Elizabeth y su equipo en AAH Veterinary fueron absolutamente increíbles. Fueron geniales desde el primer contacto. Nuestro perro estuvo alojado en sus instalaciones durante un largo periodo de tiempo, durante el cual nos mantuvieron informados con muchas fotografías y vídeos. Han preparado con éxito a Lucy para su viaje de regreso a Australia sin problemas ni sorpresas.
Estamos muy satisfechos con sus servicios y los recomendaríamos encarecidamente (tanto veterinarios, como alojamiento y transporte). Gracias por todo.

Words cannot express how fantastic everyone is at AAH. They have looked after my dog since she was a puppy and, over the last 7 years, they have been extremely kind, attentive, professional, and always there if I need them. They are quite simply THE BEST. Thank you for everything.

We just arrived from the US with our dog flying cargo with American Airlines. Everything went very smoothly and there were no issues with the vet check or customs. Communication was great, and with both the US vet and Dr. Nave in Spain we were able to accomplish this task without the need for a pet transport service. Nothing against using them but it was proving difficult our dates were changing due to heat concerns and we wanted our dog to fly on the same flight. AAH/Dr. Nave is highly recommended.

Mal servicio y atención, la chica de pelo afro que tiene un asentó raro vamos, que atención más mala, aunque esté cerrado hay que ser amable con las personas no ser tan cortante y no tener carisma si así atienden también los animales no la recomiendo

COVID Experience 2020-2022:
For the last 2 years we have had to bend and move to make the best of difficult times. We have had to work hard to keep up with understandably nervous people and time limits and our own employee health issues as I'm sure all businesses have. Please forgive any shortcomings. In all with so many people we have dealt with we have come through with flying colours! Our pets have been safe and well through it all and that was our main interest: Keeping them safe and Healthy!

It is a blessing to bless and also help our colleges in the comunidad de Madrid who have helped us so much throughout the years!

One of the worst professional experiences I’ve ever had. I am moving from Madrid to the US and trying to transport my Yorkshire. I contacted Elizabeth Nave November 18 for help with a flight December 21st. I was told I couldn’t book the flight until two weeks in advance, which was understandable. A bit before 2 weeks I emailed her and she said she would let me know on Thursday. On Monday I emailed her as I hadn’t heard back, and she let me know it was a holiday in Madrid and she would let me know (not sure why she suggested Thursday she would let me know if it wasn’t possible). 4 days later I had still not heard back from her and emailed her again as we were leaving the country in less than a week. Again she emailed me back saying “I hope to get that soon”. Thankfully we were able to contact another agency that day who scheduled a flight for us the same day. Moving countries is stressful enough, and to work with a company so unresponsive and unreliable made the move so much harder. We were left to scramble to find a flight for our dog 6 days before moving to another country because we trusted that this company was going to help us. I would recommend any other service to help you transport your pet.

Elizabeth helped me get my bunny across the Atlantic, she was very reassuring and kind. Communications were a bit slow at the beginning, but once the day came her service was excellent and I truly felt I could trust her once we met. I’d just suggest a more structured way of dealing with the clients’ requests, other than that I highly recommend her services!

I didn’t ship with this company (at no fault of their own), but consulted with them for a quote. Elizabeth was extremely responsive and helpful. I will keep them in mind for the future

They are wonderful with our pets and very gracious always with us. Great location in Pozuelo, though it's not always easy to park. The whole team speaks English. And they have residence options.

Llamamos para pedir información sobre el traslado internacional de mascotas porque nos habían hablado muy bien de está empresa que presta estos servicios, nunca contestaron al correo, llamamos nos dijeron que devolverían la llamada hace un mes o más. Ya no hace falta que llaméis, no entiendo los buenos comentarios que tiene este servicio.

Cannot thank the team enough. Relocating to the Philippines and loving my dogs was tearing my hair out to get them there. AAH took care of all. As I had to doa Covid test and 48 hour quarantine they looked after my boy and girl for me. On arrival I Cebu they were both fine. Now happily at my side once more

I had my French bulldog shipped from Madrid to Houston and everything went smoothly. He got home safe and sound?

Me gustaría recomendar el servicio de Elizabeth o AAH Veterinary Services con 5 estrellas fue excelente. Después de buscar con varias compañías esta fue la más cómoda económicamente y no solo eso, Milo mi perro iba a volar un Viernes no se pudo y Elizabeth cuido de Milo hasta el Lunes siguiente de una manera muy cuidadosa y amorosa, ella se tomo el tiempo de enviarme fotos de el mientras estaba en el campo de Madrid. Muy importante mencionar que ella no me cobro nada extra por cuidar de él esos días aunque no estaba en el plan, el monto $$ que ella me dio al principio se mantuvo hasta el final, todo unos profesionales. Si buscan un servicio para transportar a su perro este es el mejor se los aseguro, muy contentos estamos de tener a Milo aca en Costa Rica con nosotros. Gracias AAH Veterinary Services.

