Me encanta el sonido y la estética muy tradicional que tiene! Todos han sido muy amables desde el principio con un trato y una atención no convencionales. I recently purchased the nicest guitar I have ever owned and played, The beautiful Felipe Conde 1975 flamenco guitar. I already owned a classical CC36 from Felipe from 2018 and I love it a lot, however this particular instrument is astounding. The beautiful aged spotless German spruce top and gorgeous Madagascar back and sides are breathtaking. The rosette is also the most stunning I’ve ever seen. It has a beautiful crisp tone that is powerful and ranges in that it has wonderful lows and sweet highs. It is also very easy to play due to its lower action than classical guitars. If anyone is considering getting a high end flamenco guitar, I suggest to look no further than Felipe Conde as he is the greatest guitar maker and all of Spain. Many thanks Felipe! Chris Swicegood

Hace algunos años compré de ustedes un guitarra flamenca blanca (la FP15, o su equivalente).
Adoro esta guitarra y la toco todos los dias. Además de ser preciosa a la vista, es suave como una seda y muy fácil de tocar. Gracias por crear instrumentos que son practicamente obras de arte.

He comprado la guitarra Reedicion 1975 y es la guitarra con el sonido mejor que he visto en mí vida.

I was interested in acquiring a concert guitar for some time, and reached out to Conde Guitarrero and was invited to their workshop to try out a few models. A few months later I decided on a model and bought a guitar, again after trying out a few other models as well. Felipe was very helpful during this process, addressing all my doubts and being very kind in general.

The guitar itself is a piece of art, with an room-filling sound that is simply beautiful and pleasant to listen to. Moreover, the playability of the guitar is spectacular, with a very comfortable fretboard. It took a about a months to get used to the guitar, but now I would not change this guitar for any other anymore.

Thanks Felipe for building such a marvelous instrument that I will for sure only like more and more as time goes on.

Conde is arguably the most prestigious guitar house in Spain.
The charm of visiting the atelier, and how incredibly welcoming the team was, offering recommendations and helping to try different guitars, was a pure joy.
There is also the scent of the cedar when you enter, the beauty of the explanations about the details that make these guitars such a special piece of handcraft... It’s an incredible experience

After many years of following the Conde guitars on every possible platform, I decided to go there and visit where the magic happens! Felipe welcomed us into his store and even let us see his workshop! I tried a few amazing guitars made by master luthier himself. The cherry on top of cake, the conde family cooperated with my wife to surprise me with a limited edition cejilla too. A day I will remember for sure! I fell in love with flamenco guitar and the Spanish culture at a very early age. Their passion, love of life, and soul is so magically expressed in their music.

Watching Paco de Lucia play guitar is simply an spiritual experience! He transcends all forms of language and culture and unites the whole world with his gift of music.

There is a reason why the legend Paco de Lucia and countless other greats play a Conde Hermanos. Conde has become synonymous with the classic “Flamenco” sound!

One day on YouTube, I saw his 1975 re-edition being played. That authentic raspy flamenco tone projecting from that guitar made my heart stop! It was like it was calling to me. I had to have one.

I said to myself Mr. Conde has been building guitars for famous guitarist for years and surely he wouldn’t have time to build one for an amateur such as myself. However, I built the courage to contact him anyways and to my surprise he was excited to talk to me and was thrilled to build me my dream guitar!

I couldn’t believe it! I thought I was dreaming! He actually talked to me and kindly took the time to build me what I wanted to the very fine detail. Him and his wonderful partner Evgenia corresponded with me every step of the way updating me with each process to the very moment his masterpiece arrived to my home.

Mr. Conde and Evgenia genuinely took pleasure in making my dream come true and now as a result, I own my dream guitar!

My experience purchasing and playing Felipe Conde's guitars
has been absolutely wonderful! Felipe was gracious and unhesitatingly helpful in helping me select the right guitar for
the type of music I'm interested in and for my current, and hopefully, future skill levels. The level of service that Felipe and his staff provide is nothing short of first class. I received a Felipe Conde FP14CW as a gift for my birthday last week and could not be any happier with it's quality, performance, & sound quality.

I had previously traveled to Spain to Felipe's salon and was very surprised when he graciously agreed to come out to meet us! He could not have been any more accommodating as he sat and spoke with myself and my girlfriend for over an hour, showing and playing different guitars on a Monday evening. I purchased an FP14 model on that visit.

I am based far away from Spain in Hawaii, so you can imagine my anxiousness and trepidation in receiving a guitar, sight unseen, and having not actually played it before purchasing. I needn't have worried as Felipe adjusted and went over the guitar in detail. I am generally a skeptical person, but the guitar arrived in perfect condition and was setup perfectly.

