Instituto Hispánico de Murcia

Mi experiencia en el Instituto Hispánico de Murcia fue excepcional y enriquecedora. Desde el principio, me sorprendió la calidad de la enseñanza y la atención personalizada que recibí. Los profesores demostraron un alto nivel de profesionalismo y dedicación, lo que contribuyó significativamente a mi progreso en el idioma. Además, la diversidad cultural en el aula añadió un valor único a mis estudios, permitiéndome no solo mejorar mis habilidades lingüísticas, sino también entender y apreciar diferentes perspectivas culturales. Las instalaciones y recursos disponibles fueron modernos y eficaces. En resumen, mi tiempo en la escuela no solo fue educativo, sino también inspirador, creando una experiencia que recordaré con gratitud.

Empecé sin conocimientos de español, pero ella me enseñó de forma fácil de entender incluso en el nivel 0. Puedes aprender todo, desde gramática básica hasta conversaciones cotidianas de una manera equilibrada y, como las clases son pequeñas, recibirás orientación detallada sobre cualquier cosa que no entiendas. Sobre todo, los profesores y el personal son muy amables y hacen que el aprendizaje sea divertido, ¡así que lo recomiendo mucho!

Llevo tres meses estudiando en esta institución de enseñanza del idioma español. En este corto tiempo, no sólo mejoré mi español sino que también hice muchos nuevos amigos de todo el mundo. El ambiente escolar aquí es muy cálido y los profesores son pacientes y entusiastas. También hay muchas actividades extraescolares para aprender sobre la cultura española. Si también buscas un entorno dinámico de aprendizaje de idiomas con alta calidad de enseñanza, recomiendo esta escuela.

Después de seis meses de curso intensivo, puedo hablar español a un nivel decente. El personal docente es muy amable y profesional. Definitivamente recomiendo esta escuela:)

Me matriculé para el certificado de nivel con el Instituto Hispánico de Murcia. Todo salió muy bien, tuve muy buen contacto durante la inscripción y con el profesor. El examen fue muy serio y fue preparado con mucho cuidado por la escuela. Estoy muy contento con esta experiencia.

Competentes, flexibles y con una variedad de actividades estupendas. Muy buenos profesionales.

Realicé mis prácticas del máster de profe de ELE con ellos y la verdad que estoy muy contenta. Mis prácticas fueron en línea y en todo momento tuve una comunicación excelente con el equipo y con las profesoras. Además, siempre me dieron flexibilidad para conectarme a las clases que más me interesaban para mi formación.

Quiero destacar que las dos profesoras con las que estuve haciendo observación (Ana y Belén) fueron maravillosas, me ayudaron en todo momento y me transmitieron las ganas de enseñar.

¡Os debo una visita!

Recibí un gran apoyo con un piso de estudiantes. El personal siempre fue amable y muy servicial.

Nuestro viaje escolar a Murcia fue una experiencia increíble. Felipe y Esther fueron tan amables y serviciales con nosotros. El Instituto Hispánico organizó todas las actividades de manera excepcional, lo que permitió a nuestros estudiantes disfrutar al máximo. Además de divertirse, nuestros alumnos se sintieron más seguros y confiados al hablar en español al final del viaje. Estamos agradecidos por esta oportunidad y definitivamente recomendaremos este viaje a otros colegios.

Tuve el placer de realizar las prácticas en este centro y ver de primera mano la calidad en la enseñanza y la variedad de programas educativos que ofrecen.

Both my husband Julian and I attended Spanish classes for 4 weeks at the Instituto Hispánico de Murcia recently.
We had a great time: Good teachers, friendly staff and ambiente, nice and interesting classmates made for a very enjoyable learning experience.

Hice un curso breve en este instituto que fue buenísimo. Las personas son muy amables y inteligentes, y me ayudaron mucho con mi español.

¡El Instituto Hispánico de Murcia es un muy buen colegio! Progresé mucho en español gracias al programa "Experiencia Laboral", y también aprendí mucho. Los profesores son muy atentos y el equipo siempre busca satisfacer nuestras necesidades lo más cerca posible de nuestras expectativas.

