Segway Trip Valencia

Muy buen chico y mostró mucho de la ciudad. Contado con mucho entusiasmo. Fue muy flexible al proporcionarnos a una de nosotras, que está embarazada, una bicicleta eléctrica porque el Segway sería peligroso. Así que piense también. ¡Muchas gracias pasamos una tarde genial!

lamentablemente nos retrasamos porque es bastante difícil aparcar en Valencia. Afortunadamente no fue un problema y al final éramos los únicos que habíamos reservado para esa franja horaria. Tuvimos un supervisor muy amable: Sebastiaan. Nos dio una explicación clara de cómo funciona el Segway y luego nos fuimos a la hort.

Sabía mucho sobre la historia y también nos preguntó si queríamos tomar una foto. También estuvo muy abierto a conversar con nosotros. Gente súper amable y además nos ofrecieron agua gratis. Definitivamente los recomiendo muy amables y amigables con los turistas si pudiera dar más estrellas definitivamente lo haría! Saludos desde amsterdam

Nos lo pasamos muy bien. El anfitrión fue muy complaciente, especialmente cuando ninguno de nosotros usó Segways antes. Demostró cómo usarlos correctamente y fue muy paciente con nosotros cuando estábamos aprendiendo el oficio. No puedo recomendar esta excursión lo suficiente.

Chelo y Juan fueron unos anfitriones increíbles, desde subirse a nuestros Segways hasta explorar la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente este recorrido! ¡Gracias!

We had a great experience with our Segway tour guide Sebastian; he was passionate about Valencia, knowledgeable and friendly. His English was great, and his enthusiasm for the city was charming and made us appreciate Valencia and the history.

Firstly, we booked and paid in advance for the 2 hours via get your guide app (same prices as per the photo). It was easy to get there via maps and we arrived early as advised 15 mins. We were able to read/ sign the health and safety paper, leave some items in the back room and use the washroom. The reception lady was welcoming and we were able to communicate (despite our limited Spanish).

Our tour started off lucky; there was only two of us at the time and Seb the guide. So felt like a private tour and we already used Segway’s before so did not need any basic training (which they do provide), so we saved time there.

Our destination was the Arts and Science museum, so went via Torres de Serranos Gate, Turia Gardens (which was nice as during the midday there were lots of activities such as a salsa class outside). We were going at a decent speed (but safe) pace through the gardens that we were using the cycle lanes (so definitely faster than walking and running, though not as fast as some bikes). Seb provided a nice amount of historic facts as we arrived, provided suggestions for food and drinks. Helped us take some great photos, videos and also let us go at a few fast speed during a clear runway near the Arts and Science museum.

Overall first class experience and service. I would highly recommend Sebastian as the guide and the company he represents; great way to explore the wonderful city.

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL our group of 3 competed a 2 hour Segway tour with Sebastian last weekend. The Segway is quite easy to use once the instructions are completed. Sebastian was a super guide; providing us with just the right amount of information to satisfy our interest. He also pointed out some of the more unusual highlights of the city - speakers arch at the city of arts & sciences and introduced us to Horchata. Thank you Sebastian for making this the highlight of our visit to Valencia

Excellent idea to see the city and have fun. The Segway is safe and easy to drive. Our guide Sebastian told us a lot about the city and showed us the best spots for art, food and drinks. Loved it

Experiencia brutal!
Fui con mis hijos, y verdad es que fue un acierto total. Prejuicios míos dudaron si mi hija pequeña conseguiría dominar la actividad, y desde el primer momento, le cogió el truco. Los 3 lo pasamos genial. Dimos un paseo por los parques del Turia.
La atención es excelente. En recepción una chica que se esfuerza mucho por hacerse entender en castellano (perdón por no recordar el nombre). Y como guía, Sebastian, un crack que hizo que el paseo fuera muy divertido. Teníamos 1 hora, y se nos pasó volando.
500% recomendable!

We had a pretty good guide (called Sebastian, I think). He asked us at first what we are looking for. We chose the tour half oldtown, half old river bed. So we drove through the oldtown with a few photo stops (to learn something about the history of Valencia). After that we moved to the old river bed. To enjoy the nature a bit outside of the oldtown.
We really recommend this tour provider.ps: we also got a few spots we should visit to eat (Tapas) and drink (aqua de Valencia) something:)

Abbiamo trascorso 2h molto piacevoli e divertenti con la nostra guida Julia che è stata molto gentile, disponibile e preparata in merito alla storia della città. Abbiamo fatto una prima visita a qualche luogo storico per poi dirigerci nel parco per un percorso "avventuroso". Ci è piaciuto molto e lo consigliamo come esperienza alternativa.

Loved the experience of visiting old Valencia! Do visit the lebanese street shop nearby for great lebanese food!

Ok, so that was the worst tour in my traveling career for so many reasons:

1) the tour started 30 minutes later than it was supposed to (though we were 10 minutes early to get ready and do the paperwork). When you have 10 hours in Valencia - 30 minutes waiting is a lot.

2) the driving part was not fun due to 5km/h speed limit our guide Chelo asked us to follow. It’s same speed we usually walk! But we chose Segway to see more, in the end we saw almost nothing. Every scooter or bicycles were moving faster than us. It’s strange that the rule not to exceed 5 km/h was strictly followed by our guide, but talking on the phone and smoking while driving was ok for her.

3) when the guide was while driving, we inhaled all the smoke from the cigarettes when we were following her.

4) the guide Chelo was the opposite of energetic. The information she provided us about the city was scarce. It was neither interesting, nor engaging.

5) we didn’t see ANY of the beautiful Valencia city. The tour started from their address and we headed straight to the Turia garden - which by the way is not worth a visit, it’s an average park with a few bridges. So we were driving there and for the most part of the 2 hour tour. And then we went to the city of science. It was ok.

If I knew what kind of experience is waiting for us, I wouldn’t have taken the tour (waistline 2 hours and 120 euros) I’d take a taxi to the city of science and then walk in the city center instead.

Sencillamente estupendo. Fui con mi novio inglés y Pablo fue perfectamente capaz de explicarle todo con un muy alto nivel de inglés. Desde lo histórico (con todo su vocabulario técnico), hasta lo más moderno. Contentísimos los dos!