So, in conclusion, I will say this: In this world of mass produced guitars and jaded customer service representatives. I give the highest of Kudos to Felipe and his familia for their keen attention to detail and stellar personalized service! Is it any wonder that Paco de Lucia and a host of others have, and continue to play their guitars? You have a lifelong customer in me sir. Mucho Gracias!

Wonderful guitars! After spending 2 whole days trying out about 20-25 flamenco guitars in at least 8 different shops in Madrid, I finally bought one from Felipe Conde. Bright, powerful, percussive sound, easy handling - just the one I was looking for. It was a pleasure!

This new guitar of mine, fron PelipeConte, already has two souls, that of Mr. Conte and yours too dear, Evgeniya. A guitar is like a body, it absorbs what is around it, I feel the power of love in it, it is not just wood and strings, it is energy of love, your energy Mr. Pelipe Conte and you dear Evegeniya for your competent help in making the right choice, and I will turn it into music.

Finally able to affort a second hand Conde and found one on the internet. Wasn't 100% sure of the authenticity. Tried to get in touch with Felipe Conde and got an answer within the hour (it is a real one) Wow, what a great service. Their level of service matches their level of craftsmanship.

I am now counting the minutes untill I can pick up my first original Conde! If I ever find enough funding for an upgrade, I'll definately go to Madrid to get one from their shop.

Trying to find the perfect flamenco guitar for myself was very difficult, it took a lot of research and watching many different videos of various guitar models and makers to decide. After all with COVID shutting the world down, travelling to Spain wasn’t really an option so it had to come down to trusting your ears and your gut on the videos provided. As soon as I started looking up Felipe Conde guitars, the model that grabbed me immediately on a deep personal level was the FC25, with Madagascar Rosewood. Even though the model is on the more expensive side. I trusted my gut and ears and purchased it. I Knew from the sound it provided that it would bring out the best in my playing. When the day came and it arrived at my door, I really did take a moment to appreciate what I was about to open. I slowly opened the case and removed the beautiful cloth on top of the guitar and I smell the most beautiful wood fragrance I have ever smelt in my life. And playing it for the first time took my breathe away. I will cherish this instrument forever, If you are hesitating buying a Felipe conde, don’t, you will not regret it. Also Felipe couldn’t be more kinder and easier to deal with everything.

Allá por el año 1960, tendría yo poco más de 7 años, cuando escuché por primera vez una Guitarra Conde, estaba en clase de guitarra con mi primer Maestro Vicente Sánchez cuando nos hizo una visita el Maestro Gabino Canelo, portaba un estuche grande del que sacó una guitarra preciosa, anaranjada, mientras le decía a mi Maestro "mira Vicente es una Esteso, mira que maravilla", con unos acordes dió unos rasgueos y algunos picados, ese sonido jamás se me olvida! Madre mía cómo suena! Fue mi exclamación.
La guitarra flamenca es mi pasión, no solo el tocarla, es sus maderas, su construcción.
He tenido unas 40 guitarras, algunas mejores que otras y siempre, por suerte o por desgracia, la comparación y referente es el sonido de aquella Conde Sobrino de Esteso.
Hace algunos años he dado con "El Santo Grial", tengo una Conde de la C/. Felipe V que me recuerda ese sonido, cuando la hago sonar, es como si se aclopara el sonido con mi recuerdo, como el afinador cuando se pone verde porque la cuerda está afinada, la satisfacción es inexplicable, es mi guitarra, mi Conde con clavijeros de palillos.
"Algo tiene el agua cuando la bendicen", esta frase antigua viene al caso de el porqué la inmensa mayoría de los guitarristas flamencos tienen una guitarra Conde, ni más ni menos por ese sonido único, comprendo la influencia de los grandes, pero esto dura "dos minutos" creerme, si no suena no vale.
Enhorabuena Felipe por tu continuidad y aportación a la guitarra, no solo conservas la esencia, sino que la has mejorado y enriquecido en su construcción, también has transmitido tu sabiduría y pasión a tus queridos hijos, María y Felipe, tal y como hizo tu padre Mariano Conde.

El reciente modelo de guitarra "Reed de 1974" es sublime. Es todo lo que un concertista de guitarra puede querer. Lo tiene todo, volumen y proyección, claridad, diferenciación perfecta entre todas las voces. Su construcción experta junto con la exclusividad de las maderas empleadas hacen que tocarla sea una experiencia increíble para los que amamos la madera y el mundo de la sonanta. Me encantaría poder hacerme con una de las 25 que se construyan. Esas guitarras son ya un icono en la historia de la luthería.

