The Moods Catedral

Sin duda volveremos cuando volvamos a Barcelona. No hay mejor ubicación en la ciudad que ésta, a la vuelta de la esquina de la Catedral. A poca distancia del centro comercial, la Barceloneta y muchos más. El personal muy amable y las habitaciones eran increíbles con una bonita vista de una de las calles más concurridas de Barcelona. Sin embargo, la habitación estaba muy tranquila. ¡Estancia increíble!

Este hotel tiene la ubicación perfecta justo en el centro de Barcelona. Las habitaciones estaban impecables y el personal era amable. La habitación y la ubicación eran perfectas para nuestra escapada a la ciudad y, ubicadas justo afuera de la catedral, nuestra vista era hermosa. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente, estuvimos muy felices aquí.

Lugar súper céntrico y a la vez tranquilo. Personal amable y servicial. Muebles con estilo. Precios razonables. ¡Volvería a reservar!

Excelente ubicación, lamentablemente todo lo demás dejaba mucho que desear. Solo estábamos buscando un lugar para pasar una noche, debido a fiascos de vuelos, y había innumerables opciones cerca, pero queríamos un lugar con balcón, así que elegimos este, pensando que sería un lugar decente en general (había muchas opciones más económicas), incluso con balcones. Ni siquiera pudimos usar nuestro balcón porque había un mochilero que hacía bastante ruido sentado justo al lado de nosotros, pero eso no es culpa del hotel).

Hay una alfombra real en el baño que es tremendamente repugnante ya que en realidad nunca se puede limpiar (es decir, la orina, etc.obviamente es salpicada por hombres que usan el inodoro, que nunca se puede limpiar y vive eternamente en la alfombra). Además había pelos en las paredes.

Finalmente, varias personas negaron varias veces obtener una salida más tarde de 30 minutos hasta que finalmente la amable chica del día de la salida finalmente lo permitió. Las habitaciones son pequeñas incluso para la ubicación (visito Barcelona todos los años), por lo que la limpieza no llevaría mucho tiempo.

El ascensor parecía no funcionar porque la gente dejaba la puerta abierta en otros pisos, por lo que debe usar las escaleras a menos que quiera esperar mucho tiempo (3 pisos de subida, lo cual es una molestia con mucho equipaje).

Tampoco hay escritorio ni mesa en la habitación, sólo la cama y un pequeño banco para poner algunas cosas. Por el precio, puedes alojarte en un hotel de cuatro estrellas cercano y tener una experiencia mucho mejor. Esto parecía más un albergue tanto por la clientela como por la calidad. Buscaría en otro lado.

¡Me encantó mi estancia aquí! ¡El agua, el café, el té y las galletas gratis fueron una gran ventaja! Personal amigable. Viajaba sola en Barcelona, ​​celebraba mi graduación de la escuela de posgrado y me sentí muy segura en esta zona. Ubicación absolutamente fantástica para hacer turismo, la única vez que tuve que usar el transporte público fue para llegar a La Sagrada Familia. Realmente no puedo exagerar lo buena que es la ubicación. Todo lo demás estaba a 15 minutos a pie. Me gustó el aspecto boutique del hotel, ¡era como ir a tu apartamento en lugar de a un hotel de la mejor manera posible! No tengo idea de por qué se llama albergue porque no lo parecía en absoluto. Está justo al lado de Gloria's con puertas grandes, no es el más fácil de encontrar, pero una vez que sabes qué buscar, ¡es fácil! Las habitaciones eran minimalistas pero actualizadas y modernas. ¡La vista y el balcón son para morirse! Me encantó sentarme y ver pasar el mundo en el balcón con mi taza de café gratis. Noté que, al menos en mi habitación, podía ver incluso la vida de la calle desde mi cama cuando las puertas estaban abiertas, lo cual era fresco. Mientras las puertas estén completamente cerradas, no tuve problemas con el ruido exterior y tengo el sueño bastante ligero. Diré que hubiera estado bien una mini nevera o un desayuno gratis, ya que no los tienen, pero no es tan grave como para no tenerlos. Soy de EE. UU.y estuve en un viaje a España, y tuve un viaje de vuelo MUY difícil con escalas/corriendo en los aeropuertos, y recuerdo vívidamente que finalmente llegué a este hotel y fui recibido por trabajadores amables y pacientes. En general, ¡muy recomendable!

¡El Moods Cathedral Hostal Boutique es perfecto para una estancia segura en Barcelona! La cama era cómoda, gran dormitorio y baño con secador de pelo y amenities, y dormitorio con terraza con mesa y sillas con vistas a la avenida. La ubicación es perfecta para caminar a la mayoría de los lugares, y el servicio fue excelente con galletas, agua, té y café gratis. Recomendado 10/10! Más hotel que hostal.

Accesibilidad a pie: Cerca de los barrios del Born y el Gotic, Las Ramblas, la playa. Y justo al lado de la Catedral de Barcelona.

El único punto es.que no hay un gran cartel en el frente que indique que allí está el albergue.

Gran lugar para el valor. Habitaciones muy limpias y un servicio al cliente increíble. Empleados muy amables. Me alojé una noche y lo consideraría para estadías más largas.

We had the most perfect stay here. The location is absolutely perfect, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a room with a terrace which was great. The staff is available 24/7. I 100 percents recommend this place

Great location, large comfy bed, clean and tidy. Decent enough size room with a balcony, not noisy. 24/7 concierge, free tea and coffee area, able to leave bags to pick up later on last day. Friendly staff.

