Inma nos recogió en nuestro hotel y organizó dos días de recorrido y degustación y quedamos muy contentos con nuestra experiencia única. ¡Pasamos un tiempo individual con los enólogos aprendiendo sus técnicas y tradiciones de elaboración del vino! Terminamos comprando mucho vino porque todo era fantástico y botellas que no se pueden encontrar en los EE. UU. Inma nos llevó a un almuerzo/restaurante increíble el primer día y nos preparó un hermoso almuerzo tipo picnic el segundo día. ¡Pueblos encantadores, cuevas/túneles, hermosos paisajes y un vino increíble! ¡Recomendamos encarecidamente Inma y Rioja Wine Trips!

Acabo de regresar de la fabulosa gira Unusual Suspects de Inma y fue un día tan fabuloso. Esperaba una mirada personalizada a un par de productores boutique de Rioja dignos y eso fue precisamente lo que obtuvimos. Informativo y divertido, se sirvieron vinos fantásticos y probablemente el punto culminante de nuestros 14 días de viaje por España. ¡La bodega Cupani fue realmente el siguiente nivel!

Nos divertimos muchísimo con Inma en la gira de Unusual Suspects. Nos llevó a una excursión de un día completo con visitas a tres bodegas familiares con historias únicas y vinos fantásticos. Lo más destacado de nuestro recorrido fue conocer a uno de los propietarios de bodegas, quien se sentó con nosotros durante dos horas para hablar sobre el pasado, el presente y el futuro de su negocio. Luego, Inma preparó un delicioso almuerzo casero con especialidades locales antes de llevarnos de regreso a nuestro hotel. Fue una experiencia maravillosa con una guía fantástica, profundamente informada y amigable. ¡Lo recomendamos encarecidamente!

Este es un excelente viaje enológico que he realizado hasta ahora en el recorrido por los viñedos. El conocimiento de Inma sobre el vino de Rioja es muy amplio y completo. Ella es profesional, agradable y divertida. Ella se hace cargo de su responsabilidad y cumple lo que acordó cuando nos comunicamos por primera vez. No me lo perderé, fue un viaje increíble el que tuvimos. Gracias.

Pasamos el día en un pequeño grupo con Inma, visitando tres bodegas, cada una diferente de la otra y todas muy interesantes.

Inma es una gran anfitriona, comparte su conocimiento aparentemente infinito sobre la región de Rioja, las bodegas y los vinos que elaboran.

La información compartida por los enólogos en las bodegas y su hospitalidad fue increíble. Nos sentimos muy privilegiados de pasar el tiempo en cada lugar y no estar apurados, aprendiendo todos los aspectos, desde el cultivo de vides hasta las clasificaciones del producto terminado.

El almuerzo fue un destacado - ¡delicioso!

Reservamos un tour de "salto de bodega" a través de Inma con viajes de vino de Rioja. Fue una experiencia fantástica. La gira estuvo bien organizada e Inma fue una gran anfitriona.llevándonos a diferentes bodegas familiares y compartiendo un gran conocimiento de una manera fácil e informal. ¡Nos divertimos mucho en la gira de Unusual Suspects! Inma fue una anfitriona tan bien informada y agradable. Nuestro tiempo juntos fue como si estuviéramos pasando tiempo con un viejo amigo. Los enólogos fueron muy acogedores y pacientes con nosotros mientras practicábamos nuestro español y probamos vinos únicos y sorprendentes.

Comenzamos el día aprendiendo sobre las características específicas de la región y la tierra que hacen de Rioja un área ideal para la elaboración del vino, seguido de un recorrido por tres bodegas diferentes. Los viñedos estaban bien dispersos, pero lo suficientemente cerca como para que pudiéramos tener una buena idea de la geografía de Rioja sin sentir que estábamos pasando demasiado tiempo en la camioneta. El día terminó con un almuerzo íntimo en una de las casas de los enólogos donde tuvimos una comida tradicional española. Después del almuerzo, pudimos dar un paseo para explorar un pequeño castillo en lo alto de una colina donde disfrutamos de hermosas vistas del campo.

Esta es la segunda vez que hacemos un tour con Inma de Rioja Wine Trips. Absolutamente increible. Hemos realizado recorridos vinícolas en Napa, Sonoma, Willamette Valley, Champagne, Borgoña y otros. Este recorrido es realmente especial. Inma te hace sentir bienvenido y las bodegas que pudimos experimentar fueron excepcionales. Inma también es una auténtica experta (certificada) en vinos y puede explicar los matices de cada vino desde el terroir hasta el proceso de recolección, elaboración y crianza. Especialmente en la gira Unusual Suspects, nos obsequiaron con pequeños productores de vino que nunca hubiéramos podido encontrar por nuestra cuenta. Altamente recomendado.

Qué experiencia tan fantástica y guía turístico profesional. Hicimos el tour grupal privado "Sospechosos Inusuales" con Inma. Nos llevó a lo largo de un viaje a la región vinícola de Rioja, explicando todo, desde el estilo de cultivo hasta las técnicas de producción, y pudo describir y presentar el vino profesionalmente de una manera que lo educara y lo hiciera divertido. Las bodegas a las que fuimos eran extremadamente auténticas y nos permitieron vislumbrar el sabor real de la región. Nuestra guía turística Inma fue apasionada, amigable y mantuvo un alto nivel de energía durante todo el recorrido. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente este recorrido y no puedo esperar a volver algún día!