My experience here was absolutely incredible. Over the course of one month I learned so much Spanish that I was able to apply while exploring the city. Miriam made sure our classes were varied and included multiple forms of learning (listening, reading, speaking). If you are interested in learning Spanish, I would highly recommend coming here.

Javi is a súper buenísssimo chulo teacher and the whole staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks also to Esther for setting me up with a host family who is also vegetarian! I highly recommend el Instituto Hispánico and Murcia in general to visit and immerse yourself Spanish - it is not a touristy place and so you won't be surrounded by Brits abroad:)

El curso de español fue genial! El muestro Javi es un experto y aprendi mucho con el. De verdad puedo recomendar el curso con este instituto y con Javi mucho.

This is the shadiest educational institution I have ever had to deal with. It appears to be a (well-run) scam. But now I understand why after reading all these reviews on here.
If you are coming from a third-world country where visas are denied very often for one reason or another, you should probably stay away from them. They have inserted a clause in their T&C that stipulates that your money is not going to be reimbursed if your visa is denied. They added a new paragraph this year stating that the money will be used to pay their staff (?). They argue that you will receive your money back only if you strictly followed the visa procedure from the Spain Embassy, which is absurd because even the embassy’s documentation on student visas states that following the procedures doesn’t guarantee you a visa as it is only at their discretion.
Here is the situation. I applied for a 6-month course to upgrade my Spanish before doing a Master’s degree but the pandemic hit a few weeks later. Because of that, I have had a hard time with the embassy here in my country. First, the embassy suspended their activities then they came back and we had to do the procedure all over again because most of the documents had expired so we had to renew them. The embassy argues that they were not satisfied with the financial means we provided, which we could have just solved easily but the pandemic was dragging on with no hope of slowing down so we decided to wait a bit. We talked to the Institute boss and he promised that we will be given the opportunity to take the same course without paying again once we were ready.
To my great surprise, I applied again last month but I was asked to pay again.
What is more, I paid for their accommodation search service but they will connect you with dodgy landlords who won’t give you your money back. The worst is that they made us pay for a Taxi Service which is supposed to be a transfer service from Alicante to Murcia but the flight never happened but they money was never reimbursed.
Stay away from this shady organisation!

IN RESPONSE TO YOUR ANSWER:
1. You advised me not to apply for the visa after you confiscated my money. This is just some high level of hypocrisy.
3. I am sorry to disappoint you but this is not the first time I travel to Europe and I have always come back to my country. And seriously, if I didn't stay in England or France, why would I stay in Spain?
And if you were honestly trying to protect your country from "illegal immigrants", why didn't you just reject the application? And why would anyone spend almost 5000 EUR to go to Spain illegally?
The only explanation is that you are running a scammy business.

I was in Murcia for Erasmus in 2018-2019 and contacted with Instituto Hispanico. They tried to help me to find rented apartment, they offered me free Spanish course. (I still remember my teacher:) ) They were really helpful. After these all things, all my birthdays they send me e-mail to celebrate:) Thank you for all:)

Esther and Carmen are simply the best when it comes visa process! They are very informative, fast responding, and caring people. They helped me with obtaining the correct document for my long stay visa!
I had no trouble making myself at home in the friendly atmosphere. Miriam and Javi are very upbeat and make learning exciting! There's never a dull moment in the classroom!

Fui al IHM por primera vez ya hace 13 años cuando mi hermana me llevó allí, por lo cual le estoy muy agradecido hasta hoy:), pasé en suma 11 semanas en esa escuela durante 3 veranos consecutivos. Sin duda aquel tiempo fue una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida, lo juro:). La instrucción era de muy buena calidad, los maestros y mis amigos de clase - estupendos. Empecé desde cero, los primeros resultados aparecieron prontito. Se veía que los profesores habían sido seleccionados con mucho cuidado. Recomiendo el Instituto a los que buscan un entorno propicio para aprender español efectivamente y conocer gente interesante de todo el mundo que comparte esa ambición.

I'm learning so much while studying at Institutio Hispánico! Together with great staff and great teachers I definitely made the right choice on where to study Spanish. I was able to apply for a 6 months+ visa with the letter of recommendation that I received from the school after being accepted and the they are really helpful with guiding you through the whole process. I'm looking forward to speaking fluently in no time

Ottima scuola di spagnolo nel centro di Murcia, grande professionalità e preparazione, specialmente se ci si prepara per le certificazioni ufficiali, Javi in particolare, raccomando vivamente questa scuola a tutti gli studenti stranieri, e come insegnante di inglese in Italia, sono in grado di valutare la qualità e professionalità di questa svuola.

