Unilabs - Doctor Castelo

The nurse is super attentive and kind, and she did draw my blood on the first try although I have very fine veins. BUT I left with a huge painful bruise on my arm which has like never happened to me before. Not sure if it's a common thing here in Spain though.

Solo una chica para todo el trabajo (recepción + atención al paciente), muy simpática eso si.

Estábamos varias personas en la cola, la última es llegar se cuela para ‘preguntar una duda’ (que no era una duda, quería sus resultados sin esperar la cola) y en vez de decirle que espere la cola, va y la atiende antes que al resto.

Han pasado más de 3 horas desde que nos hicimos el test, no nos han enviado el sms, nos da error a la hora de registrarnos para verlo por la web y el teléfono solo está operativo en horario de mañana hasta las 12.

Amabilísimo servicio, por parte de la chica de administración y la enfermera. Enfermera pincha como nadie en el mundo.

Aparte de ser súper cariñosa.

El trato es excelente, he realizado ya por cinco años mis exámenes médicos en este laboratorio. Todo el personal es muy amable y los resultados están el día que te indican.

Despues de estar en otras clínicas, puedo decir que el servicio que ofrecen en este laboratorio es impecable.rápido, eficiente.entre a las 7 30 de la mañana salí en 3 minutos! Disinfectan bien entre pacientes y dan el certificado de pcr en inglés y castellano para viajar. Los resultados me los han dado el mismo día! Spent almost 2 hours in a queue for a covid test, was really cold outside, and the staff was taking too long to register my docs to get the results. They don't have the option to get results by email. They said that I would get a text message with my results, I've never got the text message. Asked for the results in English and got it in Spanish. By the way, had to call them to check my results, as I didn't get the text message with the details.

Una vergüenza el sistema que usan ora descargar el informe, tengo que ir o llamar todas las veces, CÁMBIALO POR DIOS!

Los sábados por la mañana pone que es hasta las 11.45h y a las 11.30h no te deja subir el vigilante de seguridad al laboratorio porque dice que ya no cogen a nadie que si no no se van a su hora. Deberían especificar esto en su web para que cada uno se organice y no cuentes con el tiempo justo y menos con un bebe de 2 años desde la otra punta de Madrid. Y para aparcar complicado no, lo siguiente. Para no repetir.

Worst service. Didn't receive my result after 72 hours and nobody picks up the phone. I would not recommend this unilabs.

This review is for the Unilabs in Madrid's Ibiza neighborhood by El Retiro; Calle Almagro.

I arrived at 7: 30pm and it closed at 8pm. There was no line and the gentleman out front and I talked about the 3 day window that I have for American Airlines. Inside, I filled out the form and immediately a young lady was ready to do my rapid antigen test. It was about 33 euros, cheaper than other places. I went on a Wednesday night for a Saturday morning flight to the U. S, within the 3 day (not 72 hour window) that American Airlines allows as of now.

As they were closing, the receptionist gave me the paperwork and told me what I needed so that I could check out the results myself online. Since I had read negative reviews about that process, I was extra careful and caught that she had misspelled my last name, which I told her about and she immediately updated.

The next morning, I created my account and it said that the analysis was blocked.

Here is where my experience differs from other reviews: the customer help email were fast and amazing!

1) I immediately use the help email address to write a message in Spanish about my blocked test results. 7 minutes later I get a response apologizing and saying the results are ready. I download the form.

2) I discover that my birthdate is wrong on the form (since the U. S.and Espana switch the order of the day and month. Be sure that you talk to the receptionist about birthdate to make sure that it is entered correctly.) I also discover that there is no time of the test provided on the results form. Which means that they will use 8am (with verifly on American airlines) and that is outside the 3 day window. So, I email a second time about both issues. Within 10 minutes, my birthdate had been corrected and the time of the test had been added to the PDF by a kind lady at the email address named Alba.

So, while a slightly stressful experience and with a few hiccups, it seems like it will be fine. The pdf they produce provides the info that I need to fly American Airlines (name, birthdate, passport number, name of lab, day of test, and I asked for time of the test to be added). Now I'm 2 days ahead of my flight and have already uploaded the covid results test to be processed in verifly. (its pending, hoping that this will be accepted)

Definitely take this test as early within the window as possible and contact them via email ASAP w questions or concerns.

Très très bonne qualité! Très pro dans le prélèvement, nous l'avons fait à 10h30 et nous avions les résultats vers 20h le jour même.

Antigen tests are not available here. Staff were friendly and advised me to go to Calle Juan Esplandiú 15 instead.

No antigen test! PCR test result takes more than 48 hours to return. Don’t go to this lab for travel test.

They don't perform antigen tests so don't go there. I specifically emailed unilabs with our request for tests to ask about locations, and their email said: go to any. And they behave like you should know or should have known, even after you show them their own email. Very annoying to go through this after one long flight, waiting to take another the next day

I paid for a COVID antigen test on the Unilabs website. This location was listed as a site. I called to confirm opening hours. When I arrived for the test I was informed that they do not do COVID antigen tests, and never have.
I was told to go to a remote location much further from Central Madrid.

Although they said on their website they are open during the Easter holidays, they were closed. Around 10 people wanted to do the test there. It was quite a nuisance to take a cab there and to find out that they were closed. Therefore, would not recommend

Pues es barato y me llegaron los resultados el mismo dia en menos de 12horas, muy recomendable.

Nos hemos hecho un test serológico covid-19 ayer (agosto 2020) en Unilabs calle Doctor Castelo tras comprarlos online en Melio. Y hemos tenido los resultados en poco más de 24 horas, aunque avisa de un plazo de 48 horas en la recepción. La atención en recepción fue rápida, resolutiva y muy amable. Quien realizó la analítica fue muy simpática y eficiente. Por las reseñas negativas fuimos a las 07: 15, abren a las 07: 30, por miedo a las colas. Había 5 personas ya pero fue rápido y la espera no llegó a los 30 minutos. Cuando nos fuimos sólo había 4 personas esperando. La experiencia ha sido muy buena tanto con Melio como con este laboratorio en Calle Doctor Castelo 10. REPETIMOS ANTES DE NAVIDADES 2020. Había algo más de gente esperando, pero muy bien también.

Una auténtica vergüenza. Nos dijeron que podíamos recoger las pruebas de 12: 00 a 17: 00. Además en el resguardo ponía esa franja horaria con lo que con gran esfuerzo me acerco para obtener los resultados lo antes posible. Me presento a las 13: 39, llamo al timbre, les oigo hablar, escucho como mueven la mirilla y no abren. Con sorpresa observo que han puesto un cartel y el horario ha cambiado. Solo se puede recoger pruebas hasta las 15: 00. Después de aguantar una hora de tráfico y no poder aparcar me humillan sin ni siquiera abrir la puerta y dar una explicación. Hay miles de centros para hacerse pruebas, este es vergonzoso.

Dont know if they are good for doing PCR tets, we did not manage to go to that point.
Arrived 1h15 before closure, there was 30 people before us. People were coming in about 1 every 5-10min.which gives an idea of the processing speed. After 15min they started giving up stickers for the people in line, and after reaching the mid of the line told us we would not go through.so ~20people to pass in ~60min.good average.
For a test that you buy 90-100eur, I can say this is VERY poor service and consideration for their customers.