Where to begin? … Inma was wonderful from the moment we met. Her knowledge and enthusiasm about the Rioja wine region was overwhelming. We got to know different types of wineries, walked through a vineyard having detailed explanations about the wine production process. On our first trip to Spain, we wanted to learn about more about Rioja wine. I found Rioja Wine Trips website by chance and booked a "Unusual Suspects" small group tour. We love going off the beaten path when it comes to wineries and anything really so we thought this would be the perfect tour!

We lucked out and because we visited just in the off-season (1st week of November) we happened to get a private tour since no one else had booked that day.

Inma is a wealth of knowledge, friendly, kind and just the person you want to spend your whole day with to learn about Rioja wine. We first stopped to learn about the grapes, how they grow, the different types of vines and geeked out over everything we had learned.

Then we went to three amazing wineries, all the people we met were fantastic at the wineries, nothing was rushed, it was a perfect pace, you are not pressured to buy anything and it ended with a late lunch in a small family home. It was so great, we truly regretted not booking two days with Rioja Wine Tours.

Inma goes above and beyond so all you have to do is show up, learn, drink and have a memorable experience!

What a wonderful tour! Inma knows the area extremely well, is passionate about wine, and picked great wineries that I have either never had their wines, or never heard of. We got to sit down with the wineries and taste multiple wines, then finished with a lovely late lunch.

This tour is special to me, I saw the big buses heading to some famous enormous bodegas, but I really got to know La Rioja much better and understanding the culture that creates such impressive wines from such passionate vintners.

Well worth the money, well worth the effort to book, a day VERY well spent.

Look no further, Rioja Wine Trips is a must for any wine tour in the Rioja region of Spain. This was truly an amazing experience. The tour Inma provided was above and beyond our expectations. Her knowledge, love, and passion for the region and its wine history shines through on the tour. We chose Rioja Uncovered, and it was quite the experience. The wineries Inma chose were rich in history and allowed us the experience of getting right into the wine making process. I felt like the tour couldn't get any better, but it did. Lunch was an authentic Spanish lunch and was absolutely delicious. There was a total of 6 of us on the tour, but it felt like a private tour. We visited a medieval castle with breathtaking views. The wines were delicious. Purchasing and shipping was a breeze. It was a full day experience and worth every penny. I don't want to give away all the details, just book it! I look forward to returning to the region, and when I do Inma will be the first call I make for another tour. Thank you Inma for genuine kindness.

Inma hosted our family of four on a private tour of 3 small wineries in La Rioja. It was a fantastic vacation experience. From the vineyards to the historical cellars, we tasted some outstanding wines while learning about the production and the history of the area. Inma was gracious, friendly, and fun. We had a wonderful lunch and walk in between visits. The highlight was drinking outstanding wine with the outstanding grower at Cupani, Enrique. My son and I booked the Unusual Suspects tour and had the most amazing day with Inma visiting the smaller, lesser known wineries. Inma has a wealth of knowledge about wine and in particular, the Rioja valley, and has established a great rapport with the winemakers themselves. It was a much better experience than going to the larger wineries where you do feel like you’re being herded around a bit. The wineries chosen were all exceptional, each one unique in their own way. The lunch was delicious, Inma even brought along some delicious tomatoes from her Dad’s garden - I’ve never tasted tomatoes so delicious! Thanks again Inma for a fabulous day we will never forget.

This was the best wine tour we’ve been on, and our tour guide, Inmacudala (aka. “Inma”), was exceptionally good. She has a master’s degree in wine studies; her passion and knowledge show in her explanations of the wine, the Rioja region, and the vineyards. If you are interested in going deeper than the surface about wine and getting an authentic Spanish wine experience, then this is the tour for you. Inma picked us up in Logrono, where we were staying. We went to three wineries Valserrano, Puelles, and Gómez Cruzado: all family-owned wineries. In each winery we tried five different wines, including crianza, reserva, gran reserve, white varieties of Rioja, and some special wines. They were all very different and all good; we found some exception as well, which varies by pallet. There was no pressure to buy any wine, and in most places, we were greeted by the owners themselves. They took the time to explain the wines and tell us about the history of the winery and their families. It was very special. We also had stops along the road to see the vineyards, taste the grapes, and learn about the types of vines (bush versus trellis), soil, the struggling vine theory and different parts of the Rioja region. The tour was very relaxed while academic. The “cherry” on top came at the end of the tour when Inma took us to the medieval hill-top town of San Vicente for an authentic Spanish lunch at a traditional Spanish house. We had tortilla, different cuts of preserved meats, olives, bread, and of course Rioja wine. After lunch we walked up the hill to see the old church and the medieval castle. While many tours claim to be educational, Inma’s is truly academic – a strong “must see” recommendation from us!

This was the best wine tour I have been to date. The hostess Inma was very knowledgeable and informative. We visited some of the best wineries and sampled some great wines.
The lunch was simple but very tasty.
I will definitely return and try another tour with them

I went on the Classics Rioja Wine Tour with my wife and two very close friends. My wife and I have been on wine tours in Florence Italy and in Napa Valley, California and I can say that this was by far the best. Inma, our tour guide and owner, gave a very personal account of the area and made us feel welcome. She was very knowledgeable and helped us to appreciate the history of Rioja and the wines made there. The three wineries included were varied and spectacular, no two really quite the same as the last. The tour concluded with a very personalized lunch with dishes made of hand-picked ingredients and felt very authentic. I would not hesitate to experience this tour once again and of course would recommend it to anyone interested, regardless of wine tasting experience. My wife, friends and I all agree it has been the highlight of our trip around Spain
