Unisub L'Estartit

Obtuve mi certificación AOW aquí durante abril. Casi todas las inmersiones fueron 1 contra 1.
El equipo está en buen estado, un traje de neopreno de 7 mm de grosor suficiente para el frío y el barco es cómodo.
Las inmersiones no duraron mucho (unos 35 minutos) debido al mayor consumo de aire provocado por la baja temperatura del mar (13 grados). Pero sigue siendo muy divertido.
Los entrenadores son muy amables y profesionales. Muy buena experiencia.

Desde fDes de fa anys que bussejo a Unisub. Personal atent, amable i super professional. Ambient molt agradable. Aquí he realitzat tots els meus cursos de busseig. Bussejar a la reserva marina de les illes Medes no té preu, si tens l'oportunitat de fer-ho, aquest és el teu centre. Recomanable al 100%.a anys que busseixo

Pasamos 4 días maravillosos aquí. Centro de buceo bien organizado. Cada día se visitan diferentes sitios de buceo y se hablan varios idiomas. En cualquier momento. ¡Volveremos!

Recomiendo encarecidamente Unisub en Estartit. Reservé una primera inmersión en agosto, que fue cancelada debido a las condiciones climáticas, según tengo entendido. Sin embargo, todavía no he recibido un reembolso tras esta cancelación, lo cual es completamente inaceptable. Mis intentos de comunicarme mediante llamadas y correos electrónicos siguen sin respuesta, lo que me hace dudar de su integridad. Esta experiencia me dejó un sentimiento de intensa frustración y me llevó a criticar severamente la falta de profesionalismo y honestidad de esta empresa hacia sus clientes.

He conocido en mi instructora Laura la pasión por el buceo y como lo transmite, con que facilidad y dedicación, super atenta siempre. Experiencia inolvidable Laura. El resto del equipo de Unisub que he tenido el gusto de conocer son muy buenos, muy cercano.

Un equipo agradable (Sean, Nancy, Willy, Miguel, Laura, Roig, François) que hace todo lo posible para complacerte. Un barco cómodo con ducha y WC que ofrece espacio y está bien diseñado para el equipamiento de los buceadores. Inmersiones muy bonitas en las Islas Medas, especialmente a mediados de octubre, con una densidad y variedad de peces excepcionales en mares a 22 grados.

Gran centro de buceo para sacarse cualquier titulación PADI. Las inmersiones las hemos realizado tanto en piscina como en mar (costa e Illes Medes).
Muy a gusto con todos los miembros del centro de buceo. Material del equipo en muy buen estado.
Sin duda, volveremos para continuar nuestra formación de buceo y para realizar inmersiones!

Hice el curso Open Water con Unisub y la verdad es que me muero de ganas de volver para hacer el Advanced Open Water.

Fue todo genial, tuvimos a Roig de instructor y la verdad es que es un profesor excelente.

La última inmersión en illes medes fue una maravilla. Visibilidad estupenda y muchísimos animales, tuvimos mucha suerte.

Fantastic experience. Very professional guide that helped my newly qualified daughter of 13 years old. Boat was really well designed with raised height bench to put BCD’s on. Also a very spacious toilet on board. Equipment was new and the new shop is awesome with plenty of space and modern. No doubt, Unisub are the people to dive with in Estartit!

Just back from Estartit with 10 dives with Unisub. Diving in a protected area, revealed the possibility of how abundant the marin life can be in the "Med". Big Groupers, Barracudas, huge schools o Bream, etc, etc.
Unisub with a comfortable & covered dive boat. Well equipped, with a friendly & competent staff. Clear briefings with usually 2 suggested routes, at the moorings.
Languages: - English, German, French, of course Spanish. (Maybe more, these were the ones I noticed).
SUPER PLUS POINTS: -
Great dive sites, Fantastic Boat & Crew.
NEGATIVE: -
None that come to mind!

Una maravilla de gente! Mi primera inmersiones tras el open y solos mi chica y el instructor, Willy eres un crack!
Fue increíble, repetiremos.

Personnel très agréable et arrangeant, à su répondre à toutes nos questions, dans plusieurs langues.
Lors de notre sortie snorkeling, la monitrice, Lola, a très bien géré et rassuré les enfants avec qui nous étions.

Personnel sympa parlant plusieurs langues. Tarif un peu cher mais la qualité des animations est là.

