¡Trabajar con Jake y Genessa fue un sueño! Encontré su trabajo en Pinterest y no sabía que mi entonces novio, ahora mi prometido, ya los reservó para una sesión de fotos de compromiso sorpresa en España. La Costa Brava, donde me propuso matrimonio mi prometido, estaba a una hora en coche del centro de Barcelona y Jake tuvo la amabilidad de recogernos y llevarnos allí. Eso sí, no tenía idea de que era fotógrafo, ya que pensé que era nuestro "guía turístico que tomaba fotos" En el momento en que llegamos a los Jardines de Marimurtra, comenzó a tomar fotos y nos indicaba cómo posar y nos hizo sentir tan bien.cómodo, lo cual fue muy importante, especialmente porque mi prometido es un chico tímido al que no le gusta tomar fotos. Además, me gustaría señalar que Jake no solo fue muy complaciente, sino que también es una persona muy genuina. Me las arreglé para formar ampollas en la punta de mis pies, del tamaño de una uva grande en cada pie, y no fueron divertidos, al punto que ya no podía caminar. Me sentí muy mal por perder un tiempo precioso, pero él fue muy tranquilizador. Me ofreció sus pantuflas y hasta me ofreció llevármelas a casa para no tener que caminar más con tacones. También nos ofreció a mi prometido y a mí bebidas de su hielera y también se aseguró de que cuidaran a mi prometido. EN GENERAL: LO MEJOR! Íbamos a la siguiente ubicación, pero insistió en hacer un desvío a la farmacia para asegurarse de que me sintiera cómodo. Mi prometido y yo no podíamos hablar español y él también ayudó con mucho gusto en la farmacia. Cuando llegamos a la siguiente ubicación, ya estaba agotado por el calor y experimentaba mareos, así que le dije que probablemente solo podía hacer 30 minutos más y fue muy comprensivo. El segundo lugar fue tan pintoresco que me sentí mucho mejor y logré quedarme más de 30 minutos. Luego nos llevó de regreso a Barcelona y mencionamos que al día siguiente nos dirigimos a Madrid, la ciudad donde él y Genessa residen. Le pedimos recomendaciones de restaurantes y nos envió una lista de Google de los restaurantes que recomendaba mucho. En general, realmente nos encantó trabajar con él, no solo era un profesional, sino una persona genuina que se preocupa por sus clientes. Nuestras fotos resultaron tan hermosas que casi todos nuestros amigos y familiares dijeron que se veían muy editoriales Nunca pude conocer a Genessa en persona, pero es un alma dulce y una madre cariñosa. We had such a great experience working with Jake and Genessa for our engagement pictures in Madrid! From the start they were both very professional and very helpful in helping us craft our vision for the shoot.

Once the day of the shoot came, Jake was our guy and he made the shoot super simple and fun. We are not used to being photographed at all, but Jake really helped us feel comfortable and guided us throughout the shoot. Along with that, the spots he picked out were beautiful and made for a great background of Madrid.

We finally got the photos today and we couldn’t be any happier with how they came out, they’re truly beautiful and they really show the vision Jake has behind the camera. Overall, this was a complete 5 star experience, thanks so much guys!

I found Jake & Genessa through Instagram and picked them to capture our special day because I loved their love story described on their website. Additionally, their pricing was very reasonable. Through out the planning process they were very transparent and helped me plan the perfect surprise proposal for our trip to Spain. They went above and beyond and did a great job keeping the engagement a secret. They made us feel comfortable in front the camera, had the best jokes, and brought out the best smiles in my Fiancé and I. We are finally coming down from Cloud 9 following our wedding, and I just had to write to say how INCREDIBLE Jake & Genessa are!

We first talked to Jake back in 2019 and from the first impression he was warm, friendly and extremely professional. Due to the pandemic our first wedding date was postponed, then our second, and throughout the rescheduling, replanning and stress Jake & Gennessa were so kind, sympathetic, responsive and generous – we were bowled over by their warmth in the face of what were very tumultuous times for everyone, including them.

We finally had our dream wedding in Spain last month and Genessa was AMAZING! Her ability to really ‘see’ a beautiful shot is unreal, and her patience with two very awkward souls in front of the camera had us feeling so at ease, so quickly, that we have since seen stunning shots that we had no idea she had captured at the time. All of our guests commented on how professional she was; how courteous and friendly, and how hard she worked throughout the day.

In short, if you are looking for the VERY BEST photographers you can find; look no further! My husband and I, and our families, have agreed that choosing Jake & Genessa to capture our special day was one of the best decisions we made. The final shots are simply beautiful; candid and honest, and better than we could ever have imagined. We have laughed, cried and relished in all of the amazing memories they captured.

