La puntuación la pongo no por el show que es muy bueno si no porque te bajan a una sala donde cierran las puertas hace un calor infernal por encima de lo permitido y llenan la sala cosa que hace que haga más calor

Muy divertido. Los artistas fueron excelentes y la sangría estaba deliciosa. Es un espacio pequeño e íntimo, que me encantó. Lo malo de eso fue que estaba bastante apretado, nos sentíamos aplastados en nuestras sillas. Pero estábamos muy cerca de los bailarines. El bailarín parecía nuevo, no era tan bueno y actuaba nervioso. Las mujeres fueron increíbles.

Increíble, una experiencia inolvidable tanto si amas o no el flamenco, no te dejará indiferente, pone los pelos de punta contemplar tanto arte y tanta esencia de siglos y siglos de historia

Muy buen espectáculo. Cantaor, bailaores y músicos muy profesionales. Muy bien organizado. El personal muy agradable y atento. No soy seguidora de este estilo musical y quería tener un contacto en vivo y ha sido muy grato.

Friendly staff. Seats are so close you can make eye contact with the dancers. Guitar solo in the middle was kind of long considering we went for flamenco.   One male and two female dancers each had their own style.

Great performance, and very intimate setting. Not a bad seat in the house. Definitely recommend checking out this show and venue. The venue alone is great and unique. Drink included with the performance, and no attempt (or even ability) to upsell you on dinner. Plenty of great dinner options around here to try instead. Also, good explanation before the show on Flamenco history in both Spanish and English (speaker was very fluent in both).

Es un gran espectáculo flamenco, incluso si no te gusta el flamenco, aqui empiezas a quererlo. Merece mucho la pena verlo.

Traveling to Spain many times with different fellow travelers. I’ve seen a lot of flamenco shows. This was by far the best. Super talented musicians and dancers. Really cool venue. I highly recommend it.

Very nice show, good place, nice drinks and friendly staff.
It is expensive and the show room is small, very hot, non ventilated and take care of pick pocket.

This was an interesting Flamenco experience for us. We’ve been to many shows and wanted to try a new place. It’s a small space where you have a great seat no matter where you sit and I really like that there is no food or drink service during the show. I really did love the venue.

However, I felt the show we went to wasn’t as great as it could’ve been. This isn’t about the dancing or music, the performers were very talented, but as it was an early show there were only about 10 people (including us) in the crowd. This isn’t the fault of the performers, but I did feel as though the show had a “rehearsal” feel to it. The guitarist tuned his instrument on stage…the transitions between the musical performers was awkward. There were a lot of uncomfortable pauses…I feel that at a busier showtime maybe it would’ve been better, but unfortunately I did not feel the show as a whole was worth the €50 per ticket we paid.

Just amazing and worth every cent. Intimate, professional, superb musicians and artists. Staff highly hospitable, proficient in multiple languages. Will and am recommending to all my close friends.

We happened to stumble across this place. They lady on the door was so helpful. All the staff were amazing and you get a free drink with your ticket purchase. The show was moving and stunning all at the same time. This type of show along with the explanation along side should be on your list!

No está del todo mal, aunq ni yo ni mis amigas volveremos.los camareros, porteros, etc.genial! Super amables y majos, ropero gratis.pero la música deja mucho q desear. Apenas ponen música actual, creo q escuché máximo 5 canciones y creo q me he excedido, pero bueno, supongo q es el rollo q lleva el local puesto q la edad media de la gnt superaba los 40. Es sólo el motivo x el q no nos gustó.

Muy cerca de la Plaza de Sol de Madrid. Es un local amplio de varias plantas, muy cuidado y especializado en pequeñas actuaciones y obras de teatro, todas ellas relacionadas con la música y el baile flamenco.
Las obras se realizan en un pequeño escenario y el público está a poco más de un metro de los actores y actrices, la música y el baile se sienten muy cerca.
Mi visita a este local fue para ver la obra de "Amor de Don Perlimplín con Belisa en su jardín" protagonizada por Monica Tello y su elenco. Muy interesante y entretenido, siempre teniendo en cuenta que no es un gran teatro y que tanto las obras como las actuaciones tienen un fondo más cercano y de normalidad. Durante algunas actuaciones se puede entrar o salir y consumir en mesas.

Une cave qui peut accueillir environ 60 personnes maximum.

Cela dure pile une heure et on ne voit pas le temps passer.