Buscábamos una empresa que me diera la seguridad suficiente para la inmersión, porque yo no sé nadar, y aquí fueron muy profesionales. Muchas gracias a todos los instructores, sobre todo a Nancy, que nos instruyó y me acompañó durante toda la inmersión. Te llevan cerca de la islas Medes, a una zona tranquila, con peces, y aguas limpias. Se hace corta, y luego puedes hacer snorkel un rato más si quieres. Encantada

Empezé mi aventura bajo el agua con unisub, no puedo hacer que darles las gracias por el trato tan personal, despues de realizar también el curso de open water esto es solo el principio! Si veniis unos dias en el estartit no dudéis en disfrutar de las medes con ellos, un 10!

Grandes profesionales en su trabajo y un trato como si fueses su familia. Me he sentido como en mi casa, volveré a repetir está experiencia única

Dive base: Well organized and always friendly and helpful dive team. A never seen before world class compressor station. Diving boats perfectly suited for medium to big groups.
Dive Spots: Both main sites "Coast" and "Islas Medas" are worth to see, but definitely more and bigger fish at Medes)
Apartments: Big, friendly and clean apartments, located right next to the base/marina - ideal for divers; Only the beds are not very comfortable.

Overall, very good experience.

What we liked:

- The gear was brand new for the most part. Digital manometers are pretty cool and provide you with useful information (Depth, air pressure, temperature.) if you do not have a dive computer.

- Miguel, our guide for most of the dives, was a very cool guy, he set a very laid back pace for the dives and we liked this (Even if sometimes I would have liked to stay still for a little longer when we encountered this squid). He also provided help when I lost both my fins during one of the dives ^^. Also spoke fluent french and did his best to find us some grouper fishes (Mérous: p)

- As I said, I had trouble with my fins, they gave me another pair with a different design to accommodate me, also provided a bigger mask to when I requested after the first dive.

- The girl at the reception, whose name we did not ask cause we have questionnable manners: p, was super cool, it was a pleasure to go to the shop and she always try to accommodate us and answer our questions.

- The conditions were complicated at sea, so one of our dive that was supposed to take place in the Medes Islands was rerouted to the coast to as spot we already dived the day before. They told us so before the dive so we could decide whether or not we wanted to go. Much appreciated. Also on the last days for the last dive my girlfriend was not feeling well so we did not go and there was no fuss, we really did appreciate this as well.

The missing star is because the pace was quite fast when boarding / gearing up / disembarking, and we were a bit rushed by the other (french) instructor on the second day. We understand it was a busy time, and rough conditions at sea were adding some stress for the team, but the constant rush was a bit much, and we did not even have time to do proper buddy checks before going into the water.

Also, just so you know, they don't do "two dives in a row", it was always one dive, back to the port, then leave for another dive, then back to the port etc. Not what we were used to.

We would definitely come back, but rather during the low season, because we like to avoid any kind of stress on our vacations:)

Anyways. Good operation with good people. We paid roughly 400 euro for 4 dives each with Island taxes, guide, and full gear, which I reckon is a very honest price!

Una experiencia estupenda. En mi caso el "kit" más básico. Snorkel, viaje en barco, llevarte a la cala y disfrutar de la fauna marina es una pasada y a un precio muy razonable. Buenos equipos, y los monitores muy majos y profesionales. Muy recomendable.

I did one diving day (2 dives) andthe Nitrox course in this scuba center. The diving in Illes Medes is definietely worth it, the spot is very nice in terms of nature and easiness of reaching from the beach (only 10min by boat). But when it comes to the school itself, my personal experience was not the nicest. I didnt feel I was given enough attention during Nitrox course, we didnt discuss the exam questions and it was a bit in a rush from my point of view. Once the dive is finished, they are in a lot of hurry because the next diving group is immediately entering. During the dive our guide was not paying a lot of attention to us, we even lost her underwater for few minutes due to problem with boyancy control - my buddies stayed and waited until I get back to a good position, whereas our guide was continuing and only realized we had to stop after few minutes. In general everything ok, but my impression was it is a very commercialized scuba diving center and I rather dont feel like coming back. The good side: the wetsuits were very comfortable, and in general all the equipment very well maintained.

Un tracte pròxim i professional, disposen de tot el material en excel·lents condicions. De totes les immersions que he fet al mediterrani a estat on he vist més mero, déntol, barracuda, dorada, llobarro, cigarra, …. Amb un fons rocós plè de coves i racons espectaculars. Sense cap mena de dubte repetirem l’experiència amb ells.

