Great food again, very well cooked. Well presented as can be seen. Staff were very friendly. Great price, this place is a must to visit; never had a bad meal here.

L'accueil est juste correct. Nous avons attendu environ 30 mn pour un hamburger et un fish and chips.
Le pain du hamburger était sec et froid et il n'avait aucune saveur. Idem pour le fish and chips l'impression de manger que de la panure et les portions sont radines pour le prix. Nous n'y retournerons pas

My party of 8 stayed in May 2022 and found this pub to be excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the owner. We ate breakfast here every day and a couple of evenings and found the food and drinks to be very good. The atmosphere is excellent especially on Wednesday evenings when the brilliant Lucid Acoustic provide the entertainment. Best pub in the area.

First time I went in there and the beer was lovely as were the staff. Didn't eat, so can't comment on that, but say lots of people eating and enjoying it.

Service not bad, but food was not very warm. I think new owners are trying hard, I should have asked for meal to be re heated

Place is ok but really dated, staff were really nice too, what we had to eat was basic but again it was ok, we won't be going back though sorry

Food was cold, not helped by sitting outside, but first mouthfall was cold, table had not been wiped either, when got busy, hard to get a drink

Excellent staff serving even better food. Nikki and her team have worked extremely hard during lock down to turn this place around. Well worth a visit, if you manage to find a table. Might be better booking. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic family bar. Bouncy castle, children's play area, to one side, Large terrace for a relaxing drink or something to eat. Staff very attentive and friendly. Lovely owner, very welcoming. Lots of entertainment for all. Highly recommended

Were there a Saturday afternoon and a girl with a lovely voice was singing. A big terrass and a nice area to have an aperitif. Will go there again. Only minus was the slow service.

Very pleasantly surprised by the food, came here years ago and wasn't fussed but they have vastly improved. Great service, great value for money and friendly staff. Worth the visit.

Went in on Xmas Eve with my family for a substantial meal before they flew home. No chef so all they could offer was bar snacks. Left & went somewhere else. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Friendly service with a very good choice and great food. Sunday lunch was excellent and plenty of it. Wish I could get the recipe for that fabulous gravy lol. If we lived nearer we would be there every Sunday, and in the week I'm sure but as only visiting for a few days from Cuevas del Almanzora, it's a bit of a drive.

If your looking for a piece of home whilst your away give the Royal Oak a try. Good meals and very reasonable drinks. Friendly staff and owners who always remember you.

Went for a bit of lunch and opted for a toastie and some chips. The toastie was very nice and had plenty of cheese! Would return again but would like to see more options. However was accomdating enough to do my partner a prawn baguette, which wasn't on the menu. Both came with a healthy size of salad and coleslaw as well, both tasted very fresh, would come again no problem.

Speckled Hen in draught. Absolute bliss. The large wine is not large it's massive. Cracking place. If you want a great pint that's not lager get yourself here for a superb pint of Speckled Hen on draught.

We sat outside and had Sunday lunch. They have a kids play area so that is great. Food was good, friendly staff and not too expensive. Will defo go back!

Nosotros fuimos por primera vez por los niños. Pero no sé si por ser españoles o porqué no nos trataron nada bien, no sé porqué se han montado un bar en España con cosas para niños si no les gustan ni los españoles ni los niños.

The staff have been amazing here full of friendly advice on places to visit. We ate here when we first arrived and it was lovely. We passed by nearly every day and it was lovely to see kids playing in the play area parents relaxing and enjoying the food and drinks. Best pint we have had while on holiday here.

Great place to relax while your kids entertain themselves on the park, bouncy castle and game machines.

Happy hour 5-7, food is good, smaller portions but the price is ideal and the food quality n quantity is ample n fulfilling

Polite and helpful waitress serving good food at very reasonable prices. Happy hour also saving money on drink prices. Excellent for families with bouncy castle and other amusements in the garden area very impressed with food at the prices well worth a visit.

We went for the quiz night and then had something to eat there staff so friendly and helpful in any way whatsoever you want.well we're a fisit good food not expensive they there for hours.

Went for the first time last week and we thought it was superb. Excellent food at really good prices.
We were made to feel really welcome.
I will be returning next time I'm back in Spain.
If you haven't been I highly recommend you try.

A lovely english pub with very friendly staff and a great play area for the kids to have fun whilst you relax and enjoy the sunshine. It also has a very cosy interior that has a very English feel. Highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic find! Thoroughly enjoyed Sunday lunch, fish cake starter was so tasty & husband loved the soup! The beef dinner was delicious! No room for dessert but they looked lovely, excellent value & to top it off I received a glass of fizz & went away with a lovely plant for mother’s day! The little touches make the difference, definitely be back on next visit

Been going here for the passed 17 years. Visited this year and very disappointed food was small portions and the service wasn't as it used to be. Won't be going anymore!

Microwaved food poor quality went for Sunday lunch would have been better to get a microwave meal from the supermarket would probably have been better. Nothing seemed to be cooked could only hear microwaves pinging. Meat on lunch was processed out of a packet and poor quality

Great local pub we found when looking around staying in a villa. Nice English staff and owners. Kids area to play too, had a bouncy castle set up when we was here. Pool table inside too.
Food was nice basic English food available too like fish and chips, roast etc

Terrible food and service, Had roast chicken Sunday lunch chicken was very tasteless everything was either microwaved or kept warm at low temp, cook I cannot call her a chef was observed wiping her nose with tea towel then using it to take food out of microwave, needless to say food was sent back and asked for bill to be altered, would not recommend to anyone I was also ill the next day eat at your own peril plenty of good restaurants 5mins walk away

Service was great. Child and family freindly. Food and drink served straight away.
Hone cooked hot food and the service was the best I've had by far.
Would 100% recommend especially if with children.
Great play area with free bouncy castle.
