Xior Student Housing - Residence Diagonal-Besòs

Soy José Ramón el padre de Alex y tanto yo como Alex estamos muy contentos, sobre todo de haberte conocido a ti por lo atenta, ágil ,rápida, servicial y muchas cosas más que nos has demostrado durante estos 5 meses. Y la residencia Universitaria Xior Diagonal-Besos perfecta, a cuyos todos vosotros/@s os nombra como su FAMILIA DE BARCELONA y su curso de practicas con ROV QSTAR TRAINING CENTRE aprobado y quisiera hacer el curso siguiente durante el próximo semestre y poder continuar como hasta ahora otro semestre más.
Por lo que te pido formalmente la ampliación del plazo y si puede ser con el mismo compañero que se llevan muy bien.
Muchísimas gracias por tu atención. y que termines de pasar unas FELICES FIESTAS DE NAVIDAD.

Hemos estado alojados mi pareja y yo durante dos meses, y estamos muy contentos.
En primer lugar, el trato de todo el personal es excelente, especialmente la chica de recepción.
En segundo lugar, las instalaciones están muy bien y la habitación era muy espaciosa. Pudimos incluso disfrutar unos dias de la piscina, que se encuentra en una de las terrazas. Además, el gimnasio está equipado con todo lo necesario.

Sin duda, volveríamos a repetir.

Xior es una residencia de estudiantes universitarios y también está ubicada en el campus. A veinte minutos del centro de la ciudad en transporte público. Nos quedamos aquí diez días. Nuestras habitaciones eran individuales y fue genial en ese sentido. También hay una cocina en la habitación. Pero ya estábamos recibiendo tres comidas al día y la comida era muy buena. Comimos muchos mariscos. El único defecto de las habitaciones es que las camas eran literas y encima. Es un poco complicado llegar a la cama, pero así las habitaciones se han vuelto muy útiles. Además, Xior es una muy buena opción con sus áreas de juego y recreación, gimnasio, piscina, lavandería, etc.

El mejor alojamiento para estudiantes en barcelona, ​​una vez me olvidé de poner mi comida en el frigorífico y simplemente les dije que lo hacían por mí.
Las habitaciones son perfectas y tienen muchos espacios. El aire acondicionado es realmente bueno. La cama es muy cómoda, no puedes levantarte
El ambiente es realmente agradable y podrás disfrutar de tu estadía en Xior.

Estuve el segundo semestre y genial. La situación dentro del campus es inmejorable y las instalaciones son modernas.
La limpieza y el trato con el personal inmejorable.
Estuve en un estudio con vistas al mar muy bien equipado. Repetiría si pudiera.

I enjoyed my stay at the residence. Excellent amenities and very quiet.

I liked very much the amazing staff from the reception, very professional, helpful and friendly. They were extremely accommodating and allowed me to check-out a bit later.

Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! I definitely would recommend it:)

My time in Xior was amazing! The apartments get cleaned once a week, there is a basketball court and pingpong tables as well and an amazing rooftop pool checking in and out is super easy and they even saved some of my stuff that I forgot in the room

Me gustó mucho el increíble personal de recepción, muy profesionales, serviciales y amables. Fueron extremadamente serviciales y me permitieron hacer el check-out un poco más tarde.

¡Todos los miembros del personal con los que me encontré, desde el check-in hasta el personal de limpieza, fueron encantadores y estaban ansiosos por ayudar! Definitivamente lo recomendaría:)

Los aires estan limitados a 27 grados en verano y 19 en invierno y es insoportable. La gestión de mantenimiento y limpieza es bastante deficiente, hay muy poco personal.

Bueno barato no es precisamente, aunque claro, en Barcelona que hay barato? El alojamiento está bastante completo es moderno y tiene buena iluminación. En contra punto, estoy en una habitación frente a la autovía y el ruido que llega es más que considerable, me cuesta mucho conciliar el sueño dado que no hay tabiques solo ventanales que cubren la pared al completo y lo hace un poco ruidoso, en el tema de limpieza se preocupan por tus opiniones y siempre intentan que estés satisfecho con los resultados, los servicios de lavandería son caros bajo mi punto de vista.
Me han tratado muy bien en recepción desde el principio y me coge a dos pasos de donde he de trabajar, cerca de todo lo importante metro bus playas, localización perfecta y áreas ajardinadas alrededor.en general bastante satisfecho.

