Caminamos por la Costa Brava y fue increíble. ¡Inés fue la guía turística más informativa y divertida! Me encantó la experiencia con ella, definitivamente lo haría nuevamente y se lo recomendaría a otros.

Hicimos 3 tours privados con Spanish Trails a principios de diciembre y todos fueron fantásticos. Los guías llegan a tiempo y todos los arreglos se realizaron sin problemas. Hicimos lo último en Barcelona: tour privado de día completo con Mariela, el tour privado a Montserrat y experiencia en bodega boutique con Inés y luego el tour privado al Priorat: Czellars exclusivos, vinos y paisajes únicos con Craig. Montserrat era mi favorita pero todos eran geniales y los recomendaríamos encarecidamente.

No me preocuparía en absoluto recomendar Spanish Trails a cualquiera que quiera realizar excursiones por la zona de Barcelona. No hay nada que podamos considerar una crítica, todo estuvo genial.

Hermosos paisajes durante la caminata con algunas paradas para disfrutar de la vista. Mariella fue fantástica; conocedor y con gran energía positiva. ¡La comida también estaba deliciosa!

Pasamos un gran día haciendo kayak en la Costa Brava con Martin. Mucho tiempo en los kayaks, algunas oportunidades para nadar y refrescarse, y un excelente almuerzo tipo picnic a la sombra (que no hubiéramos encontrado solos). Recomiendo encarecidamente este viaje si desea salir de la ciudad por un día y disfrutar de la costa virgen al norte de la ciudad. ¡Una calificación fácil de cinco estrellas para nosotros!

Pasamos el día con Craig haciendo kayak en la Costa Brava y fue una joya. Ha vivido en Barcelona durante 30 años, por lo que compartió conocimientos e ideas sobre la historia y la cultura de Barcelona. No es parte de la gira, pero hizo que la gira fuera mucho más genial. También fue un muy buen anfitrión. Traje a un niño de 12 años y fue genial con él.

Craig Markarian was the best tour guide today! We went to the Dali museum and Costa Brava. He was very friendly, and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know coming to Barcelona!

Our hotel recommended Spanish Trails for a day trip we were trying to plan last minute. Filippo was very helpful with helping us select the best for and putting it together for us last minute. Our family of 5 ranked this one of the best things we did while in Barcelona! Our guide was great, the hike was beautiful and the lunch was delicious. My husband and I recently took the Dali Museum and Medieval Girona Day trip tour. It was supposed to be a small group tour, but it ended up that we were the only people on the tour, so it was a private tour! Craig and Inez were our guides. They were fantastic. Craig is very knowledgeable about Dali and shared many informative insights about him on our way to the Dali museum. He also gave us useful tips about what to see in the museum and where to find several notable paintings.we did not feel rushed at all in terms of seeing the museum due to these tips. When we met Craig and Inez afterwards, they had even brought us a loaf of bread - like the one's plastered on the outside of the museum. Being a tour, we thought lunch would be at at touristy type of place with a set menu. But lunch was actually at a beautiful family owned restaurant in a nearby small town, and we were able to choose what we wanted to have. And the meal was too much food! We didnt have dinner when we got back to our hotel later that evening. We enjoyed sitting and talking with Inez and Craig during lunch. Our afternoon tour of girona was also very fun. It perhaps was not the best day to be there- as there was a festival going on celebrating St. Narcissus.so it was very crowded, and the Jewish Museum which we had wanted to see was closed. Despite that, Craig and Inez gave us a very nice tour of the old city, with once again a lot of information presented in a very fun way! I could imagine that a guide might get flustered dealing with all of the crowds, but it did not seem to faze our guides. There was a lot of traffic coming back into barcelona as well, and we got back later than expected, but neither guide seemed to mind or be unhappy. We very much enjoyed our day with our Spanish Trails tour and would highly recommend this company.

My wife and I spent 4 days in Barcelona as part of a two week vacation in Spain and Portugal. We went on four tours with Spanish Trails guides and cannot compliment them enough on our experience. First we had Craig for a 3-hour walking tour focused on the ancient Roman quarter; then later that evening he led a 5-hour tapas and wine tour. Craig is extremely personable and just fun to be around.

The next day, we had Jose Luis for a 4-hour Barcelona Insider tour focused on the architect Gaudi with Park Guell and Sagrada Familia, which is absolutely stunning. He is very knowledgeable on the Guadi architecture.

Finally, we went on an all-day tour with Mariela to Montserrat including a brief recital by the Boys Choir and viewing of the Black Madonna. Next stop was a winery tour and tasting at Bolet Vineyard. Mariela has avery interesting background, knows several languages and a wonderful guide (and driver!)

This is our third trip to Europe and we have had many guides - Craig Jose Luis and Mariela are at the top of the list!

