Puerta del Mar-Kiosko Rafael

Compartimos un plato de arroz (a 18€/persona) estaba bueno pero digno de una ración para una persona, parece mucho porque el plato es grande pero es solo una base.estábamos lejos de estar llenos, también cogimos una garrafa de sangría, estaba buena pero nada más y la rellenamos, sin exagerar, con cubitos de hielo. El lugar y el ambiente es agradable pero no lo recomendamos.

Un poco caro para tomarse algo.además te cobran por unas aceitunas o unas patatas 2,50€. Y ojo, las patatas es una bolsa de aire sin abrir que te ponen sobre un plato (no se molestan ni en sacarlas y ponerlas en el platito directamente), pequeña y con 1/4 de de contenido en patatas, el resto de la bolsa es aire.vamos, 4 patatas fritas por 2,50€.

Falta variedad de platos para vegetarianos pero en términos generales muy buen lugar. La vista es lo destacable

Mi experiencia con mi pareja podemos decir que fue regular, los camareros muy poco empaticos con los clientes y en cuanto a la comida, la paella deja mucho que desear, aunque el resto de la comida si estaba muy rica.

Las 3 estrellas son porque hay cosas que mejorar ya que no todo estuvo mal, el lugar en sí es muy agradable y creo que volvería en un futuro si se comprometen a mejorar.

Excelente ubicación justo al lado de la playa. También hay un área de juegos con temática pirata para los niños, fácilmente supervisada desde el restaurante.

Pas terrible au niveau des cocktails mais service agréable. Bien mais loin d'être inoubliable pour un bar/restaurant de plage.

Ya no se llama puerta del mar. Se llama mediterraneum. Antes con las cervezas ponían un platito de patatas fritas, ya no lo ponen. La jarra de cerveza 5 euros, un vermú izaguirre 5 euros. Caro. Sitio para turistas.

Amazing little restaurant by the beach.we just step off the bus and it was the first place we saw.we were there around 10am local time the places was fairly quite so staff all around.i would say only talk English to the staff in white shirt as there are the main people who handle foreign hoilday maker.while the staff in black shirt mainly handle cooking.we got a great offer too as at the time there were breakfast for 6 euro.so got a little chip, rice, egg and Spanish becon which is lot better then the smoke we had in the UK

Great location on the edge of the beach. Nice spot for drinks and maybe a snack but I wouldn't recommend for a meal. It's a little pricy which is understandable due to the location however the food is very bland.

Un buen arroz abanda muy digno para ser un lugar turístico. Un arroz y dos copas para una sola persona, 21,50€. No está mal y el servicio es de calidad

Mala educación y peor servicio. Increíble tener que decirlo de un bar de mi propia ciudad. Totalmente desaconsejado y espero que cambien pronto de gerente. Buscar otro lugar tanto si estás de turista como si vives aquí.

A superb spot for people watching. We arrived at the end of service and easily got a table but I bet it would have been a wait earlier in the afternoon. I was drawn in by the sign offering ‘Boquerones fritos’. They were absolutely wonderful. Nothing fancy, just lovely. The wine was good too. When I knocked over and smashed my glass the staff were great and another full glass appeared as the broken shards were swept away. The seating is all exterior, with some shelter from the sun and glass panels to keep the sea breeze at bay. Worth a visit.

El camarero es un maleducado, malas caras, muy poca educación y algo agresivo en sus actitudes. No hemos puesto una hoja de reclamación por qué habéis tenido la suerte de que estamos de paso y no vamos a perder nuestro valioso tiempo en gente así, pero vamos personas con tan pocas ganas de trabajar y de estar cara el público.lo mejor que pueden hacer es quedarse en su casa.

Coffee was good. Beer served in ice cold glasses. Salad mediocre. Croquets fine. Staff is friendly and definitely not enough for such a big and busy place like this. Beach and sea view makes up for some imperfections.

