Went to Rangla Punjab been many times before always good but this time it was amazing food and Service first class thank you

My favourite restaurant in La Torre. Lovely staff so kind and friendly. Food is always delicious.

My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary whilst on holidays here for 2 weeks.

Environment very authentic and a beautiful aspect overlooking the water.

Food was incredible great presentation and taste was spot on, just the right amount of spice kick.

We had 2 starters
Lamb balti & Sushi palak paneer
2 rice
Bottle of wine and a beer

Such amazing value for money

Waiters were polite and friendly and also helpful

We were given a complimentary dessert for celebration, a mango and vanilla ice cream that was absolutely delicious

BE PREPARED TO BE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED FROM WHAT IM ABOUT TO TELL YOU! Went for a meal with family at Rangla Punjab la torre golf resort Roldan Murcia, on 16th April 2022– just as we have done a dozen or so times in the past-and always enjoyed our meals.
We were waiting to pay at the till by the little window to the kitchen, where they serve the food to waiters from the kitchen…
I could not believe what I saw, I looked through and saw dozens of dirty plates, bowls & chutney stands etc all put ‘on the floor’ inside the kitchen doors. Two waiters were stepping between the dirty plates and bowls and were bending down picking /scooping food from many used chutney bowls with their hands and placing the bits of food into fresh bowls.
They realised I was watching, and I casually looked away/around as if I hadn’t seen them… they said something to one another and then carried on scavenging. Then one of them wiped around the edges of 4-chutney bowls which by now had been filled from left-overs …put them in a stand & walk out into the restaurant get 2 poppadom’s then serve this to a couple sat on the bottom left of the steps with a big smile.
The fact this was being done in the kitchen in ‘full view’ of all other cooking staff and the other waiters going in and out the door directly beside where they were picking over the food- proves the fact that this is USUAL PRACTICE AND ACCEPTED BY EVERYONE THAT WORKS THERE! I would estimate there were at least 7 other staff floating around them.
They are literally serving second-hand food from various people’s leftovers-directly from the floor, & scooping it up with their hands, like they are feeding animals.
I was in such shock and shaking I just had to get out, I wish now I had gone told the customers and staff what I saw. It would have not ended well, and I had my family to think of too.
I have reported this, and action is being taken. After I initially complained to the restaurant themselves-they firstly absolutely denied this -until I mentioned it was filmed… at which point he then blamed the staff saying ‘ALL’ his staff were new (absolute rubbish as we have been here many times, and all the waiters have been there for many months that I know of!).
I am absolutely horrified and felt shocked and sick, knowing we have more than likely been dished up food in this way on our visits. They serve you a meal with a big smile, absolutely knowing how that food got on the plate. Reselling peoples left off food must be very profitable!
FEEL FREE TO GO HERE FOR A LOVELY MEAL, CONSISTING OF VARIOUS STRANGERS LEFT OVER MEALS SCOOPED AND SCAVENGED BY HAND FROM BOWLS AND PLATES SCATTERED ON THE FLOOR – OH AND PAY FULL PRICE! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!

Ate here last year although the food was average and the service poor the below reviews are really concerning will not eat her again

Took 11 friends there for a meal last Friday and all commented how good the food was and service was excellent Iv been there quite a few times and never had a bad meal staff very friendly and very helpful

Maybe worst meal ever had. Service was absolutely awful had no idea what was going on and never seen so many people walk out finally got food after 2 hours and was not great and think worst thing is the attitude of staff which made it hard not want to slap someone. Never will I step foot in here again and advice no one ever does.

Am I being over critical? No, I used to have microwave chicken tikka masala back in my uni days - so trust me I know what a rubbish curry is all about.

I have been here a year or so ago and the food wasn’t that bad. However, this time the waiter even admitted the chef has changed. Perhaps a byproduct of covid 19 and the cost saving exercise forced upon many businesses.

Please note I am all for supporting local businesses, so for me to write really goes against what my moral compass stands for.

Service: 2/10 - the staff were friendly enough, but to lie to my face and say the king prawn dish were really king prawns was a joke I wasn’t going accept.

Food -5/10: It’s my third time of eating here and never before was the food as bad as it was on this meal, (I’ll go as far as to say my food here was probably a 7/10 before) and it really is my last meal at this establishment.

The food was horrible at best. I really do not want to go into any further, otherwise it might undermine how my review is perceived.

Amazing service, food was delicious and beautifully presented. Accommodated our booking at late notice and the waiters were flexible with all of our dietary requirements. Good value, good times, definitely give it a go!

Great Indian restaurant in line with a good UK Indian. Great service and not expensive. Would highly recommend

Llegamos a las 22h sin reserva y restaurante vacío. El camarero riéndose nos dice que está lleno y reservado.
Lo peor no es el trato al cliente, TODO el personal estaba trabajando SIN MASCARILLA. Debe ser que en este restaurante el covid aún no ha llegado.
Después de ver el “pequeño” detalle de las mascarillas, agradecí que me “echaran” sin cenar.

Great curry. Thoroughly recommend. Should be much busier, give it a go! Nice waiters. Good portions. Will definitely return!

The staff didn’t wear a face mask and the restaurant was empty and they told us there were full, they just didn't want to serve us.