Después de muchos años (30 años), pude cumplir mi sueño de comprar una guitarra Conde. Al no poder desplazarme a Madrid tuve que hacerlo mediante mail y teléfono. El trato fue muy agradable y por teléfono me atendió Don Felipe Conde en persona. Me ayudaron con todas las dudas y se notaba que eran los primeros interesados en que la guitarra llegara en condiciones óptimas. Después de un par de días llegó a casa y el instrumento es tan excepcional como esperaba. Un sueño hecho realidad.

Toco una guitarra Conde Hermanos modelo especial "Felipe V" construida en el año 1992, de Palo santo de Rio.

Es una guitarra que cada día que la toco me enamora más, no solo por su excepcional construcción, que es una preciosidad, sino por su sonido, ese sonido único de Conde.
Al principio, debido a su alta tensión, me costó algo adaptarme, pero poco a poco me di cuenta que la guitarra en sí me estaba ‘re-educando’ mi manera de tocar, haciendo mi toque más firme, mas seguro. Si me apetece hacer una ‘arzapua’ con fuerza, o abrir un acorde con rabia, el sonido no se rompe, todo lo contrario, me responde con una potencia que cada día me sorprende más.

On arrive face à une porte d'immeuble classique: parmi les noms Felipe Conde. On sonne. Depuis le bas de l'escalier un homme simple et aimable me fait signe d'entrer et me conduit dans une pièce avec des sièges et des fauteuils ; un jeune homme joue ; une magnifique guitare flamenca à la table orangée. Felipe Conde me faire le tour et visiter son atelier. Je tente de lui traduire en espagnol mon émotion ; en fait je suis très intimidé et j'aimerais me faire tout petit. Il me tend une guitare et je n'ose la prendre ; avec la chaleir extérieure je transpire à grosse gouttes et ca ruisselle sur la guitare. Je m'asseois et il me laisse au milieu de son atelier. Je joue un peu. Une bonne guitare c'est comme un bon vin, c'est vraiment autre chose. Les prix vont de 2000 à 20000 je nose imaginer le son dune guitare à 20000. Je lui demande si je peux faire des photos il me répond si et pause fort simplement à coté d'une guitare en construction. Ensuite, je reste encore un peu écouter son fils ou petit fils jouer de la guitare. Nous echangeons quelques mots ; ine famille de musiciens et luthier depuis 1915. Il prend une petite guitare dans la vitrine un peu spéciale. Im me dit de faore attention car elle très fragile. Je regrette de ne pas pouvoir mieux m'exprimer en espagnol pour echanger plus, mais il est bientôt 20 h et je ne veux pas abuser de leur amabilité. Muchas gracias

I visited Felipe Conde shop today with my family. We went there just hoping to see if my son could maybe get a peek inside the Luthier shop, if not at least a picture outside the shop. To our surprise they don't have street facing store, you have to ring a doorbell and they let you in, so I was skeptical they would even let us in. To our surprise Felipe Conde son, Felipe Jr.opened the door and I explained to him from the moment he opened the door that we were there just as fans because my son admire their guitars but that he could not yet afford them. To our surprise Felipe jr was very nice and actually let us inside their workshop and then Felipe Conde father came out and greeted us. We were a bit star strucked and asked if I could take a picture of my son with him, and he said let's take it inside the workshop and lead us into his workshop. He then introduced us to his daughter Maria and Pedro a Luthier that works with them that was also very kind and showed us the smell the wood and showed us a guitar he was working on. I then asked if I could take a picture of my son with Felipe Jr.and Maria and I was embarrassed since I saw Maria was working on a guitar and she stopped what she was doing to allow us to take a picture with her. They were all very welcoming and incredibly super nice, even though they knew we were there as fans of their guitars but not there to buy a guitar. I then explained to them my son wanted to get a flamenco guitar while on our trip and told them his budget to see what they would recommend and it was then that Felipe Conde said he actually had a brand called Alma that he doesn't make there in his shop but is made by another Luthier shop in Spain with his specs and would be around the budget we were looking for. He brought one out that thought would fit my son, it was a very nice guitar and sounded great. My son then asked him if he had a acoustic electric flamenco guitar on that brand and brought one out and also let him play it and my son was in a trance playing. I knew my son was too excited as was I from our experience, that I wanted him to think about it overnight and we agreed to decide in the morning. The moment we walked out my son said Dad I'm still in shock. I know my son will never forget that half hour we were there. Felipe Conde and his kids made that moment super special for my son. So I am very thankful and truly impressed by their level of customer service, it's this type of customer service that will make a 12 year old aspiring flamenco guitarist convert into a future customer for one of their hand made guitars in the near future.
