Fishy Fishy Fish & Chips Moraira

After Saxo just caught a fish and chips take away. Delicious crispy fried fish large portion and not greasy served with more than ample real chips (not the reconstructed rubbish they serve in many of the restaurants in Moraira).

Been meaning to visit here for ages. We certainly were not disappointed. My husband picked up a takeaway. Freshly cooked. Tasty. Excellent food. Great quality. Also very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I have just finished our take-away cod and chips from Fishy Fishy and they were SUPERB - fabulous fresh fish, great chips and very good service. Very happy to recommend.

Delicious cod with chips, would definitely recommend getting the tartar sauce to accompany the fish. Trying the apple pie is also a must. Good service, would definitely come again.

Had a very very nice battered XL sausage and chips, super cold drinks, quick and very good service. Wind blows on terrace so not too warm to eat outside either. Recommend!

A few weeks ago we were turned away for arriving after 3pm. I wrote a review stating my opinion. I have today removed that review! Today my wife and I returned. Much earlier, nice friendly greeting in English, a quick delivery of a couple of ice cold drinks and the menuWe ordered fish and chips, they arrived quickly nice and hot and can in fairness, only be described as delicious! Good value for money and there is an early bird option available! So if you're in the area, hungry and love fish and chips do not hesitate, but remember they close at 3 pm!

As always, Fishy Fishy is wonderful. Great food and very good & quick service. It is by far the best fish and chips is the whole area. The sweets etc are also very good.

Went back after a year, food was amazing and service from the guy was great. The waitress was rude to us when paying, snapping her fingers at us and rushing us to pay, complaining about a split bill. If we couldve paid it together we would’ve, but not everyone has Bizum. Her rudeness left a sour taste in our mouth.

Ordered for a family of 9 tonight via the online booking system. Very easy & efficient way of ordering with the option to select a convenient pick up time.
Food was declared "delicioso" by the youngest member Age 3 & a half. The rest of the family agreed. Beautiful fish, excellent chips & a special mention from the one southener amongst us for the perfect battered sausage.
All in all, a little taste of home away from home. Keep up the good work Fishy Fishy

Lovely meals enjoyed by us. My wife had her usual Cod and Sweet Potato chips while I went a little off piste with Chicken & Mushroom pie, mushy peas, curry sauce, small regular chips and some Sweet Potato chips.

In all honesty, the beef and ale pie I've had in the past was better than the chicken & mushroom pie. It's crust was a little thick for me and the chicken a little dry - but the overall meal was wonderful

Next visit I'll probably have my all time favourite - Cod & Chips, but it's nice to try out other things on the menu too, occasionally ️️️

Had dish n chips on Good Friday. Food was well presented, hot and a high standard on a busy day.

Excellent haddock and chips. Very busy when we visited but we were still served right away. Well worth a visit for traditional British fish and chips.

Ordered a large cod! Small next time! Very friendly place. Been a few times now and always good quality and service.

Excellent. Service and the food was fantastic. The portion sizes are very very good. Highly recommended them to anyone.

I was disappointed to find my expectations weren't matched to the experience. Fish batter was excellent but fish seemed to be out of a freezer. Mushy peas were too hard. Chips were a little soggy. In my opinion they could do better. I travelled miles on a recommendation. But I was totally disappointed.

I have read the response and I must reply.
I expect my meal to be the best it can be and not to have to complain. The responsibility for the meal lies not with the purchaser but with the person presenting the meal. Is it acceptable to present a meal and to expect the person to be satisfied. I believe so. It is not for the purchaser to ask for numerous options or replacements when the initial product was lacking. It is the responsibility of the producer to present a quality product. My complaint was that the presented meal was not of a standard I had been expecting. It is the producers responsibility to ensure the product is of the best standard they can produce, first time of asking. Not to ask for a second chance. First impressions count. Would my replacement from the same producer have been so much different? If so why not first time? Thank you.

Best fish and chips had in a while. We ordered out, to take away, and 3 large haddock was more than enough for 4 people. Large chips are also huge, enough for two people.

Incredible food, better than most fish and chip shops back home! Super crispy batter on both jumbo sausage and cod, chips were decent and bread was generously buttered. Would definitely return if i was in the area!

Just been to fishy fishy, had the Monday Madness meal Cod chips home made colsaw 1/2 bottle of wine €950, the fish was so light and delicious as was the chips and closlaw fantastic meal for us 3, I would definitely recommend this place lovely friendly staff and great food also nice cup of tea.
I would just like to also thank the very kind person that paid our bill, you did say you had paid but we didn't believe you!

Fishy is the word, if you eat in the dinning area you will leave smelling like a deep fat fryer. Since writing this review Fishy Fishy have extended the dining area and you no longer suffer the kitchen atmosphere. 5 Stars, super bueno.

The food was out of this world delicious. 7 of us had dinner here on the last night of our holiday to Moriara in August.
They serve a wonderful cup of tea (we missed that being in Spain for 2 weeks) highly recommend

Fish good, batter mediocre, soggy chips. Not very good value.

I am gluten intolerant and had heard that Fishy Fishy did gluten free fish and chips. We called at lunchtime and quickly realised that we should have phoned ahead to warn of my allergy to allow them to prepare and turn in the separate fryer and so forth.
However they made no fuss and simply got on with it. My wife and I were well fed with one gluten free fish and chips and one ordinary.
The food was perfect in every way as was the service. The price was also very fair. My advice, get there allergy or not. However to be fair to Fishy Fishy please phone ahead to inform them of allergies.

Had their special lunch menu. Great fish and chips + glass of wine for €6.95.pleasant staff and really tasty food.

Amazing service, food and a great feeling all to boot! We ordered a takeaway for 11 including a gluten free fish option (WOW). Not only was all the food amazing and huge portions, it was delivered with a great conversation and a free bottle of wine!

Esta bien para comer fish&chips fuera del Reino unido pero:

En el menu infantil ofrecen salchichas, al pedirlo nos traen una mini salchicha y un kilo de patatas.
Esta bien que sea un sitio de pescado pero si no quieren vender carnes que lo quiten del menú.

Para ir alli mejor que hables Ingles si no es dificil aclararte.

Ordered a large cod medium cod large chips and two mushy peas, a beer and Fanta while we waited for our take out €25.
Batter just tasted of bad over used oil and a burn after taste, chips where ok until I’d had the fish then all I could taste on the chips was burn oil, mushy peas were spot on and not to watery. Nice staff but bad food!
