Firefly - Alicante Airport

¡NUNCA RESERVES! ¡¡Un mes después de alquilar un auto, hicieron un mal uso de mi tarjeta de crédito!

Una auténtica estafa, a la fuerza tengo que darle una estrella pero no merece ni eso, incumplen el contrato con la empresa intermediaria y eso no tiene sentido ni legalidad alguna, ya que en las condiciones de alquiler explicaba que se puede pagar con tarjeta de débito, y al llegar al mostrador de Firefly no me dejaban pagar con ella, sin darme el coche ya pagado por no tener tarjeta de CREDITO. Por lo tanto al no tener tarjeta de crédito tenemos que pagar el triple de lo que cuesta para poder cogerlo sin fianza. No se compliquen con esta compañía, descártenla por completo. Una vergüenza.

Estafa de depósito de seguridad no reembolsable si utiliza una tarjeta de débito.

Pagamos un alquiler a través de booking.com que incluía un seguro a todo riesgo para un coche en Alicante. Me pidieron que pusiera una tarjeta en espera para el combustible en caso de que la devolviéramos sin llenarlo. Cuando regresé a casa, me cobraron el doble del monto que pagué por adelantado, lo cual disputé y me dijeron que se trataba de un depósito de seguridad no reembolsable por pagar con una tarjeta de débito. Honestamente, es una estafa y nunca volveré a reservar a través de firefly o booking.com.

Nunca más, el alquiler de coches no es muy caro, pero no reembolsa el depósito entregado.
Llamé durante meses y nunca tuve atención al cliente ni una sola persona que hablara francés. Por otro lado, para reservar vehículos allí la gente habla francés.

No hay nadie para revisar el auto. Cuando lo devuelva, debe poner la llave en una caja. Dejas el coche y la llave, y te cargan en la tarjeta de crédito la cantidad que quieren. No hay servicio al cliente. No sabes cuáles son los cargos para ti y no puedes contactar a nadie. Por favor, evite esta empresa. Entregué el auto exactamente como lo recibí con el tanque lleno y el recibo de combustible. ¡Todavía me cobraron £ 76 y no tengo idea de por qué! ¡Sin factura, sin comunicación! Por favor evite

Ladrones hasta con visa cb estreno que tienen seguro con el banco me obligan a tomar el seguro de lo contrario salí en taxis llego 3 horas tarde y 2 bebe o pagamos o nos bloquean les decimos que es obligatorio resultado el precio del alquiler es doble

Standing at the Airport they would not accept the PIN of my gold credit card - had to look for another car, which was - needless to say, very much more expensive as I did not book it months ahead.

Attention arnaque les gens en leur vendant des assurances premium qu’ils ont jamais signés, en disant que c est au cas ou le véhicule n est pas rendu avec le plein. Finalement c est plus chère, agence à éviter à tous prix. Des voleurs!

I paid for my car hire through the airline when booking the flights. At the airport I was told that I hadn’t paid and I needed to pay them. I thought it was my mistake so I paid. When I checked my credit card I had paid twice. I went back to the desk before departure and the man said “honestly, I don’t care”. Still trying to get my money back.

I travel a lot because of my work and often have to rent a car. I’ve never experienced this many suprises and troubles with a rental company as I did with firefly.
From my personal experience I would not recommend renting from firefly.

Don't get a puncture with theses clowns. Awful service don't answer the phones, don't recognize your rental agreement number? Spent hours on the phone trying to sort it out. They don't call you back just leave you to rot at the side of the road.

Tutto perfetto, il ragazzo che ci ha consegnato la macchina è stato davvero gentilissimo, parlava perfettamente italiano, ci ha dato un sacco di consigli! La macchina era meglio di quello che ci aspettavamo! Servizio

Quiero decir que he llamado por un mal entendido a la empresa y me atendieron enseguida, no solo Jorge nos dió una solución sino que fue rápido, super gentil y amable. Al dia siguiente fuimos y nos atendió de la misma manera; todo super rápido, claro, los coches son increibles y la verdad volveremos alquilar ahí ya que la atención fue excelente.

Awful car rental company! Rip you off with additional charges that you didn't use. Charged me 54 euros for extra milage more than double what I actually used. Fuel was not full either like it should have been. Please if this happens to you go to the desk the last thing you want to faf around with after a long floght, i know) but they crucify you if you bring it back the same as what it was.

We pre-booked a vehicle via a booking site. The service employee (Ruiz) first started scamming us for gas fees which were not agreed to and then insisted on selling additional insurance (or making a rediculously large deposit of nearly EUR 1500). Pricing was extremely intransparent and in no way documented. Mafiosi practises.

Terrible comunication and no possibility to contact, I've been charge twice long after my rental has ended, with no reasone what so ever and contacting them to explain situation is impossible.

No aceptan tarjetas debit. Bloquean 150 euros por gasolina. Los otros solo bloquean 50. Llamar a el teléfono de atención al público de la oficina del Aeropuerto de Alicante no es gratis. Thyrsty y Firefly son los discounter de Hertz. La política de alquiler de Firefly es la peor de los 3

I have made a booking, and they didn't give me car saying that they don't have available cars. They even not explaining me how to get back my money. I am shocked.

I've been dealing with this company for 6 or 7 years. During this pandemic they have been excellent sorting out my car hire with cancelled flights means extentended car rental. They ensured the best rates possible and it was done with care.