I had such an amazing experience during our photo shoot in Madrid. We have contacted Jake just a few days before our trip, and with a prompt response, Jake were quickly sending us all information, including package options, schedule and answering tons of questions I had. Jake is not only talented but also passionate. During our photo day, he provided us great suggestions how to pose in front of the camera. More importantly, he made us feel comfortable and enjoying. I booked an engagement photo shoot after getting a recommendation and seeing their Instagram. I luckily booked them four days before the shoot, and they were great with making accommodations and walking me through the whole process. This was great coming from the United States to Spain! Jake was the photographer, and he was very professional and easy going throughout the session. He captured every moment and made taking pictures feel natural. They edited and provided us with so many quality pictures. We were in awe how good they turned out! I recommend them for any kind of photography needs you may have.

If you have any doubts at all, just say yes and choose Jake + Genessa! We feel incredibly lucky that we found J+G for our engagement photos in Madrid. The package was a wonderful value, and they were so easy to work with. We contacted them on instagram, and they were very quick in responding, and we received the contract soon after with all the necessary details.

We did an initial video consultation with Jake who would be our photographer for the shoot and laid out some details of how the shoot would go and where all we were interested in shooting. This was helpful to meet Jake and to get a sense of what it might be like working with him, and he was very open to any ideas we had and offered his own ideas as well. We were new to working with photographers, so we instilled quite a bit of trust in him, and it all worked out!

On the actual photoshoot itself, we had a blast! Jake was super friendly and funny, and it honestly just felt we were meeting a friend we hadn't seen in years. Lots of jokes and laughter, all made for a very fun couple of hours with him. I had warned him we would need help with posing, and he instructed most of the poses for our photos. I can't express how much fun we had during our session with Jake and how satisfied we were with this whole experience. I knew that before even receiving our photos that they would turn out wonderful because they do such amazing work. Now that we actually have received the photos, I can say that it is exactly as we had hoped for and more! Thanks J+G Photography for such a memorable experience. Looking through our photos is like living through the surprise proposal/engagement all over again.

I don’t even know how to start with this review. There are so many wonderful things about the process of the photoshoot that I don’t even know which one to say first.

Jake and Genessa were the nicest people since day one. Their kindness and patience made us decide that they were the perfect team for our first photoshoot. It took us a while to decide about the date of the photoshoot, the place, outfits, etc. And both of them were with us every step of the way, helping us to find places and the perfect date. The suggested places, times, poses, outfits and made the photoshoot session and magical one.

We felt comfortable. We felt we knew Jake from years ago. Not to mention the pictures. We LOVED them. It’s so nice working with people that encourage you to love yourself and to feel comfortable in your skin. They are so so kind. There are no words to describe their kindness. I had a surprise engagement planned with Jake and Genessa in Madrid and it was the best decision I made. I had multiple sessions with Jake prior to my trip to narrow down the best locations and plan out how the engagement would take place. We were only in Madrid for a couple days and we noticed that the day the shoot was scheduled for was forecasted for heavy rain. Jake and Genessa graciously allowed us to move the shoot early one day to get some sunshine. Outside of the flexibility due to weather, Jake made the overall shoot fun and comfortable. It was our first professional photo shoot so it was a bit awkward but Jake made us relax and laugh to bring out what we are naturally like together. The photos themselves turned out great and we were extremely impressed with how Jake captured the moment. We highly recommend working with Jake and Genessa!

Jake and Genessa were amazing! They really made us feel comfortable during our elopement in Madrid. They both have such warm personalities and you feel as if you have known them for years when working with them! They took us to some beautiful places to take pictures and made our elopement special. They are very fast with getting pictures back, we had a few samples the next day and we got the rest of our pictures in a little less than a week! Jake & Genessa made our dreams a reality. They shot our surprise engagement at Crystal Palace at Retiro Park. Jake was easy to find and captured every moment flawlessly. What can I say about Jake and Genessa that isn't already reflected in there amazing photos! Well that they are amazing as people too, the kind of people that you actually want to spend time with, not only on your wedding. We had a super intimate wedding of 2 (no family or friends) we wanted it to be a day for us. Spending that day with Jake also was so much fun and super easy. Would no change anything about my wedding day and Jake is so much part of that experience.

We loved our engagement photo session! We were nervous about looking uncomfortable and awkward because of who we are, but jake managed to capture us perfectly! All the photos look so natural and effortless. We had a fabulous shoot and walked away loving sooo many of the photos we were sent. We love that we were sent tons of options too! Worst part is is that we have so many favorites and need to narrow it down for our save the dates! We highly recommend booking with jake and genessa!