He hecho el máster para profesores ELE y ha sido una experiencia que recomiendo sin ninguna duda. Javier te explica todo hasta que lo hayas entendido por completo, te ayuda con la preparación de las clases y las prácticas con los estudiantes son increíbles. Ha sido una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido y he conocido a mucha gente.

During the two weeks of my course I learned a lot. My teacher tried to cover the topics that were necessary for my level of Spanish. I found the staff at the school very pleasant and very helpful. If I choose to do another course I will definately come back to this school.

El Instituto Hispánico de Murcia es el centro ideal para aprender español, tanto para iniciarse como para perfeccionar el uso del lenguaje. By the suggestion of a friend, I started online spanish classes from the other edge of the world with no knowledge of spanish at all (even didnt know what Hola means). Now able to speak and understand well. The teachers are professionals and the staff works great about the administrative side. Definitely recommend to everyone who wants to learn or improve their spanish language! (the prices are also very affordable)

It was a good experience for me to study here with a good teacher, and meet stuedents from another countries it was good.

Javi es un excelente profesor, se anticipa a los problemas que tienes los estudiantes y así puede ayudarles mejor en cada situación. Yo he asistido a varios cursos de español y creo que él es uno de los mejores profesores que he encontrado. Mi familia de acogida ha sido muy amable y la casa siempre ha estado limpia. Mi experiencia en Murcia ha sido estupenda y nunca la olvidaré.

Todas las actividades a las que he asistido me han parecido muy interesantes y divertidas para conocer toda la ciudad y la cultura de Murcia.

Estudié español con un profesor del Instituto durante dos semanas. Me gustó mucho el curso porque te enseñan no sólo el idioma pero también la cultura española a través de las actividades y los eventos en Murcia y conocimientos con la gente de todo el mundo en el ambiente divertido. Al final del curso yo entendí que me gustaría estudiar más tiempo en el Instituto. ¡Muchas gracias a todos!

Non ho mai studiato spagnolo: ho frequentato il corso intensivo per 4 settimane ed ho imparato tantissimo!
I professori sono giovani, bravissimi e molto pazienti e spiegano con esempi molto efficaci.
É molto interessante anche lo scambio culturale poiché le classi sono formate da persone provenienti da tutte le parti del mondo.
Le lezioni sono interessanti poiché le attivitá sono varie: lezioni di grammatica, esercizi di ascolto, video, spot, gioco, conversazione e non c'è il rischio di annoiarsi.
Insomma ho passato 4 settimane intense e ne sono uscita molto arricchita.mi mancheranno le ore passate in questo istituto!

He hecho el curso de ELE para ser profesora de español y he aprendido muchísimo. La diversidad de estudiantes me ha ayudado a aprender y a desarrollar muchas habilidades como profesora. Ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Los docentes son muy profesionales y todas las personas que trabajan aquí son muy amables y siempre están dispuestas a ayudar. Lo recomiendo al 100%.

En las clases de gramática, Javi ha explicado todo muy bien y de una manera simple con ejercicios muy divertidos. He conocido a muchos amigos de Irlanda, Finlandia y Polonia. Me han gustado las actividades fuera de las clases como la visita por murcia y el tandem que hacen en algunos bares. La parte que más me gustó durante la clase fue cuando leímos textos porque mejoramos la pronunciación y el enriquecimiento de nuestro vocabulario. Fue la forma más divertida y rápida de aprender el idioma, estoy muy satisfecha con mi nivel de español ahora. Muchísimas gracias por todo al equipo del instituto hispánico.

The Spanish Institute offers great services and opportunities! It was very helpful in helping me integrate in the Spanish culture, and in helping me find an appartment in Murcia. They organize several events for students to meet and help in making the transition to a new country as smooth as possible. The group trip to Granada was an awesome adventure and Manuel ensured we had a great experience! Big thank you to the organization, it was so much fun:) Cant wait for the next trip!