Por desgracia no pude llevarme el coche, tenía la reserva pagada pero al no tener tarjeta de crédito, (yo tengo de débito) no pude terminar con la reserva y llevarme el coche. Muy desanimada, alquilar un coche no es al alcance de todo los bolsillos.una pena

Booked the car through Easyjet. Pick up was quick. Watch out for optional coverages, ie. Theft Protection Waiver, Personal Cover, Super Cover and Premium Emergency Road Service because they came to an extra £240 to the rental price. Only found out about those charges when I returned to UK and they were not explained thoroughly at the time of pick up. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Usless, car was good but the service terrible. Charged me for something did not want and there was no one to talk to at the airport. Since then i have just been shuffeld around. Last time for me.

Le véhicule était conforme à celui que nous avions réservé. En très bon état. Petit point négatif, lors de la remise des clefs, la personne insiste pour nous vendre des assurances hors de prix alors que nous l'avions déjà souscrit lors de la réservation en ligne.

Was waiting in line for a our while the staff just went home and the cue was getting longer.
Not acceptable!

Was initially rather content (good price, fast to get the keys, pickup car from airport) until I received a surprise 6 eur payment taken from my account without any notification or invoice. I’ve tried calling multiple times, plus sent several emails but no one is picking up the phone or replying. Still left clueless on what this payment was for and customer service is clearly lacking. 1/5 for me.

BEWARE! *Appalling Service, *Long Delays, *Extortionate Surcharges, and *Pressurised Sales on Insurance.

Our flight arrived at Alicante on time. We were kept waiting in a long queue for over an hour and a half. Each customer took over 20 minutes to process. When you got to the desk, you are given the hard sale on insurance. 120 Euros at their desk-£15 in the UK!
An additional surcharge of 40 Euros was added as it was beyond midnight-The long delay was due to them and their processing time! The attitude was pay up, or you don't get the car!

BEWARE of the damage form - Not all the damage is listed -SO YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for it! We encountered numerous people going back to the desk with forms. TAKE PHOTOS of the car when you pick it up, time stamp them. This will give you some cover.
We were disgusted with this firm, especially as it is part of Hertz.

*On arrival home, we spent time emailing Firefly with our grievances, they could not care less once they have got your money. It is a very poor policy, as we will never use them again, and travel frequently.
We will tell everyone of our experiences.

Que catástrofe. Nunca mas. 1 h de espera hasta q te atiendan y 15 o 20 min hasta que te dan las llaves. No había mucha cola. Sencillamente son más lentos que el resto. Pero son tan simpáticos una vez que te atienden que solo les quito una estrella.

Despues de 15 dias sigo esperando que retiren el bloqueo de mi tarjeta de credito. POR FAVOR, contestad a mis emails o a mis llamadas. Si la situacion no se corrige no podré recomendar esta compañia.

POR FAVOR PONGANSE EN CONTACTO CONMIGO o la unica posible solucion parece ser una queja en consumo y una denuncia por robo.

Piratas, tuve que coger un seguro extra bastante caro porque según ellos con mi tarjeta no era posible alquilarlo si él. Se suponía que al devolver vehículo tenía que devolverme una parte del mismo más el combustible no utilizado. Han pasado los días, no he recibido devolución, no responden al teléfono ni contestan a los emails.
Nada contenta, no lo recomiendo en absoluto.

Offre via internet mais au final on vous débite 80 euros une fois le retour de la voiture au total 98 pour une journée au lieu de la vingtaine de euro prévu une belle arnaque et un débit sur ma carte bleue! Fuyez Escrocs! Une plainte collective est déposé contre firefly nous ne lâcherons pas!

Me han timado 80 euros. Teniendo una tarjeta de credito me han exigido un nuevo seguro, hacia15 dias que habia alquilado en la misma empresa sin problema asi que los ladrones estan en la oficina. Nunca volvere a alquilar con ellos

Tenía una reserva, llegué a mi hora y saqué número, no hay preferencia para quienes tienen reserva, los chicos trataban de atender lo más rápido posible pero fue insuficiente ya que tardé una hora y cuarto en poder obtener mi coche. Después, las condiciones que contratas en web nunca son iguales, la web te avisa de que pagarás sólo el depósito y cuando llegas quieren que pagues 90€ más, los 1000€ de depósito y 425 más pienso necesitas asistencia en carretera. Otra opción es la de a todo riesgo, que obviamente ennoficina es más rentable para ti, en web es desorbitado. El coche iba bien y la devolución al ser a todo riesgo fue rápido pero no repetiré

Hard sell on extra insurance.

Given a car that wouldn't fit the cases we had (despite having booked a 3 case car and only having 2 cases), made to pay upgrade fee.

Car were got had 5 extra pieces of damage compared to the sheet, had I not checked I'm sure they would have charged from the excess.

Avoid.

Was forced to pay more to hire two kids seats than our family car cost us! This despite our contract stating that what the seats would cost and that a maximum 'capped' charge applies.

We will NEVER use this company again and urge others to avoid them!

Louer via rentalcar payer pour 1 semaine 18euros exactement voiture prévu Opel corsa à l arriver surclassement voiture Toyota 7 places neuve 5000 kms.
Guichet à l'intérieur de l aeroport donc très pratique et monsieur agréable. Bien faire attention a avoir une carte de crédit car nous l avions et aucune insistance à prendre l assurance en plus. Nous avons récupérer la voiture avec le plein et nous l avons rendu avec le plein. Bien faire attention quand vous la récupérer au coups. Nous avons rajouter 2 coups en plus Et au retour aucune surprise tout c est bien passer. A recommander. Personnel agréable. Et le tout pour 18euros!
