Elian's British School La Nucía

Es un colegio excelente. Las instalaciones son magnificas. El profesorado es nativo, por lo que nuestros hijos aprenden ingles con el acento recomendado. El comedor excelente y la comunicacion profesor-padre muy bien tambien.

Our child is studying at this school for the second year. He studies with great pleasure, interesting homework in electronic form, a good friendly children's team, attentive and sensitive teachers. I would especially like to highlight the merits of the admission team. They know how to win over any child, solve all problems with lightning speed, professionally forms children's and parent groups, which is very important.

Colegio británico con las ventajas de un sistema educativo que se basa más en construir el conocimiento que en memorizar y un ambiente internacional muy enriquecedor, ya que hay alumnos rusos, noruegos, etc. No es un colegio muy grande, por lo que el ambiente es familiar. Los profesores son muy buenos y están muy implicados. Las instalaciones cuentan con varios laboratorios, salas de estudio, biblioteca, pistas deportivas y servicio de enfermería. Además, hay una nueva ruta de transporte desde la zona de San Juan playa y El Campello. Nuestro hijo se siente feliz y está aprendiendo mucho.

Muy bajo el nivel educacional, la dirección igual o peor que la anterior y el ambiente de los padres horrible, el curso que viene nos marchamos. Si te preocupa la educación de tus hijos, este no es el lugar.

I have just taken my children out of this school Totally shocked at how bad it is …. Problem solving skills at this school lacks a lot …. There is no organisation what so ever the children don’t even no what teacher they will be having in September until a few days before…. There should be a meet an greet before the children break up for the holidays there’s now no head teacher … there’s never been a head master. The new director is is shockingly unprofessional! The food is disgusting most kids go without a meal all day everyday at this school! As the menu variety is that bad the children can not go pack lunch so they would rather see the children starve or force is used at meal time with staff pressuring children to eat. Last year there was no math teacher in the secondary department for the whole year shocking …. The Spanish learning system is also shocking they follow a booklet there’s no interaction input on there Spanish lessons just following a book everyday! Your child will not learn Spanish at this school if the teacher methods continue. To be honest if I could put less than one star I would. I would not put my child in this school if it was for free let alone there shocking fee …. A lot of the teachers who work here at Elians do not even put there children in this school an most would get it for free so that says a lot of how bad it really is

For me the biggest issue I had at the school was the high levels of bullying with zero phsycological support and no socio-emotional developme. It seems that the head would rather pretend the problem doesn't exist & you will have no support or resolution from anyone. I know of several families that have left the school because of this issue (myself included) or are constantly battling with the school. The other concerning issue seems to be the extremely low quality of teaching & lack of teachers specialised in subject matter, with children having a lot of free time, which considering how much the fees are, this is really not acceptable. Lack of motivation for students and little or no contact or updates to parents about your childs progress, there is also a lack of community and pastoral care, in 3 years at the school I attended 1 event with other parents, very little is done for the integration of the different nationalities. It is a very elitest & classist school, your child will be ok if you either come from the right background with the right surname and or have a parent who works at the school.

Como colegio inglés, bien, pero con muchos problemas desde que llegó la nueva directora, tiene mucho que desear para el puesto que ocupa y en la docencia saber tratar mejor a los alumnos.

Un colegio muy bueno con una enseñanza de inglés muy buena y los estudiantes se lo pasan en grande, es algo caro pero merece la pena

Un buen colegio, buena enseñanza, y aprendizaje del inglés mediante juegos y actividades. Se lo pasan en grande! Y aprenden!
