Experiencia muy agradable. Tengo que probar 3 vinos, un blanco y 2 tintos. Aprendí mucho sobre el vino español, anfitrión muy informado. Me hubiera gustado comprar uno de los que probamos pero se acabaron muy rápido. En definitiva una velada interesante y divertida.

La tarde del día que llegamos a Madrid estábamos buscando una botella de vino blanco frío para disfrutar con la cena. Tres lugares no tenían vino frío; Finalmente encontramos Madrid y Darracott. El caballero que nos atendió escuchó atentamente la descripción de mi esposa de lo que queríamos, repitió todos los criterios y recomendó una botella fría que resultó perfecta. Le encanta el vino, tiene un gran conocimiento del vino y está orientado al cliente. Gran experiencia.

La tienda es bonita y la selección interesante, sin embargo no compro más a menudo porque tienen la costumbre de no marcar precios y resulta cansado tener que preguntar cada vez que te interesa una botella. Uno de los placeres de comprar vino es el de cotillear a placer, como si estuvieras en una biblioteca, y uno de los factores s que se valoran es el precio. Entiendo que se ahorren el trabajo de etiquetar pero resulta incómodo para comprar. Es una sugerencia.

Esta es mi tienda de vinos favorita en Madrid. Personal amable, gran selección y una variedad de vinos de diferentes partes de España y en el extranjero. ¡Siempre un tema interesante para hablar!

Back home, Opened the "La Sabina" de Las Moradas de San Martin. Wish we could buy there a box full of bottles of that kind.

Excellent wine shop in the center of Madrid. Their wine tasting events are fun, educational, and it's a great way to explore different kinds of wine (3 per session) in Spain.

Owners and managers are very personable and knowledgeable, and they will help you dive into winery even if you aren't familiar with it. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing, they know their stuff for sure. I have done countless wine tasting experiences in Franshoek and this was very thorough and in-depth, learned a lot, and Spanish wine is delicious.

Tasting experience was outstanding. You taste three wines that take you out of the Rioja rut (which is not a bad rut, just a rut) and give you a chance to try something you might not have chosen off the shelf. They also did a good job of educating the group about Spanish wines and the system of classification and regions. Smashing blokes from the UK run this shop, but they have lived in Spain for many years and truly know their Spanish wines. Would return for a second chance at trying something interesting.

We’ve booked a wine tasting with three Spanish wines - it was such a great experience! The host was super funny and an expert in the field for sure. The wines were very good and we even bought a bottle in the shop. Highly recommend for everyone that is interested in wine and is looking for an amazing local experience!

Booked a wine tour with these guys. Roque was amazing and really listened to what we liked and gave us different ones to try. He talked with us through the whole experience and he was insightful and funny! We bought all 3 bottles he recommended! He taught us more about wine then we thought was possible! A few days later we went back in to get more bottles and we met Luke. He was great with recommendations! Keep up the great work guys! We highly recommend them! Ordered a bottle of wine for my friend as a gift. After almost two weeks received a notification that the order was shipped, but after one week my friend hasn't received anything. After one email, two phones calls from me they delivered. No explanation were given. In total it took 3 weeks to deliver the order and extra efforts from my side.

Update: appreciate the feedback from the owner below, it is reasonable. Changing the rating from 1 to 4. Please improve communication with a client regarding status of the order, so as to manage the expectations and a client knows what is happening.

Absolutely amazing! We coincidentally found this fantastic wine shop by renting the airbnb in the same building. The shop has a georgeous wine selection. We also joined the wine tasting event, which was by far the most informative one we had in various countries (also fun and not pretentious). Kudos to Luke and Roque!

Luke was so welcoming and entertaining. We had a wonderful time! Learned a lot and enjoyed good company. I would definitely schedule a visit if you can!

Nous avons fait deux dégustations pendant notre séjour à Madrid: vins et vermouth. Dans les deux cas, ce fut de fabuleuses expériences. Produits délicieux, explications intéressantes et ludiques par Roque. Bref, je recommande très, très fortement.

Encantadora tienda de vinos en pleno centro de Madrid, con una estupenda y amplia variedad de vinos, vermús y hasta sakes! La atención al público de sus propietarios es magnífica. No hay que perder la oportunidad de hacer una cata de vinos… súper recomendable!

Thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting experience, an absolute hoot from the off. I'm a self confessed bottom of the shelf Lidl alcoholic when it comes to wine, but Luke has definitely opened up my thinking on Spanish wines and wine tasting in general. Probably the best QPR (ooh get me) you can buy in Madrid.
Plus you get to meet some like minded, interesting travellers in the process. 100% recommend. And I even bought a bottle we tasted.an absolute steal too. Luke i salute you and we'll probably be back for another bottle of the Honoro Vera, cheers.

We had a fun, educational, and slightly tipsy time learning about Spanish wines, regions, traditions, and wine making methods. The Daily Tasting was worth it so much that we signed up for the vermouth tastings the next day, which was even better.

Came here for an Airbnb experience and had a great time learning about different regions of Spanish wine and how to properly evaluate different attributes. The store itself also has a small selection of beer and liquors. Definitely worth a stop!

We had a wine tasting here to celebrate a birthday and they couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable and fun. They really know their wines and promote Spanish wine. I've also ordered a box of wine for a birthday with this shop and it was lovely. We will definitely use Madrid and Darracott as our go-to wine store in Madrid in the future.

Es un sito que cualquier vinero que esté por Madrid tiene que visitar. La selección de vinos es muy amplia y los chicos son muy agradables y te asesoran genial según lo que busques y el presupuesto que tengas. Además organizan catas personalizadas para grupos tanto en el propio local como online a un precio muy ajustado, si estás pensando en hacer algo así merece la pena preguntarles al respecto.

My favorite place to sip & learn in all of Madrid! The team here makes wine tastings fun and delicious for everyone. The multilingual staff (Spanish, English, Italian, etc.) know their stuff and will teach you ALL about Spanish wines and beyond. Plus, they are very entertaining and make wine study really fun & approachable. I especially love their Thursday night tastings. I go as often as I can as a local and always discover something new and fabulous (usually bringing home a bottle or two). I send visiting friends here as well as go with local friends regularly. Truly a gem of a place!

This is a really good option if you want to do something really interesting in Madrid. I did a wine tasting with friends few months ago and I'm looking forward for the next one. The owners are so friendly and professional. They have a huge variety of wine and also of others interestings drinks.

Great wine-tasting! Great shop! I live in Madrid and thought I more or less knew about Spanish wine. But very often restaurants and bars don't have a wide range of different types of Spanish wines and really I was living in the dark. There is such variety! And the lads in the shop describe it including great anecdotes. Not the normal stuffy wine tasting experience at all.

We spent last Saturday evening enjoying a wine tasting of a really good selection of some Spanish wines. One of the owners gave us good information about them. It helped us to appreciate better the wines. We tried wines from different vineyards across Spain, not only the commonly known Rioja. Plus, the place has a cosy but trendy ambient.

El dueño es simpático y atento, pero la relación calidad - precio no es buena. No sé que encuentran los visitantes para puntuar tan alto. Ya sé que para una cata hay que ir comido, pero también sé de lo que hablo pues he ido a muchas catas y he vivido la cultura del vino desde siempre en mi familia. Tres vinos sin acompañamiento alguno. Si eres español no encontrarás ahí lo que buscas. Es una tienda de vinos, nada más.

Excellent stop for both wine tasting and stocking your cellar. Wines from Spain are prominently featured and prices are better than many other wine shops. Make it part of your regular shopping if you’re local or a specific stop if you’re a visitor.