The Moods Catedral hotel is an excellent option at a great price for staying downtown in Barcelona. The rooms are modern, stylish and clean, and the 24 hour coffee bar is a nice touch. Front desk staff was onsite 24 hours/day and was friendly and helpful when we had any questions. If available, request room #4, which is located in the corner and has a beautiful view of the Cathedral and square below. Pro tip: book directly through their website for an additional discount. Very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel! The design of the hotel is very chic & clean. Front desk service is available 24/7 to answer any of your questions or to assist you in any way. There is a neat area to make yourself coffee or tea. The hotel is located in a great area close to the Gothic Quarter! I definitely recommend!

We booked room at official web site. It was confirmed online. When we came to check in - they said “sorry, you booking didn’t come to our system, we don’t have room for you”. And we had to spend half of the day for searching place to stay. So we highly ask you to change decision choosing that place. In another case you can try our experience even in another service for booking.

We chose The Moods for the location and price, which did not disappoint. Absolutely central to all of the sights, between the waterfront, Gaudi's highlights, Gothic Quarter, and any other neighborhood. Room was clean, very comfortable bed (american king size) and nice mood to the room, trendy. Convenient to have coffee maker and fridge available in the common areas. This felt more like a boutique hotel than a hostel, and had 24-7 staff who all spoke English, helped us with directions, train schedule, water for the coffee maker. Bed was an American king size.
One major challenge was that the air conditioner seemed to stop working overnight. Every night. But in the late morning it would start up again. We asked the desk but they had no answers, came to the room and checked settings and said "it's on now", but it definitely was not on, not blowing. We opened windows overnight and it cooled right off (was pleasant in May). Friends in another hotel experienced the same thing, maybe a shut down overnight to save money. We were fine and that was the only downside. I probably wouldn't book here again during summer but otherwise we were absolutely pleased especially at this price. Excellent shower, wifi, quiet room when windows were closed, easy access.

We made a reservation to the property for 1-7 April. After the covid19 outbreak, we have lost contact to property. They had informed me that they will refund on March 31 but no acknowledgment for 4 months. I am still waiting for an answer.

This was a basic yet perfect hotel. This is definitely a boutique HOTEL. On the website and in some other places online I have seen it listed as a HOSTEL. It is most definitely a hotel. Our room was very bright with 2 balconies letting in lots of natural light. The room was small but so nice and airy and bright. The bed was very comfy and the shower was big and pleasant. The location of this boutique hotel really sets it apart from other similar hotels that are priced at the same as The Moods. It is so central and all the main locations of Barcelona are walkable from here. The staff are very friendly and work 24/7 to make your stay a happy one. Plus free water was such a nice touch, especially with all the walking we did. Although being next to a busy road, I did not find the traffic loud and late at night the road was quiet. 10/10 would stay here again.

Been here 9 years ago. The place got much better after recent renovation. The staff is friendly. Given the location price is reasonable for quite comfortable minimalistic rooms.

Beautiful building in a beautiful area. If you get a room with the balcony facing the cathedral that's the best choice. Very friendly customer service. Nice rooms. One of the nicest hotels I've been to. 100 percent recommend it.

Very noisy room. A room has only small bathroom and shower. You dont have inside hangers, shelves and anything. You here another people from the hall. The price is too high. 100 euro is a madness. If you have to pay more it doesnt make sense.

Confortevole ostello situato nella zona centrale di Barcellona, al barri gotic. Molto versatile come punto strategico per muoversi in città, anche se la metro è praticamente utilizzabile anche in altri punti della città. Questo B&B è situato in un palazzo accanto alla cattedrale. Non offre colazione, ma solo the. La cera era accogliente, per quanto affacciasse all'interno del palazzo e non offriva panorama. Our first hotel on our visit to Spain. It was great! We loved everything about it.people working at the reception, free coffee and filtered water, clean rooms, all amenities provided, balcony with a stunning view of the plaça and comfortable beds. The location was ideal, to explore the Gothic quarter.

Small, noisy and very expensive hostel without any instalations. You pay a lot of money only for cramped room, that has problem with heating and hot wáter.

The rooms in this hostel are very basic and poor. The unique furniture in every room are only two things: bed (because should exist) and some table. Rooms dont have any wardrobe to put your clothes inside. We had to leave our clothes and stuff inside the luggage in the floor. The equipment and conditions in the rooms are prepared for a soldier, not for clients and dont worth money you pay. Forget about AC. This hostel is too expensive. In the same street around the hostel every day there were hard manifestations. People threw the paving stones and burnt the rubbish bins like during the war. Situation in the street was badly controlled.

There is no better place to stay in Barcelona. Close to everything in the heart of the city! Clean and new!

Hôtel très bien situé convient pour un week-end. Permet de visiter la ville à pied car à proximité de plusieurs quartiers. Chambre standard avec lit king size. Et personnel serviable et souriant. Je recommande.

Un hostel que está cerca de todo tipo manifestaciones y disturbios. Es muy ruidoso, se oye todo lo que pasa dentro y fuera. No es seguro. Aire acondicionado no funciona. Es muy muy caro. Las habitaciones en las fotos parecen bien, pero en la realidad sólo tienes una habitación muy pequeña sin sitio para guardar tus cosas. 100 euros por una noche es una locura.