In general the place where we were diving was beautiful, the equipment was new, but everything was in a hurry. We were doing Nitrox course and when we were discussing the detalies before, the school told us that we will have time to discuss all of the doubts. There was no time + during the second diving the guide was not so interested about us. I know we are certified divers but friend had some problem with bouancy so during the dive she went all the way to the surface. With other friend we were waiting for here to see if she will menage to solve the issue. The guide didn't noticed it so she was continuing going and we lost her for few minutes - later she camed back but the issue was already solved. So yeah. I know we are certified divers but it leaves me with mixed feelings.

No hay nada comparable de la zona de la costa brava como las illes medes, la fauna marina que habita es impresionante, los instructores super simpáticos y grandes profesionales, te sientes totalmente seguro con ellos y el curso una pasada. Con ganas de hacer el resto de cursos aqui. Gran trabajo! ️

Club de plongée très sympathique, le staff est très serviable et répond à toutes nos questions. Le bateau est spacieux et l'équipage n'hésite pas à nous aider pour la mise à l'eau et la sortie de l'eau. De belles plongées avec eux. Je recommande!

Situat entre moltes altres empreses de submarinisme, donen un tracte amable quan hi vas per a fer una immersió familiar tot i que el seu públic natural són aficionats propers al professionalisme.

Nous avons vécu, avec mes deux garçons, une très belle expérience. L'équipe est vraiment professionnelle, rassurante. Tout s'est parfaitement bien passé. Véronique a su s'adapter au capacités de chacun. Je n'ai pas souhaité descendre en-dessous de 3m car la pression sur mes oreilles était suffisante et j'ai pu profiter pleinement de ces 20mn. Que du bonheur, surtout après 5 mn où la détente est pleinement au rendez-vous et permet d'admirer ce monde soous-marin enchanteur! Merci!

Fabulós! Molt amables. No teníem gaire experiència i l’Oriol, molt simpàtic, ens van ajudar en tot moment. L’oficina està molt a prop del moll i el vaixell és molt gran. La Pedra de Déu és una zona molt bonica i vam veure uns anfosos enormes, i molts espets. És una reserva marina fantàstica! Repetirem!

Muy buen sitio de buceo para las illas Medas. Hemos hecho dos inmersiones estupendas con ellos. Muy atentos y amables con todos, sobretodo si no tienes mucha experiencia. Los equipos de primera calidad y en perfecto estado y te solucionan cualquier problema que puedas tener. Los guías se conocen la zona y las corrientes de memoria. Recomendable 100x100, volveremos.

Nos trataron de maravilla, aún cuando mi compañera es una Open reciente, cuidaron de ella en todo momento. Las inmersiones geniales, había mucha vida. El barco es muy cómodo. Un saludo a Rakel y Oriol que fueron nuestros guías!

Excellent diving with great people. They have two boats, one of them is huge so no problems about space. Briefing was clear and helpful. Diving in the Medas was beautiful thanks to Unisub!

I spent a week diving with Unisub and it was great. The crew was very friendly and helpful and the captain did not take any risks when it came to swell and strong winds so you did not have to worry about clambering up a ladder violently moving up and down with all your dive gear on. The tank service was also excellent with full tanks being provided right in front of the boat in transport boxes. The dive briefings were another excellent thing and they were spot on. Nature around the Medes Islands is awesome. We saw a ton of animals including barracudas, groupers, dragon heads, moray eels, spiny lobsters as well as gorgeous gorgonias.

There is only one aspect that could use improvement, which only came to mind after my stay: After every dive the crew would give us small plastic glasses with hot tea. Unisub should think about replacing those with metal cups that can be washed considering all the dives they do throughout the year.

I highly recommend going diving with these guys. Thanks again!

Fatal. Cuando llegamos ahí después de más 2 horas de viaje, gastos de gasolina y peajes, nuestra inmersión se había cancelado. Nadie nos avisó (una llamadita no costaba nada) y el trato que recibimos fue desagradable. Perdimos todo el día y no se nos compensó de ninguna manera, simplemente se lavaron las manos y hasta luego Mari Carmen.
Muy desaconsejable. Por supuesto no volveremos.

Professional and friendly outfit running four dives a day at this time of year. This is the second time we have dived with Unisub and would happily recommend them as they cater for all levels.
