Un tardío agradecimiento público al chico de esta joyería. Estuve en Palafrugell, Cataluña de vacaciones recientemente, y entré en una tienda para cambiar la batería de mi reloj. La dama lo hizo, pero luego no pudo hacer que la parte trasera del reloj encajara en su posición. Usó muchas herramientas, un tornillo de banco, un martillo, todo menos un elefante para ponerle peso. Al final, le pedí que se detuviera y simplemente cerrara el reloj con cinta adhesiva. Luego llevé mi reloj a esta tienda, donde había estado antes, ¡y el hombre lo cerró en unos diez segundos! No aceptaría el pago, así que llamaré con un pequeño regalo cuando esté en Oliva. Muchas, muchas gracias.
A belated public thank-you to the guy who owns this jeweller's shop. I was in Palafrugell, Catalonia, on holiday recently, and I popped into a shop to have my watch battery replaced. The lady did so but then could not get the back of the watch to click into position. She used lots of tools, a vice, a hammer, everything except an elephant to put weight on it. In the end, I asked her to stop and just tape the watch closed. I then took my watch to this shop, where I had been before, and the guy closed it in about ten seconds! He would not take payment, so I will call in with a small gift when I am next in Oliva. Thank you so much!
