We had such a wonderful time at Monk House in Petworth. The house is beautiful and steeped in history. All of the rooms are very cosy, each with a different feel and the beds and bedding were super luxurious. The master bedroom has a beautiful view of the garden which had lots of birds and butterflies visiting. The weather was gorgeous for our stay and we had two BBQ dinners in the sun. Micheal our congierge met us at the house to let us in and show us around, and was available by phone for any queries. Micheal kindly agreed for us to check out late as there was no booking the next day. The house is directly opposite Petworth House and park and we spent hours in the park enjoying the birds and deer. We visited Pulborough Brooks RSPB bird sanctuary which was only 10 minutes drive, and went for a swim in the local river. Petworth itself is so lovely and quaint and we were lucky that Petworth Festival was happening while we were there. We saw a world rebound trombone player at the church 1 minute away. We will definitely be back!

Preciosa casa rústica, todo cuidado hasta el último detalle, con una cesta de bienvenida que nunca habíamos visto, muy recomendable!

La estancia en la casa de Finestrat ha sido inmejorable. Llegamos jueves por la noche y estaban los anfitriones esperandonos para entregarnos las llaves y acompañarnos a la vivienda. La vivienda se encuentra dividida en varios pisos siendo en el primero la sala de estar y con un servicio de vinos. En otra planta esta la cocina y la mesa para comer todo equipado correctamente. Las demás plantas están destinadas a habitaciones todas ellas con baño propio. Finalmente tiene dos terrazas, donde en una de ellas tiene jacuzzi y barbacoa y con unas vistas impresionantes. Hay que decir que la vivienda está totalmente equipada y con aire acondicionado en todas sus estancias. Se encuentra situada en un lugar céntrico del casco antiguo y siendo el pueblo pequeño todo lo que necesitas se encuentra a un paso. Además, con un pequeño desplazamiento en coche puedes ir a Benidorm. También es un lugar privilegiado para disfrutar de la montaña y la tranquilidad que ofrece. Hemos pasado un fin de semana perfecto y sin duda volveremos a repetir.

I had high expectations, browsing their website gave me all the information I needed, and made the choice to celebrate my fiancées birthday here. We arrived to the metro station and were immediately greeted by our kind and helpful concierge. We were promptly driven to the villa, a gorgeous home in the middle of the Valencian fields, surrounded by the orange groves and fertile land, we knew, before entering the house (feels like a home) that we made the right choice. Upon entry we were dumfounded at the astounding ambiance the house enveloped us in, all utilities were impeccably clean, a full spice rack, and range of pots and pans to choose from (my future wife and I are avid cooks, so this was absolutely perfect for our style of vacationing). We were given very useful information about the town around us, highlighting good places to wine and dine at. We used the bicycles to take a short ride to Port Saplaya, a lovely beach side town that resembles a little Venice, there we drank and ate until our hearts were content. We took a longer route back to that house which was simply marvellous, the Valencian landscape is truly something to behold. When we got back we made use of the fire place, and warmed ourselves near the hearth with a bottle of wine from their "honesty bar", I cant recall the name of the bottle, but it was damn good. Later we used the bathtub on the top floor and relaxed and laughed for hours, to later resign to the elegant and extremely comfortable bed.

The whole experience was effortless, and fruitful. We will be returning, no doubt in my mind.

A great place to spend some time away from a hectic lifestyle. I went with my better half for a relaxing weekend. What I like the most about this place is the homely feeling- with the fireplace and the good spaced kitchen. The house is surrounded by fields but it's not far to bike in to the closest town or to the ocean. The many beds and good amount of private spaces in and around the house makes this a perfect place to spend some time with family or friends. Our bed and the bathtubs were my favourite things, we ate good and played boardgames, in the summer I can imagine coming here to spend more time in the wonderful outside space- by the bbq.

My partner and I stayed here for a wonderful weekend. The hosts were there to welcome us upon arrival and led us through some of the property’s amenities like heating, where to find the bicycles, and places of interest. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful cabbage, onion and artichoke fields and boasts of fabulous country lanes for walks or bike rides. Some bike lanes lead all the way down the riverbed. The house has both Aircon and heating, which makes it ideal for winter and summer stays. We used the log fire downstairs which warmed the entire lounge, dining and kitchen area and used the heating in the master bedroom. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has a very homely& cosy feel. Outside there is a small natural filtered pool to cool off in the summer, a barbecue and seating areas which were great to enjoy a glass of wine in the picturesque countryside. There are supermarkets close by, which we were able to cycle to. Valencia city centre is just a 20 min drive away, or you can catch a metro within walking distance from the property. The city is beautiful; filled with cathedrals, museums, restaurants and a great aquarium. The property is very tranquil and sleeps 6 adults and two children which makes it a great place for a family stay. The hosts were fabulous and very happy to help. We would highly recommend ‘Partida de la Mar’ if you are looking for a peaceful getaway, with the option of being just a few KM away from a beautiful city.

Superb accommodation with excellent hosts. The location is in a lovely rural area not far from the beach. Four bicycles are available to explore the area. The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms. Highly recommend.
