Unite Hostel Barcelona

¡Me he alojado en el Unite en una habitación privada, con mis dos hijos y lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados! Todo fue perfecto, el personal fue muy servicial, la ubicación era perfecta y la habitación estaba muy limpia.
¡Definitivamente regresaré!

Elijo este albergue por segunda vez. El albergue es moderno, la habitación era muy cómoda y bastante grande. Estaba limpio. El personal fue muy agradable, el servicio fue perfecto. Definitivamente me quedaré aquí la próxima vez.

Todo está bien excepto las mujeres del personal de recepción con siempre malas actitudes. No lo tomo como algo personal, parece que tratan a la mayoría de las personas de manera grosera.

¡Tuve una estadía increíble en Unite Hostel en Barcelona! El personal era muy amable, las habitaciones estaban impecables y la ubicación era perfecta. Los eventos que organizan fueron realmente divertidos y una excelente manera de conocer a otros viajeros. ¡Definitivamente recomendaría este lugar!

Es mi segunda vez en Unite Hostel. Y puedo decir con gran orgullo que el trato recibido las dos veces a sido impecable e de aclarar que voy en silla de ruedas. El personal en todo momento estuvo pendiente de que todo estuviera acorde a mis necesidades. Sin lugar a dudas es un establecimiento hotelero que recomiendo sobre manera.

Event = ‘speed friends with a free drink’ at 9pm…. The staff forgot about the event today……25 people were waiting in the lounge……. Bar remained closed on a Saturday night…
Kitchen = clogged sink, only 3 glasses available, no cutting knife, no oil, no oven, dirty, only 1 stove with 4 cooking pits for a hostel with 440 beds?
Nice beds but not enough storage room / closets in the dormitory
Breakfast = good value for 8 Euro pp and includes fruit, bread, toasts, pastries, cornflakes, cheese, chorizo, butter, yoghurt, milk, coffee, thee, juice
Hostel = soulless

Best place and location. 5 minutes to beaches 5 min to the metro. Quiet, safe and silent area Bunch of supermarkets and dinners exist.
The hostel staff were kind and helpful. There are lockers if you want to store your luggage after checkout for 6 hours 3.5€ 12 hours 4€ 24 hours 5€. The rooms were clean and had bright big windows with thick black curtains.there were hand soap and toilet tissue. No curtains for the beds. Safe stay with entering elevator with card

Hermoso Hostel, una cerveza gratis al dia, gente buena onda, muy higiénico, camas cómodas pero lo mejor que tienen son las áreas comunes. Cuando vuelva a Barcelona voy a volver a venir aca

They have you pay 5€ to store your luggage until the room is ready, while it’s free anywhere else. Price is expensive and higher than the average in Barcelona, and they don’t let you cancel or modify the reservation is something else comes up or you don’t like it.

The kitchen is so badly equipped there was only one knife and they had me microwave my water because there is no kettle and the hot water didn’t work.

Really loved my stay at Unite - super cosy, great common spaces and co working area and so near everything you wanna see and experience in Barcelona.

Unite was a very good experience. The hostel is modern and clean, and the location is great. Is about 5 mins from Barcelonetta and 20 (ish) from the gothic square. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the hostel is for sure a good and convenient option. BUT, is not perfect. The shower have a very short time that runs, so you need to press it at least 10 times per shower. The pressure of the water in the room tap is absolutely strong. The shower area have no room to keep your things and it’s get quite wet after a shower, no alcohol allowed on the fridge. Small things, of course, but it could be improved:) a good experience in general

The rooms are not very practical. No shelfs or benches in the room. Same situation for the bathroom. Everything needs to be but on your bed or on the ground. For the price it’s listed I’ve seen better.

Very good for a hostel. Beds and rooms are clean. They don't provide a safe space however - but they do sell locks for €5 so you can lock your drawer above/below your bed. Location is perfect - even if you wanna visit La Rambla and Catalonia Plaza, you can get there in 35mins walk, 15mins cycle (many cycle sharing apps exist for cheap), or direct buses from right outside the hostel.

One of the best hostels I’ve been. Felt safe and secured. Nice card access doors to every area. There is plenty common areas space and the atmosphere is amazing. There is also a big plus on the study/silence room separated from areas where you can work or study remotely. Wifi is free and fast. The kitchen is well equipped and lots of fridge area. The outdoor space is great on top deck. The hostel is clean and the attention to client good.
The only downside I can see is that the locker by the bed requires a lock and that lock is 3 eur while in other hostels the locker access is free included in the price. Overall very well recommended.

Had an amazing time! Amazing staff. Fiore is so nice and so much fun! She gave me a really nice welcome that made me feel like home:) she also gave me really good advices for places to visit and eat. 100% recommend!