We used AAH as our primary vet clinic for 2 years while living in Madrid. All staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with our dog, who can be a handful when at the vet. We completed a full panel allergy exam during this time, and the staff was very helpful in answering our questions about the results and what we should change accordingly.
AAH also helped us with all the steps of moving back to the US, in the middle of COVID quarantine, this past month. For being such a difficult time to travel, they were extremely helpful getting us what we needed, and thought of many things we hadn't previously considered. Even the day before the first flight, and between flights when getting to our final destination, Dr Nave was helpful with any last minute requests or questions we had. I can't imagine having done the move without their assistance.
Overall, a great experience and highly recommended clinic!

Though this clinic received many good reviews, this was not our experience. After a two-week stay, our dog was returned to us dehydrated with significant weight loss. I can only encourage perspective clients to select a facility that allows customers to visit and view the boarding facilities.

Terrible experience. Entered their pet hotel weighing 12kg to be returned in 10 days weiginh only 9kg. From the posture and sores under arms it was also obvious, that the dog was in a confined space most of the time. At no point of the stay did they contact anyone about the deteriorating condition of the dog.
I cried all night ater they brought the dog back home. The dog was shivering for days.
If you care about your pet, please think twice before contracting this company. For them it´s just business.

Elizabeth and her staff were amazing - competent, easygoing, and helpful. Our dog, Lexi, arrived back to the USA with far less stress (on her part and ours) than when she traveled to Spain. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you AAH and Elizabeth!

We WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend AAH; they were wonderful with us and great with our Rottweiler and have ALL essential services.

We used AAH for our time in Spain while working at the US Embassy. The team has English speakers and they are very informed about shipping pets internationally. The team has all the necessary paperwork and vaccinations for your pets (US and European standards). We have a Rottweiler and the team was helpful explaining to us all the info we needed in order to register our pet as a PPP (potentially dangerous animal - some breeds require registration as a PPP) in Spain. They'll also inform you about certain issues in Madrid during each seasonal change.

Her team also offers boarding service at a very small cost. We left our boy with the team many times and never had a complaint. The dogs are outdoors at the boarding service and have a lot of space to run and play, in addition to many other dogs to mingle with. Her team will take photos and post them to their Facebook page so you and your family members can check on them.

Upon our departure from Madrid, Spain, we left our dog in boarding with them until the day we flew out of Madrid. The team offered (at a cost) to transport our dog to the airport so we did not need to keep him with us in the hotel and try and find a cab service to take him to the airport. It was a HUGE relief as hotels will charge quite a bit extra, in addition to all the other items on your mind (kids, work, etc)

Elizabeth, met us at the terminal with our pet ON TIME and with everything in order. She was also able to brief us on everything we needed for the kennel and other information about flying with a pet.

If flying out of Madrid and using AAH, your BEST option is the fly with Iberia Airlines. Iberia does not have weight restrictions for pets and only charge a flat fee (300 Euros) to transport pets under the plane.

If we return to Madrid, we will certainly use them again. Cheers.

We used AAH for ground transport of our two large dogs in 2017, and used them again for the entire trip back to the states. Elizabeth speaks english which was a saving grace for me. She was very prompt to reply, communicated clearly about exactly what she needed from me, and kept me updated during my dogs' journey. She gave more than one quote to let me decide the airports to/from and helped me determine the best timing for shipment. In 2017, we arranged the flights for the dogs and this was about the same price as doing it ourselves, only much more convenient. The dogs were picked up at our door (6 hours from Madrid), boarded during their health checks, certified for travel, and dropped off at the door in California. I HIGHLY recommend AAH! Their customer service and professionalism are fantastic and they took very good care of my furry family members!

Excellent care for animals, helpful staff, always smiling. A pleasure to go there for our Labradoodle. Very professional service. Close to our house but worth driving there if you need a good VET.

In autumn of 2017 I tried working with this company to arrange moving my dog from Madrid to Dublin. For months they strung me along with poor/delayed communication and told me that these types of plans were made last minute. They gave me bad information and asked me to pay via PayPal as a gift- super sketchy. A couple of weeks before travel I finally got a lead from a friend and spoke to TravelDog. We found out that AAH had been WRONG about the dates that my dog could fly. There were NO direct cargo flights from Madrid to Dublin on the date she assured me that she could travel (this was confirmed by the airline/airport.) Also AAH had quoted me far too much. TravelDog had to hustle to make last minute arrangements for me and they did it for almost 500 euro less! Turns out my arrangements could have been made further in advance. Bad communication, bad information, and bad pricing. My dog almost got stuck in Spain! I cannot recommend this company.

Wonderful vet care and boarding. Clinic staff was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. When boarding my dog, I had 100% peace of mind leaving her, knowing she'd be checked on often by the vet herself and she'd get lots of good exercise, socialization, attention, and fed quality food! Couldn't ask for more.

I don’t know what we would have done without the excellent services we received from Dr. Nave. As soon as we landed in Madrid with our dog until we had to transport her back to USA Dr. Nave handled it all without a hitch. Not only that but during our time in Madrid we boarded our dog with her many times. Her caring staff took such good care of her, as well as picking her up and dropping her off at my doorstep. I miss AAH Veterinary Services and would highly recommend them to anyone living in Madrid with a pet.