This is my third time visiting Spain. I have seen plenty of Flamenco shows.and I have enjoyed them all. I have been to Flamenco shows in Southern Spain that were in small, cramped basements where the dancers, singers and musicians are up close and personal. The Essential Flamenco show meets all of this criteria. Many don't know but that's how these shows were performed and The Essential Flamenco follows this tradition. In fact every show is different. You might have different musical instruments and performers too. Even the flavor of the show changes from performance to performance. So enjoy a drink and sit back and enjoy the show. Remember not to applaud until it is obvious that that particular song and dance is over. You don't want to distract the performers who use clapping to keep time.

It was an amazing experience and probably one of the best flamenco show I have ever seen! We could see the passion of the artists that gave an amazing energy in the cave, it felt very intimate. (as every one was very smily, natural and really enjoyed what they were doing) We had an interesting short introduction about flamenco in the beginning wich led to a more meaningful experience. Worth the price

Powerful and inspirational! This was my first time exposing to Flamenco and it was amazing. I felt the intensity of the music and the history pouring out to us/audience. I highly recommend for any first timers to go check it out because it's so worth it.

An intense and passionate flamenco story set in a historical basement lit with emotion and fire. The artists were storytellers of pain, happiness, suffering, joy, and love. We've never experienced such a spectacular performance and would highly recommend this to everyone and anyone looking to learn and experience flamenco for the first time. I'd go again my next time in Madrid.

My first flamenco show, it was great. Loved the venue, super intimate. For an hour it felt like I was in a different world. Recommend it to everyone.

Today I fell in love with flamingo. Super intense and beautiful show. Perfect intimate atmosphere and very engaging musicians and dancers. My number one experience in Madrid!

We had a great time here. The acoustics are perfect and the performance was spectacular. They do a good job of explaining flamenco history and the show reflects it. I highly recommend.

Un lugar polivalente en las noches de fin de semana, el Dj tiene un curioso gusto respecto a cómo se debe mezclar la música, lo mismo te coloca reguetton y a la siguiente David Bisbal que te coloca los éxitos de los 90.

Hay personas de todas las edades, y es como una caja de sorpresas, no sabes qué va a deparar la noche.

Buen show pero bastante caro.

El show es bueno. Sin embargo, esperaba que la calidad fuese mejor, dado que es de los tablaos más caros de Madrid y solamente es una hora. Está genial para turistas que quieran conocer que es el flamenco. Sin embargo, para gente que ya tenga experiencia, como era nuestro caso, hay mejores tablaos o espectáculos en Madrid.

Perfect place for couples or families because this was an unforgettable show full of life, feeling, expressionism, and amazingness. The entire group was so amazing together and the acoustics player, guitar players, singer and both the female and male dancers all got their own solos which was fantastic. Such talented people! Get their early so you can sit right in front of the stage that’s so close to you, you can touch it and literally feel the sweat off the dancers while their turning and dancing across the stage. A definite memory both my boyfriend and I won’t forget for the rest of our lives!

Lovely night of music and dance performance. Really enjoyed the performance. The venue is very small and intimate and you can sit very close to the performance.

You don't have to be in Madrid to catch a good Flamenco show. Having said that, watching these guys in a tiny cave-like quaint "theater " is an exceptional experience. If you come to Madrid this a MUST. Plus, tixs are very affordable.

This was a wonderful and energized performance. The dancers were wonderful, the vocals were good and the musicians were great. Highly recommend in you are in Madrid. The venue is a bit small but the view is perfect making you feel you are part of the performance.

Best location in central Madrid.
Very friendly hosts at the entrance and at the bar.
Great flamenco dance and the music as each performer showed off their skills and cheered the crowds to screams after each individual performance.
Have to go back to Madrid just for this show.

Muy buena acústica, sitio cómodo e íntimo. Quizás un poco caluroso, pero yo casi siempre tengo calor, así que supongo que estará bien para el reto de mundo. Para alguien como yo que no llevaba muchas expectativas, muy buen espectáculo. Y mí acompañante, a quien sí que le gusta más el flamenco, también disfrutó mucho

Intimate show. We went on a Wed night so it wasn't too crowded. Talented team of (6) performers but lead female dancer steals the show. It's my only flamenco show yet so nothing to compare to but would recommend.

The performers were really great especially the dancers. They were very passionate! I wish there was a bit more diversity in the dances but non the less the dancers are very talented and in time with each other. I would recommend for sure.

Soy de Madrid y el espectáculo me pareció alucinante. Sin duda algo que hacer en Madrid, tanto si eres español como si no, te dejará boquiabierto.

Fuimos con mi novia, luego de leer las buenas reseñas en Tripadvisor, y el precio nos pareció caro pero razonable. No recomiendo para nada este tablao, incomodo, los artistas parecían poco motivados, sólo dos en escena. Me dejo un sabor amargo, esperaba otra cosa, más sentimiento, pasión, lo que el flamenco debe transmitir, el auténtico.
