SELLERS BEWARE -

I was interested in viewing two properties, with the view to purchasing one.

I am a cash buyer.

I emailed Petra Honig 2 or 3 times to arrange viewings and didn't get ANY response whatsoever (not even an acknowledgement). It was only when I sent a 'complaining' email, did I finally get a response.

It seems this company does not want to sell properties - MY ADVICE IS
- SELLERS GO ELSEWHERE.

Will never deal direct. As staff do not tell the truth, and try an trick you in to deposits and contract, and the manager backed them up.

Alex, who handled our sale from valuation to completion was an absolute star, nothing was too much trouble for him and he ALWAYS returned my calls a pleasure to do business with, I did also find the rest of staff that I came into contact with were equally helpful.

We bought our house QuesadathroughPetra Honig and we would thoroughly recommend them. We dealt with a young man named Alex and you could not meet a nicer young chap. He took us through the whole procedure and gave us lots of advice and tips. Alex has been a great help even after the sale has gone through and we now consider Alex as a friend not just someone who helped us buy a house.

From walking in the door to browse property for sale to collecting the keys to our new house 3 months later Petra managed the whole process for us and it could not have been easier. Having their own in house legal team and giving them power of attorney allowed them to take care of all the paperwork without us having to jet to and from Spain and sit in legal offices for hours on end and they organised bank accounts and changed over all the utility bills for us as well. We were introduced to Currencies Direct by Petra which made the transfer of funds painless and secure, and fixing the rates probably saved us £16k. Particular thanks to Alex at Petra who could not have been more friendly and professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, phone calls and emails always replied to quickly no matter what the day or time.

having dealt with Petra and her team on more than one occasion.in fact over the 14 years I've been in Spain I would say it's more like 8 possibly 9 times. Excellent service from the begining, when we were searching for a suitable property, until we closed the deal and bought our “place in the sun”. Alex Chao, who was our main contact, was very nice and helpfull and always responded quickly when we needed answers to our questions or any other help. We got all the help we needed from the staff at Petra Hönig Inmobiliaria, who are really working as a team, so there was no need for any other legal advisors.

We bought out first property in Spain in March 2017 through Petra Honig and we also let them do the "legal work" for us - which is something I would not normally do. Alex handled the purchase and always responded to our e-mails or texts and everything went smoothly - with no surprises!

We decided to move inland and after 11 months we contacted Alex who negotiated a good rate for us and then sold our property in less than one week! As they handled everything for the purchase and the sale they are now reclaiming the 3% retention for us - which is so much easier when they have all the paperwork.

We would not hesitate in using them in the future - a first class and efficient business.