Las habitaciones están muy bien equipadas, es un típico hostel enorme y muy impersonal, el trato del personal de recepción fue demasiado desganado y apático.
Encontramos las areas comunes como el baño de la habitación bastante sucias durante toda la estadia.
Algo muy importante a tener en cuenta es que cobran por el uso de taquillas para el guardado de equipaje (4 euros por 6 horas) no entran dos mochilas grandes. No hay opción de guardado gratuito.

Everything was very well organized in the hostel. Reception, kitchen (we didn't use the breakfast, we provided our own), elevator, rooms, roof-top area. We really liked the location in which the hostel is located - a relatively quiet place outside the main centre, but easily and quickly accessible by public transport or even on foot (for active individuals). We ate well in the area around the accommodation and always got great coffee. The nearby beach offers great opportunities for relaxation or sports.

Esta súper guay el hostel y la chica de recepciones (Fiore) me aconsejo lugares muy chulos para visitar en Barcelona y buenos sitios para comer, la verdad súper maja y atenta! Lo recomiendo mucho

Los baños se encuentran dentro de la habitación y se escucha todo. Si el baño estuviera fuera sería mucho mejor.
La atención del personal de recepción un poco bordes. No te dan una buena bienvenida a la llegada del hotel ni te explican nada.

Great if you are staying for business/work or with a group of friends.
If you are a solo traveller (English speaking) you may struggle to find friends (for my experience) and no drinking.

This is the first hostel in my life when it looks EXACTLY the same as on photos. Really nice place, I spent here 2 weeks. They also have only female dorm, which might be useful for a female solo-travelers. There is equipped kitchen with common fridges and stuff, you can cook there. Also, one floor has big common space and coworking office if you need to work.
I recommend you to book in advance, it will be cheaper then booking “for tomorrow”

The common area was great, the beds very comfy, the views were great, quiet area, and the rooftop was wonderful. The only pain point was the kitchens, which was quite dirty.

The hostel was clean and modern and when I had an issue outside of the hostel, the staff were very knowledgeable and they did everything they could to help me solve it.

Ostello particolare, si possono prenotare camere familiari con bagno privato, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, ambiente pulito a circa 500 metri dalla fermata metro linea 4. Nelle strette vicinanze c'è un centro commerciale, supermercato, diversi ristoranti e pizzerie, farmacia etc

Las instalaciones son excelentes, lo malo es el sistema de reserva y las tarjetas, para cada noche tuvimos que estar pidiendo tarjetas porque no funcionaban, sin contar con que nos querñian cobrar 100€ más y que tuvimos que pasar como 2 horas en el checkin al llegar.

Bastante caro para lo que ofrece la habitación. Sin armario o espacio para dejar las cosas de forma ordenada.

Charging ports were not wroking.
Light stopped working of washroom and toilet papers finished.i called them for same to fix but no body came and then they changed room.other room was dirty except our beds as there were only two people on the room. Again, Charging ports of our beds were not workingn but however we charged
our mobiles on charging ports of upper beds slots. Used bed sheets and towels were on the other beds and some towels were on wash basins. Very bad experience.

Pretty good hostel. We had a private family room for 8 people. One of the ONLY negative things was that the water pressure was SO HIGH that when you push it on, everything in the sink area is soaked.
Also, our hand and body soap dispensers were empty the entire time. When I asked for toiletries, as advertised, I was given a handful of conditioner.while nice, but what I needed.

Clean lobby, walkways, halls, rooms, etc. Comfortable beds, to European standards. Shower is nice, but the water is on a timer, so you have to push it about every 30 seconds.

Don’t be fooled by modern interior design and description of the hostel. In reality the atmosphere in very unfriendly and the rooms are super inconvenient (no curtains around beds and bathroom in the sleeping area). Don’t recommend!

Really great hostel, lots of amenities and well connected.
Yoga, movie nights, coworking office space, hang out room, dj booth, kitchen and friendly staff. No complaints

Kind staff, great rooms, comfy beds and a very good location are definitely worth five stars. Just enjoy your stay in Barcelona at the unite hostel.

Ostello super, personale gentilissimo, spazi ampi, dotato anche di una zona di coworking super carina. Non posso parlare per le camere in comune avendo prenotato una privata, ma per quanto concerne queste ultime veramente agevoli, luminosissime e letti molto comodi. L’unica pecca sono i rubinetti a pressione che ti concedono poco tempo per sciacquarti, ma a parte la piccola scomodità lo consiglio vivamente. La zona è ben servita di mezzi, sia autobus che metro, a pochi passi dal porto e dalle spiagge, il lungomare è pieno di ristoranti molto carini e nonostante non sia centralissima non dista molto dalle zone più centrali. Anche i prezzi sono abbordabili, se tornerò a Barcellona sicuramente alloggerò di nuovo qui.