Actualmente la climatización de las habitaciones no es aceptable, puesto que está haciendo altas temperaturas y el aire acondicionado apenas permite refrigerarlas, desde hace unos días.
Tampoco está funcionando como debería el servicio de limpieza: con personal escaso, solo alcanza para una limpieza muy superficial y rápida, con lo que el objetivo de 'impecable' no se cumple.

Xior Diagonal-Besòs is a great place to stay! I lived in Xior for a period of 1.5 years, where I rented a “Estudio Individual”. The studios are very new, modern, and spacious and contain both air-conditioning, heating, and lots of storage space. The residence is very quiet and walking distance from the beach. It is located nearby the city center, and within 20 minutes you can be downtown by metro or tram. The common areas are cleaned every single day, making it a very neat place. Big shout out to the entire reception team who is always willing to help wherever possible with special thanks to María for her great hospitality! Thank you for this amazing and unforgettable experience!

Mala gestión!
Estudio muy pequeño el techo hay marcas de agua muy mal cuidado y el suelo parece el suelo de un garaje, es muy incomodo a la hora de subir a dormir para el precio que está no se lo merece!
Hay mucho ruido de coches tanto de día como de noche ya que da directamente a la autopista! En invierno se hace imposible salir del loft del frío y el viento que hace ya q está al lado del mar, la piscina es pura decoración es solo de 1 metro y se la mantiene sucia no la limpian!
No se permiten visitas, se la mantienen haciendo normas y es muy incomodo ya que con tantas normas no te sientes como en casa
La devolución de la fianza te la devuelven al pasar 3 meses, es una norma que se han inventado ellos! Ya que en ninguna vivienda tardan tanto para devolverte la fianza!

I enjoyed my stay at Xior so much! The receptionists were all really helpful and nice, super clean space and I appreciated the fact that there were extra spaces for studying or working outside of the rooms. The receptionist Saray also always helped me with everything I needed and even offered to call me a taxi when I was moving out, which was extra attentive of her. Overall great experience. ️

Hi, i stayed 1 month at Xior. It has ups and downs but I would 100% like to promote and highlight the work of Ms. Andreína García, she is a receptionist and really delivers top rank customer service. She treats everyone with high respect, very very polite, very professional and kind. She does her job on a high satisfactory level and i realized none of the other receptionist does that. I actually had unpleasant experience with some of the other careless receptionist employee, they are not well informed, they could not help me with my queries, and they said that they have to ask Andreína what to do.so I just wanted to say that if You have a chance, put Andreína García to a higher position, because she is representing the Residence on the highest level, great skills, very well informed always happy to help, she is kind and hard working. The only reason I gave a 5 star rating for Xior is because of the dedication that Ms. García showed towards her role, towards me and the other student residents. Thank you again Andreína for the excellent customer service experience!

Excellent! I can absolutely recommend this residence! Apart from the beautiful location as well as the facilities; the staff is incredibly helpful. Especially Saray, Alba & Daniel have been very kind and considerate.
All of them have excellent English speaking skills and whenever there was a request, they reacted quickly and solved the issue:) Thank you guys!

I was staying at XIOR during my exchange semester and truly regret it due to the experiences I had to make.
Besides having to pay for 4 months although not using my room (because there was no way to get out of the contract) all of my belongings that I left there got stolen/mysteriously disappeared by the time I was about to pick them up again.

I did clearly communicate with XIOR’s Administration the date I would be coming back in order to pick up my belongings that I left in my room, where only employees of XIOR have had access to.
A few weeks before the communicated pick up date they told me that there was nothing in my room anymore.
Then, they promised to compensate me for the lost/stolen belongings as they claimed to haven’t seen anything in their camera surveillance data.
After I sent them all receipts they requested and months of difficult communication with XIOR and especially their Manager because he repeatedly ignored me, I realized that they never had the intention to compensate me.