We had a lovely day on a tour of Costa Brava and Girona. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. The walk along the Costa Brava Coast is breathtaking. Being an artist, I now have many beautiful photos to paint. Girona is an intriguing town of winding streets, castle walls, churches, and stone buildings. We ate in the newer part of Girona at a grill type of restaurant with farm to table food and many local favorites. This made for a lovely day filled with memory making moments.

Verified a trip through Viator. Spanish Trails emailed me asking to move the date. They did not confirm or cancel, but simply did not show up. Very disappointing and felt like a day missed on out vacation. Please be aware confirmation and payment through viator is not enough.

The company should have canceled via Viator, or emailed me letting me know not to come. Extremely disappointed, as the trip was planned in detail.

We had the most wonderful day on our Penedes wine tour! We went off the beaten track to some beautiful wineries and our lunch was amazing. Our guide Jose was great fun and really knew his stuff. Highly recommend!

I have been to the pre Pyrenees and Medieval town of Rupit tour with Spanish Trails. We had an amazing tour guide who knew so much about the Spanish and Catalan culture. The tour started with a traditional Catalan breakfast, which I liked a lot. The medieval town was very great to visit. The pre Pyrenees had an amazing view I had never seen in my life before. At the end of the tour we had an amazing Catalan lunch. The restaurant had so much to offer. Firstly we tried a local Catalan wine, which was a great experience. The amount of various meats they offered was unbelievable. This tour gets a 5-stars ranking from me. From food to wine, I experienced the local culture and it was wonderful.

Had a great time, highly recommended. The level of detail and explanation of the methods used for wine making (as well as the history behind it) were brilliant.

Spanish Trails is such an amazing experience! It was my first time doing a tour with them and they are PHENOMENAL! The tour guides are so fun and the staff makes it such a fun and memorable experience. The staff is super fun and super knowledgeable. 10/10! I had the amazing opportunity to go on several guided tours led by Spanish Trails, and left every single one thinking "that was the best tour I've ever been on". These guys blow every other AirBnB and competing tour guide experience out of the water, and I will no doubt be going on more Spanish Trails' tours when I return to Barcelona.

Spanish trails excursions have been some of the best highlights of my trip to Spain so far! I absolutely loved how funny, knowledgeable and interactive the guides were, not to mention the delicious authentic meal. 100% would recommend these tours to anyone who wants to explore the gems of Spain while having a good time

I don't usually write reviews because I am usually not impacted by a business but that is not the case for Spanish Trails. This is my first review because this was such a positive experience. This was my first time in Spain and all of the tour guides I interacted with were so nice and helpful. The Pyrenees Mountain trip is a once in a lifetime experience filled with a good hike and authentic food, for any guided tour it is definitely worth the price. I will be recommending Spanish trails to anyone who travels to Barcelona, 11/10.

Really well arranged tour and personalized guide provides a lot of amazing history and inside knowledge Barcelona, Dali and Girona. Leia was amazing!

A group of us took a private 2-day backpacking trip in the Pyrenees with Spanish Trails and it was amazing! It was great getting to enjoy the hike and the views without worrying about the navigation. Our guides knew the trails well and were a lot of fun! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! A group of 9 of us hired a private 2 days tour hiking in the Pyrenees Mountains with a couple guides and we stayed in a refuge over night. As a student studying abroad in Barcelona for the semester, this has definitely been my favorite weekend yet! I would highly recommend this tour with Spanish Trails.

Two tours with Craig, a university faculty member. An interesting 3 hour walking tour of the very old section of Barcelona and an exceptional all day wine tour in the Priorat area outside Barcelona. He was helpful, attentive, personable, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend him!

We did the sea kayak and caves tour with Craig and Lya! This was a unique and exciting opportunity to see something off the beaten path, and the scenery was extraordinary. Booking, meeting, transportation.all of it was a breeze. Craig was a knowledgeable and engaging leader. It was a great opportunity to get out of the city and see some of Catalunya’s natural beauty.

Really great experience! I booked a tour for 4 (Costa Brava & Medieval Girona) and our host was the best. He was a very safe drivers, chatty and informative, and incredibly nice, thoughtful, and warm. He is very good at respecting group time vs tour time and was always ready to show and tell us little secrets to each location. Very, very happy with the entire process and would book again.

Great experience with our tour guide Craig. Very knowledgeable of the history and architecture of Barcelona. Had tips on restaurants and other things to do. I would highly recommend this tour to get the most out of the city without just aimlessly wandering.

Had the most beautiful and unforgettable day at Costa Brava with spanish trials through our school, Alba. We saw the beautiful coast line as well as experienced areas that were untouched by tourists and other companies.