When I visited the hostel I didn't had electricity the first two days. The employees said: "It's normal", when it's definitely not! I had to discuss many hours and spend a night in a dark room where I had to navigate with my mobile phone LED and had to shower in the dark. I asked for compensation after my trip, because of these circumstances: I could get a discount on my next trip: NO THANKS!

I know these things can happen, but how you behaved is a NO GO. So, do yourself a favor and choose a different hostel.

Update to your answer: It wouldn't be such a problem for me, unless you would not charged me the full amount for these nights. But you did and you even discussed with me for hours until you even realised that it's your mistake.

Staying here was a very pleasant experience. We had booked for 6 people, so we had got our own room. The room, shower, sheets and towels were all clean. Staff was very friendly and an overall great Hostel to stay for a great price! Definitely recommend to stay here!

Excelente ubicación y limpieza. El personal es muy amable. Estuve en la habitación compartida x 8 y los espacios son muy pequeños para una persona de estatura normal. El resto todo muy bien, wifi, enchufes, seguridad.

I booked a 4 bed private room with private bathroom at Unite Hostel. It was very clean, nice water dispenser with filter in the kitchen, quiet common areas, and excellent recommendations from the front desk for food. Would definitely stay again!

The place and rooms it's OK, but someone that clear the rooms stoled my jacket. I advice you to stay away from this place or you have to bring only things of little value otherwise someone will steal your things!

Grande auberge de jeunesse, située à côté de nombreux commerces et de la mer. Accueil sympathique. L’endroit été « vide » de touriste pendant mon séjour mais j’imagine l’endroit avec une très bonne ambiance que ce soit au rooftop de l’immeuble ou bien dans le grand salon détente.

Ottimo posto, ben tenuto e clima spettacolare, a due passi dalla spiaggia e da una fermata della metro.

Location is not central, and there's a weird smell in the room and kitchen. I prefer Sant Jordi hostels.

El mejor Hostel en el que he estado en toda mi vida.
Me encantó el ambiente y la decoración de las habitaciones, al lado de la playa literalmente y cerca del centro.
Muchas noches hacen eventos de lo mas diverso en el propio Hostel.

Un hotel muy cómodo, con habitaciones muy amplias y funcionales para ir con niños. En mi caso nos hemos alojado con mi marido y mis dos hijas pequeñas y hemos estado muy bien. Ideal para una escapada familiar!

Great service, though they usually don't allow an early check-in. You can keep your luggage in a chargeable locker at their place in case there's a travel gap.

Visité este lugar con unos compañeros de un curso que realicé próximo a este establecimiento. A uno de los compañeros no le trajeron un pedido en toda la comida. La comida no estaba mala pero tampoco buena. El personal fue muy descuidado y el precio exagerado para lo que comimos. Para no volver.

Estuvimos 3 noches en el Hostel y estuvimos muy a gusto. Limpio, bonito y muy bien situado. La atención del personal es buena y repetiremos seguro.

Mis amigos y yo estuvimos alojados un par de días y me sorprendió muchiisimo a bien. Personal atento y agradable, muy limpio y con gran variedad de actividades. Justo el día que fuimos hicieron una preparty de una fiesta y al día siguiente yoga.

Super, les dortoirs sont très bien pensés, très propres!
La terrasse pour se relaxer avec sa super vue et la pièce commune pour se regarder un petit film sur grand écran tous les soirs à 22.00.
Pas de chance depuis hier avec un groupe d'adolescents allemand qui fout le bordel dans les parties communes, mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'hostel, juste un gros manque d'Education et les responsables de leur groupe inexistants!

Muy recomendable! Cómodo, funcional y muy cerca de las playas. Ideal para ir en familia o con un grupo de amigos.

Precioso hostel. El personal de La recepción es muy amable y te ayudan con todo lo que precises.
Las habitaciones son cómodas y grandes, cada cama tiene su intimidad, y eso está muy bueno, además compartes baño y ducha solo con los de tu habitación (no en todos lados pasa eso).
Tiene un salón para comer y cocinarte muy bien equipado, cómodo y amplio.
Tiene una zona de chill out súper linda, con puffs, sillones, hamacas.
Esta muy bien ubicado, a pocas cuadras del metro y de la Rambla.

Ótimo lugar, super bem localizado, hostel limpo e bem acolhedor, nada de barulho, muitos casais jovens e de idade hospedados. Ônibus para tudo quanto é lado, supermercado próximo, praia a 4 minutos andando. Realmente não tenho o que desprestigiar.

Nice when reception, not so nice after on me inquiring wifi info on issues and response on issues specially the receptionist atending which supervisor had to interfere for, cleaning lady was way nicer!
