Akira Animal Sanctuary

Este debe ser el mejor refugio de animales de la zona, tal vez incluso de la región. Los perros están bien cuidados y su red voluntaria de paseadores de perros se asegura de que todos los perros reciban atención y ejercicio.
Adoptamos un perro que encaja perfectamente en nuestra familia y nos encantó el apoyo que recibimos en el camino. Sin presiones, sólo quieren encontrar la pareja adecuada para cada perro.

Recientemente adopté un perro rescatado de aquí. El santuario está muy limpio y bien administrado. El personal es increíble. Muy servicial y realmente se preocupa por los animales que están con ellos.

Fueron muy amables con nosotros. Les llamé y sin ningún problema me facilitaron un transportín para ir a recoger un nuevo miembro de la familia, que estaba en Jaén, y sin lucrarse de ello.
Sinceramente estuve viendo algunos perros y entendí que eran una gran familia. Un gran trabajo y un amor incondicional de la asociación hacia los animales. Muy bien Akira

Instalaciones adecuadas. Las personas que nos atendieron fueron muy educadas, nosotros buscábamos un perrito adulto, tamaño pequeño, no hubo suerte, lo volveremos a intentar más adelante. Saludos

Gracias por la cálida bienvenida y por tomarse el tiempo para mostrarme los alrededores y presentarme a los perros antes de que pudiera ofrecerme como voluntario para pasearlos. Me quedé muy impresionado con la amabilidad y la compasión mostrada a las personas y los perros. Y me pareció que el refugio estaba muy bien planeado, organizado y limpio. Los perros están bien cuidados.

Un lugar para salvar perros abandonados muy bien administrado y excepcionalmente limpio, felicidades a las personas que administran seriamente este establecimiento.

Encontraron a mi perro y se lo llevaron. Recibí mensajes muy amables y cuidaron muy bien a mi perro. Y una gran ventaja es que hablan inglés. Gracias

Very lovely people, they know what they do. They are so sweet for the animals. Very clean also. We adopt a great dog, we give him a new home. And he gives us a lot of Joy.

Se ve que trabajan a gusto. Instalaciones siempre limpias. Los animales bien cuidados con comida de calidad, lo se de primera mano.

Pour moi c est un 5 etoiles et la 2eme fois que nous visitons ce shelter. Il n' y a certe pas bcp de chiens (40 environ) mais tout le monde est mobiliser. Bcp de benevoles les chiens sont reellement choyes. I love this shelter

Amazing place. Everyone takes such good care of all the dogs. They really live what they do! We adopted our dog there and we can’t be more happy!

Very disappointed in this place! You try to rescue a dog but then the adoption got canceled for ridiculous reasons. According to them the puppy could escape from the main gates and thru some trees to the neighbors. They didn’t even give me time time to fix the gates. They just canceled everything, I paid for the reservation and I was so happy for the dog I already have because his father died recently. He feels alone. The puppy is bigger then my chihuahua and he doesn’t leave my my site. Certainly not tru the gates. As I told them also, I had a lot of dogs and puppies already and puppies never try to go away. If you are a good dog trainer they see you as the leader of the pack. They don’t try to run away. Anyway, this puppy is so young, I wouldn’t let her leave the house in the beginning anyway, just for walks. I tried to talk to the manager about this, but she was too busy!

Thanks for the amazing work you do. It was great to spend time at the sanctuary meeting some the people who volunteer there as well as the gorgeous dogs. Keep up the good work.

After losing my dog I came to Akira and became a volunteer as a dogwalker. I ended up adopting Blue, best dog ever from this shelter. Akira staff helped me in so many ways. Their dogs always come first.

Una maravilla. Después de encontrarnos con varias asociaciones que no nos trataron de forma correcta, encontramos a Akira y en concreto a Cristina. Gracias a ella tenemos un magnífico perrete en la familia. Magnífico trato, colaboración y asesoramiento; por no decir la preocupación real por los animales. Una suerte haberles encontrado.

Un refuge pour chiens abandonnés, bien être pris en considération, les personnes qui s'occupent de ce centre sont vraiment très investies, les chiens sont sortis aussi par les bénévoles, ainsi les pensionnaires ne restent pas enfermés.ils sont vraiment très bien traités. Malheureusement ce refuge ne reçoit pas beaucoup d'aide financière de la ville, alors il faut continuer à les aider.

I was really impressed with the relaxed atmosphere - not really what I expected. The dogs seemed free and happy and the volunteers clearly adored them. Obviously it can never substitute for a loving family home but to me it seemed the next best thing. It was really a heart-warming experience. ️

This is a great shelter! Fantastic people! They are very helpful and friendly. You can feel and see how excellent the care about the animals! Highly recommended!

We volunteered to walk dogs here while in Moraira. The staff was great with us and amazing with the dogs. Definitely adopt from here!

We had a puppy from here and the staff are fantastic and care so much for the animals in there care. I highly recommend coming here to give a animal a new home

Well run, caring sanctuary. Dogs are all well cared for and returned to good health. They are also assessed and undergo rehabilitation and socialising where necessary. We have just given one of their puppies a forever home. The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable.
