He mandado emails y nadie me responde. NO COMPREÍS AQUÍ.
Did I just get ripped off? I asked for. 5 x nectarines, 1Kg of Chestnuts and 1Kg of madarin oranges and was charged 28.98 Euros. The owner had to be asked in order to give me a receipt. I had to ask to receive a receipt but he threw away the "other half" of the receipt which had the items I bought listed in more detail (I wonder why he did that.in Spain you always get TWO receipts). I have my suspicions about this place. I know El Corte Ingles 4 minutes walk away is much cheaper for roughly the same quality and has better opening hours. Last time I ever go there. You reckon he gives the same prices for the locals? I am actually a local of sorts but I mean at least those that 'seem local' to him or he knows that they are. I've included the receipt below.does the receipt seem like a fair price for the items to you? He said that the nectarines were imported from Chile which seems true for this time of year but still at 3.15 euros each, that seems a little steep. Having stated all this, I haven't sampled what I bought yet; the items may be the best I've ever had. Who knows. Update: I sampled the nectarines, chestnuts and mandarin oranges and the quality is good to above average but the price does not warrant the quality of the products, I would expect excellent quality and beyond for that price and it was not so. In conclusion it's a small business that charges high prices to justify it's survival rather than to reflect the quality of it's goods. I can't remember seeing any price labels on the boxes on the stalls beside the fruit etc so it looks like a tourist trap or something.
