with me. My case was handled in an efficient and professional manner. I highly recommend if you don't fully understand Spanish tax and need someone to submit your tax return for you or if you simply don't fancy going through the ordeal of Spanish bureaucracy.

As Americans with a small rental property in France, few things are more terrifying than facing an unfamiliar tax system. Paul and his team have been our constant guides and companions for several years now. The price and initial service is good but they are slow to complete and file the reports. MOST importantly, if you have any problems with the tax office, they are not very helpful! In fact they stop responding to our emails. We used them to file 4 years of reports. It took us a year to straighten out with the tax office. Note that their work was correct but they did not push the tax office to fix a big problem (21k Euro) - because of this, we could not complete our residence papers on time, which cost more money and stress.

I had an issue with my wife's tax, where she payed in Spain instead of paying in Germany. We employed Paul and a firm in Germany to resolve it. They could not agree how to proceed with Paul saying it was impossible to receive a refund from Spain, and the German tax attorney saying that Germany had a right to the tax. As you can likely guess by the star rating, Paul was very wrong. He filed our tax incorrectly, a mistake that cost 1500€ to fix (another firm instantly agreed with the German council, filed an amendment and I had our tax refund from Spain 2 months later).

The team sorted out a slightly convoluted French tax return relating to property efficiently and helpfully and at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
