B&B Somosaguas is a nice apartment, we had a good bed, the location was also good and an adequate breakfast was provided. For families with children however there are potentially mortal dangers.
In the bedroom where we stayed there was a 27 x 120 cm piece of glass protecting the surface of the top of shelving beneath the room window at a low height (approx. 83 cm high).
This glass shelf floated on the shelf and could slide around with virtually no effort at all. It was not glued down with silicon as it needed to be, it did have anti -slide pads that could have helped with keeping it in place. A child 21 months old could (and did) move it around easily.
This large piece of sliding glass was made of regular glass that when dropped breaks into large knifelike pieces with sharp cutting edges. It was not made of tempered glass which when broken shatters into many small cubes none of which could present a mortal danger.
My son moved this glass and it fell and broke into large dangerous pieces of glass in a confined area between the window and the bed. Shoes are not allowed here. It is a miracle that he did not chop his foot in half or cut himself severely.
I cleaned the glass and was chastised by the owner for putting on my shoes to do so without cutting myself.
Instead of an apology I received a bill for tempered glass (the kind the owner should have had in place but did not have).
Normal glass costs 22€ for these dimensions but I was charged 85€.

I was billed yesterday and a complaint filed by the owner today to Booking.com that payment was not yet received. I had no intention to make this public hoping that with good will the owner would correct this dangerous imprudence but now feel this is not likely.

La relación calidad precio es magnífica. No hay que confundirse. No es un hotel, ni una pensión es un bed& breakfast, es decir una casa, en la que tienes tu habitación, tu baño privado y puedes usar las zonas comunes. Además Jill prepara unos desayunos deliciosos y variados. En la época actual, en la que las zonas comunes de los hoteles son un riesgo, creo que es la mejor opción para pasar una temporada en Madrid. La zona es muy tranquila y está bien comunicada por transporte público. El alojamiento muy muy limpio y la anfitriona muy atenta. Repetiré sin duda.

OJO, MUCHO CUIDADO! Vergonzosa experiencia. Reservo hace 3 meses en su establecimiento, hablo con ella confirmando y ningún problema. A 24 horas me cancela la reserva alegando que no hay espacio suficiente en las habitaciones. Una vergüenza absoluta!
Es muy curioso que coincidiera la cancelación con la celebración del Orgullo, cuando más altos estaban los precios de las habitaciones en Madrid

Buen alojamiento. Tened en cuenta que es un piso compartido, aunque tienes baño individualizado en la habitación