From the very beginning Jake and Genessa were the best. When we found them on Instagram we immediately fell in love with their photography and knew we wanted them to capture our special moments. With traveling restrictions due to Covid, Jake and Genessa were always responsive and flexible in working with us (and this is all prior to the actual photoshoot experience!). They really listened to what we wanted and helped us choose a place for our engagement photoshoot.

The photoshoot itself was great! With such a special moment, there are always some nerves, but Jake and Genessa made sure we felt comfortable, calm, confident and most importantly happy. They truly captured our love and happiness. My mom even tagged along and they made her feel just as welcomed. To say that I am obsessed with our photos is an understatement, since the day we got them I see them 20 times a day. Jake and Genessa have an eye for detail and for capturing the best moments. We absolutely LOVED the wedding photos that Jake & Genessa took but even more than that, we just loved the experience of working with them! We originally hired them before COVID and then, when our wedding was delayed (thrice!) we got to know each other over Instagram. They are the cutest, friendliest couple and we love that they are now part of our lives! They took seriously amazing photos and we couldn't have asked for anything better! If you don't hire them to take your photos, you will regret it!

The cutest and most professional photographers. They care about customers and make sure you feel comfortable posing, even if you are not photogenic. What I really like is that you come out naturally and they take pictures all the time, also making Gif videos and nice things out of photos, they are very creative.and what s very important, they are very fast in sending the pictures haha. Everything you need, I highly recommend!

Son dos profesionales de arriba a abajo. Su trabajo es impecable. Ya los conocíamos de la boda de unos amigos y el trabajo que hacen tanto en la boda como en post producción es increíble. Sin duda, los escogería en más eventos. Pena que no los conocí para mi pedida de mano, aunque sí los cogí para mí preboda y merece mucho la pena escogerlos porque no solo son buenos fotografos, sino que te la hacen pasar bien (yo no soy fotogénico y mi esposa es bastante tímida) y son genial su trato para que te la pases bien durante la sesión fotográfica. Me encanta tanto su trabajo que si alguien se casa, les recomiendo a ellos siempre.

La sesión que tuvimos fue en familia y en nuestra casa. Jake buscó captar momentos cotidianos del día a día para obtener naturalidad. Eso era importante para él y también para nosotros.
A pesar de que nuestro hijo, de año y medio, estaba muy irritable y cansado, consiguió sacar buenas instantáneas (todo un reto).
Nos pidió mandarle unas fotos de las diferentes estancias unos días antes, lo que demuestra profesionalidad (entiendo que buscaba prepararse su trabajo, su escenario y sus ideas).
Muy contentos con el resultado.

Han superado nuestras expectativas, durante la sesión nos hicieron sentir únicos y muy cómodos, hacen las fotos de manera natural lo que es genial porque no nos tuvimos que preocupar por posar y etc, fuimos con un poco de miedo porque no somos fotogénicos en general pero han conseguido hacer que salgamos muy bien en las fotos y hacer de cada instante único y especial. No podemos estar mas contentos️

Un trabajo espectacular. Mi pareja y yo nunca antes nos habíamos hecho ninguna sesión de fotos, pero con Jake y Genessa fue todo muy fácil y sencillo, nos hicieron sentir cómodos desde el primer momento. A parte de ser una pareja de profesionales, son personas cercanas, capaces de crear un ambiente cálido con el cual consiguen que te olvides de la cámara y disfrutes realmente del momento, y eso luego se ve reflejado en las fotos. El resultado fue maravilloso, unas fotos preciosas que sobre todo lograron lo que buscábamos: reflejarnos como pareja. 100% recomendados.

Am fost uimit cand am primit toate pozele de la nunta intr-o saptamana dupa nunta, si ne-o oferit disponibilitatea de a vorbi cu ei la orice ora despre orice intrebare am fi avut. Nu am cuvinte, sunt niste persoane super de treaba si ca persoane si ca serviciile care le presteaza.

Jake and Genessa are the nicest photographers I've ever met. They are very kind and very friendly. Regarding the services provided by them, they are very professional, very punctual and very fast.
We were amazed when we received all the pictures from the wedding in a week after the wedding, and she offered us the availability to talk to them at any time about any question we had. I have no words, they are super nice people both as people and as the services they provide.
I recommend it to anyone! They are the coolest!

The best! We did a shoot in downtown Madrid on our vacation and it turned out amazing. Genessa is only the nicest person ever (sorry we didn’t meet Jake but I bet he’s awesome too).