Prácticamente nos han echado del lugar recogiendo todo antes siquiera de que acabemos las bebidas, ni siquiera preguntaron si habíamos acabado o podían empezar a recoger, directamente metieron la mano en nuestra mesa y empezaron a llevarlo todo. Además, un minuto después llegó el camarero a “preguntar” si necesitábamos algo más, pero se notaba que solo quería darnos la cuenta. Cabe destacar que esto solo lo hacían en nuestra mesa (que somos de Latinoamérica) y no con los ingleses o alemanes que estaban en otras mesas cercanas.

Es war viel los, die Bedienung war trotzdem freundlich. Es ist leider zu wenig Personal da, deshalb kommt es zu Wartezeiten. Preise sind ok

We could have the same in the supermarket. The waiters are not friendly and the cocktails are awful.
I'm not used to critisize but it was thé worth restaurant in my life.

Expected expensive poor quality food as near the beach and cruise berth. But wrong. Food very tasty, fresh, hot and inexpensive! Lovely burger and fries
However only one loo, everyone was queing for. Not nice, i gave up. The staff were hard to find to take an order even tho back and forth passed us. Seemed like they were ignoring us? Then it was hard to obtain the bill to pay it. But would go again if the loo was open.

Really good tapas!
We visited this place twice on our Alicante trip because we liked it that much! The tapas were delicious and all fresh and homemade. Service was very friendly. Not the fastest, but we were not hurried at all. We stayed here for over 3 hours and had the most amazing time eating tapas, drinking sangria and enjoying the sun. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic place. Allthough obviously a tourist trap, but if you do not care about prices, you get exactly what you came to Alicante for. You can allways try a back alley somewhere, but this place has great wine, paella, it is on the beach with sunshine and ocean breeze. This is Alicante, and its perfect.

Espectacular, acogedor, frente a la Playa del Postiguet. Comida de tapas buenas, frescas, Boquerones asados. Calamares a la plancha, con toque de salsa verde.adicionamos papas fritas. Bebidas bien frías.personal excelente y rápido para servir, Aseos ahí a la disposición.

Cuatro patatas mal contadas con la hamburguesa por 5€, con pan de los de cuatro a euro del carrefour. No volveré aquí.

The food is horrible, which could be expected when your place is more focused towards drinks. However, it shouldn't be put on the menu. It could be expected that the sandwiches could be decent however these were horrible as well. The good point is that it's not too pricy and the location is good. But you can also buy some food at the supermarket and go and sit on the beach for the same experience. Wouldn't recommend.

A little gem - lovely staff and a veryreasonably priced menu - ideal to sit, drink and watch the world go by.

An example of a very overpriced cafe. The salad of 10 euros is just a mixture of canned vegetables (even not mixed tho), little bones in chicken meet inside the hamburger. Only one guy from the staff was quite polite and good at his job. Do not recommend at all.

Terrible service and food is bad, the artichoke for 8 euros you get the one from a can, and the waiter brought us the wrong order after a long wait. Overall terrible place

Buena relación calidad-precio. Adecuado para tomar unas tapas frente al mar. Nos han gustado especialmente los boquerones fritos. Recomendamos sus helados. Personal muy atento y amable.

Service was fine, the waiters didn't seem like they were having their best day. The chef is to blame for this rating. The swordfish was raw which in itself is a health hazard. Luckily my cousin only took one bite from the edge of it. The pizzas are microwaved which was the only thing on the menu that was edible. The deputy manager, Taras, I believe was his name, was very friendly and understanding of the situation. We paid for what we ate and then promptly left. Great view and prices for its menu (taking view and location into consideration).

Servicio pésimo por parte de los camareros, desagradables y condescendientes. Media hora para servir dos cervezas. La comida es de calidad y elaborada pero la atención al cliente deja mucho que desear.

Unfortunately we found the food here to be despicable. Probably frozen food warmed up and sold for an unjustified high price. I am sorry not to recommend this place and do not usually comment, but we were really disappointed.