Therefore I can only recommend to
NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH XIOR BARCELONA, as I am extremely disappointed as well as shocked about how they treat their customers.

El lugar es bonito, pero la administración de la residencia es muy mala. No se cumplen las normas de convivencia, ruidos molestos por las noches, objetos que los residentes depositan en los pasillos obstaculizan el paso a otros. Se permite a los residentes dejar basura en los espacios comunes, siendo por momentos muy desagradable. El personal es amable, pero cuando te retiras demoran hasta 70 días para devolverte la fianza, aunque hayas entregado la habitación en perfectas condiciones.

Asegurarse antes de contratar nada con ellos. No contemplan eventualidades que pueden ocurrir o circunstancias haciendo valer las "normas". Seguramente son normas que la matrícula no se devuelve como en nuestro caso que finalmente mi hija no va a residir en Barcelona, pero a ellos les da igual. Sólo les interesan los ingresos.

Xior Diagonal-Besòs está muy bien ubicada en una zona tranquila de la ciudad. A poca distancia de la residencia hay supermercados, restaurantes, un gran centro comercial, etc.y en transporte público se encuentra a pocos minutos en el centro histórico de Barcelona. La residencia en sí contiene varias instalaciones, entre otras, salas de estudio, multimedia y coworking, un restaurante moderno, un gimnasio, una lavandería y varias zonas exteriores (una piscina, terrazas, tenis de mesa, etc.). Las habitaciones son modernas y tienen todo lo necesario para estudiantes (o profesionales). Además de eso, hay un servicio de limpieza semanal. El personal es muy amable y está disponible las 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana. En resumen, puedo recomendar Xior Diagonal-Besòs a estudiantes (o profesionales) que busquen una vivienda moderna y tranquila en la ciudad de Barcelona.

Excelente residencia con todos los servicios y en una ubicación inmejorable. Hemos alojado a grupos deportivos y siempre ha sido un servicio perfecto y nuestros clientes han quedado muy contentos.

Xior Diagonal-Besòs is a great place for students to stay in the Barcelona area.  The facilities are new, clean and modern.  The building staff is very responsive to every inquiry we had.   Ms. Maria B, the manager is very accommodating  and she always finds a solution.  Lastly, we got our security deposit back very quickly without any hassle.

A pesar de la situación en la que nos encontramos todos, ha sido como estar en casa. El trato con los residentes es muy bueno en todos los aspectos. Las instalaciones la hacen moderna y acogedora y tiene muchos espacios comunes que vale la pena aprovecharlos para conocer a gente nueva a la vez que para desconectar y/o centrarse para estudiar.

Magnífica estancia en la residencia, fue un placer pasar unos meses allí. El personal es muy agradable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Yo recomiendo

La residencia es un excelente lugar para compaginar el descanso y los estudios, sin olvidar la calidad de su restauración y la profesionalidad de todo el personal que trabaja.

Buffett libre, calidad precio lo mejor que hay en Barcelona. Es el restaurante de la residencia de la UPC. Nuevo, muy limpio y personal excelente.

Lugar super acogedor y cómodo (cerca de la universidad). Exelente atención. Ambiente muy familiar.

Assez déçu de mon séjour et je ne vous recommanderai pas cet établissement pour plusieurs raisons:

1°) Tout d'abord, on me transmets un tarif qui ne correspond pas à la réalité. Ainsi on vous facture automatiquement 250 € en supplément sans que vous ne puissiez obtenir d'explications à ce sujet (j'ai fait 2 demandes sans obtenir d'explications claires). Pour un séjour de 15 jours ça fait très cher.
2°) Ensuite, le prix de la semaine n'est pas le même que le tarif que l'on m'a donné 4 mois avant (et plus de 15 % d'augmentation en 4 mois.je n'y crois pas).
3°) A mon arrivée je demande à avoir une demi-pension, on me propose un tarif pour 13 diners et petit-déjeuners, je fais confiance et je paye sans vérifier, le dernier jour en calculant, je m'aperçois que j'ai payé plus cher qu'en payant directement au restaurant à la carte!
D'autant plus que je n'ai pas pu prendre de petit-déjeuner le dimanche car le resto était inexplicablement fermé!
4°) J'ai du verser une caution de 1000 € pour d'éventuels dégâts, sur le principe je suis d'accord mais lorsque la réceptionniste vient le dernier jour faire l'état des lieux elle me confirme que tout va bien et que je serais remboursé sur 2 à 3 jours, quelques heures après (alors que je suis parti) on me signale par message que je ne serai remboursé que dans un délai allant jusqu'à 30 jours.de qui se moque t-on?
5°) Les chambres situées côté autoroute sont extrêmement bruyantes.et c'est peu de le dire! à partir de 5h du matin une très grosse circulation vous réveillera et ce jusqu'à minuit! Si vous souhaitez réserver demandez absolument une chambre de l'autre côté (sous la terrasse - piscine).
6°) A savoir: il n'existe aucune poubelle où jeter vos ordures (ni à l'intérieur de la résidence, ni à l'extérieur car les seules poubelles à proximité sont des bacs de recyclage verre et cartons). Et le service du ménage ne s'en occupe pas (bien entendu). Très agréable de chercher la première poubelle à. 1,5 kms de là!
Bref, vous l'aurez compris, pour 10 à 20 € de plus par nuit, je choisirai un hôtel, avec un vrai service de ménage et une tout autre qualité, dommage car le personnel est très aimable, le seul point positif.

I had a great experience in Xior Diagonal - Besòs Residence Barcelona, I felt during my stay being part of a community of people so tranquil an open minded.

What to say about the residence, a perfect place to live, with all the amenities that someone would need, facing the wonderful beach of Barcelona and having a pleasant pool on one of the rroftops.

It was a joy to live there, I would recommend it to absolutely everubody and special thanks to all those responsible for the administration of the residence that are always so kind and efficient with everything.

Not the best location as it is quite far from everything but the accommodation itself was exactly as I expected and the staff was super friendly and responsive

Durante el año que viví en la residencia tuve una experiencia increíble. Desde el día uno todas las personas que trabajan en Xior me hicieron sentir como en casa, siempre muy pendientes de cualquier cosa que pudiera necesitar, mantuvieron permanente comunicación conmigo y atentos ante cualquier solicitud. A parte de el excelente trato humano, el lugar fisicamente está nuevo, es moderno y muy cómodo a precios muy accesibles.te ofrecen TODO lo que pudieras necesitar, desde restaurante, piscina, gimnasio, salas de estudio, terrazas, lavandería.

Repito de nuevo para el próximo curso, como padre, la residencia y el personal me han dado la tranquilidad de saber que mi hija esta en las mejores manos y la mejor residencia de Barcelona!

Son unos caraduras peseteros. Nos cobraron 300 euros de la garantía por qué qué tuvieron que lavar un edredón y repintar unas rayas en las pared

I stayed at Xior from September 2019 until July 2020. The rooms are very modern and clean. The rooms are cleaned and bedlinen&towels are changed every week (which is nice as you don’t have to bring bed stuff or towels). The bathroom is big and has a lot of storage space. The study desk is huge but the chair is just not very comfortable. However, the residence has two big study rooms in the basement which are nice for long study sessions. The kitchen is just fine for one person, but it doesn‘t have an oven.

The terrace and the big pool are without a doubt the best part of the residence. I spent a lot of time there with friends from and outside the residence. The only thing that is missing there is some shadow.

The residence is also very quiet and close to the beach. It may be further away from the city centre, but there are tram (2 minutes) an metro (10 minutes) stations close to the residence. There is also a bicing station next to the residence.

If you have a problem, the reception (available 24h/24h) solves it very quickly. I had a good time at Xior!