Our experience with Spanish Trails was nothing short of amazing. Dan, our guide, took my parents and I up to the Montserrat Monastery, where he explained the history and importance of the entire site. He was funny, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The views were incredible and our tour included a meal at a small Catalan restaurant which was delicious! We ended our day at a lovely winery where we were informed of the wine-making process, and given samples of multiple different types of the wine they produce. I would highly recommend this company, as well as this tour to anyone looking for a guided day trip! Will definitely be booking with them again soon!

HIGHLY recommend booking a trip to the Pyrenees Medieval Village. Easy 1.5 hr hike with lots of stops along the way. Waterfalls, cliffs, excellent viewpoints! Visiting the village was like going back to ancient times. Our guide Jose Luis was outstanding and very well informed of the area. He took us to the best local restaurant with some of the best steak, chicken, and rabbit I've ever had. Jose was funny, easy to talk with, and a fantastic driver. Everything was taken care of, all you have to do is show up. Take a day and book this trip!

Spanish Trails is incredible in they're end-to-end service. Jose, our tour guide for the Pyrenees trails tour brought us snacks, explained things in great detail and left us feeling so satisfied at the end of the day. Thank you Spanish Trails and Jose! Highly recommend.

If I could rate my Costa Brava experience more than five stars I would! Filippo was an incredible guide with great energy. He was very knowledgeable about the area. To top off our beautiful hike, we had a delicious meal right by the water. You do not want to miss this one of a kind experience!

We had an amazing time on our day trip to the Dali museum followed with a walking tour in Girona. Our tour guide, Andrew, was funny, knowledgable, and super friendly. He is what made the tour amazing. His knowledge into art history and historical importance of Girona taught us so much about Dali and Girona. He was very kind and accommodating to all our requests. We had a group of 5 and luckily no other group booked the other 3 slots in our tour so we basically got a private tour. We opted for the lunch option as well and the restaurant Andrew took us to was authentic Catalan food and a great experience.

Highly recommend Spanish Trails for the quality of the tour, tour guides, and price. What a great deal! Ask for Andrew if you can!

I had so much fun exploring Costa Brava with Filippo! The hike was beautiful and the food was delicious. Filippo is so fun and energetic. My friends and I had a great time on this adventure together.

Honestly a great company. Our tour guide, Filippo kept things light hearted and gave us tons of information along the way. He even introduced us to a local friend who has a dream catcher gizmo to make your dreams come true. We got a great authentic lunch along the beach, while he ran back for 50 minutes to our starting point to get the van so that we would not have to wait. Highly recommend the Costa Brava trip!

Perfect day exploring Costa Brava! We had Felipo as our tour guide and had the best day hiking and enjoying the beach. We also had an amazing lunch. Great experience!

Really fun tours, the guides are all amazing and hilarious especially Martin and Dan. Filipo will challenge you to race but he is very slow so it easy to beat him.

Aurora is wonderful and takes you out for an unique, informative and best of all delicious food and wine tour. Good variety of establishments and food and drink and history behind some of the neighborhoods and proprietors and Catalan culture. The trip I took to Girona with Spanish Trails was amazing! We got to see the big parts of the city, walked around in the forest, and had some really good food. Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable and it was just a train ride away from Barcelona. Highly recommend.

We took a full day tour of Costa Brava, Pals and Girona with our family of five. A truly special day with our amazing guide Andrew who was full of history, humor and local knowledge. I underwent an unforgettable night in Spain with wonderful food and wine.if you would like to try a wide variety of cheese, Iberico Ham, delicious Tapas and wine from Spain, you should join the Tapas and Wine walking tour in Barcelona. Our tour guide Ersiliando is humorous and knowledgeable, she talked about Barcelona's history, culture, fantastic landscapes and fine foods with us. We are very satisfied and truly enjoyed this trip.

We booked a 3 day wine tour of the Priorat and Penedes regions. Our guide, Andrew, was top notch - personable and knowledgable. Accommodations and meals were great. Had we been on our own we would have never had the access and experience that we enjoyed with Spanish Trails. Highly recommend - we would book with the again.

We took the Monserrat & Winery tour, which comprised a full day outside of Barcelona. Monserrat was completely stunning. The lunch at a local restaurant was a good respite before moving on to the winery, which showcased some of local wine. Our guide, Jose, kept us informed of the history associated with what we were seeing, as well as local customs, myths, and more. It was a full, long day but we enjoyed it all!

My son and I registered for a small group tour, but we were the only participants for the day! What indulgence! We felt like old friends of Phillipo to whom he was showing the sights. His preparation and background was excellent. The lunch provided was beyond all expectations. Warmly recommended.

We had a wonderful D. O. Q. Priorat tour with Dan. Can't recommend this specific tour from Spanish Trails more! What a unique experience! So interesting and fun would gladly take the same tour upon returning, that's how much we loved it! You get to see wineries that would not normally be open to the public and enjoy a beautiful drive out from Barcelona to the Priorat region. Quite a long drive but well worth it! If you love wine you MUST take this tour on your visit to Barcelona!
