Excelente lugar, la comida es excelente y una buena relación calidad-precio, el personal es muy servicial y alegre, un servicio fantástico, el almuerzo del domingo fue excelente y abundante.

Siempre gran diversión aquí! ¡Especialmente cuando Pid está activado! Pub brillante, y el mejor de la zona también.

Taberna tipica. Si estás dispuesto a hacerlo, está bien. De lo contrario, busque otro lugar.

El asado del domingo fue increíble, la cena de gran tamaño y el personal, amable y muy acogedor, hicieron todo lo posible por nosotros. Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita. Volveremos por más.

The locals are used to drinking the same stout, lager and cider. Personally I think it is a bit limited, too few brands to select. A part from that it is a good place for eating, watching football and the funny people trying to sing.

Watched the rugby last week Ireland in the six nations had lunch and a drink. Great atmosphere and service. Lots of English and Irish residents and tourists enjoying the day.

Very good food and good service from attentive staff. Had a lovely afternoon there on the terrace in the sunshine with good entertainment.

5th visit so 5 stars! Great place for a drink! Love the old cantankerous chap in the bar, refused to deny or admit that he was Santa Claus!
As ever, food bang on had the platter for 4 of us!
Not sure if the bloke singing as I was well tanked by that point! Threw a few shapes on the dance floor! Looking forward to next time!

Fantastic pub, lovely staff, had the roast today and it was really nice, massive portion, proppa gravy! Would definitely recommend.

Will definitely return to The Gate. We were made welcome by friendly, helpful staff and the food was excellent. Special nod to their entertainment, some of the best around.

Group of 4 visited last weekend. Dud not book as we thought it was November and likely to be quiet but it was busy. However a member of staff meet us and and sorted a table out for us, gave us menus and took our drinks orders. The food order was a mixture of 4 main courses with a few starters and one dessert.all were presented well served promptly and very tasty. The server was very professional and ensured that everyone was looked after. Great food at great value.we will be back.

Los lugareños están acostumbrados a beber la misma cerveza negra, lager y sidra. Personalmente creo que es un poco limitado, muy pocas marcas para seleccionar. Aparte de eso, es un buen lugar para comer, ver fútbol y la gente divertida que intenta cantar.

Muy buena comida y buen servicio del personal atento. Pasé una tarde encantadora allí en la terraza bajo el sol con buen entretenimiento.

Went here for a Sunday Lunch and it was fantastic! Great service and live music. Will for sure go back for a burger and a few more beers.

The St James Gate was very friendly and easy going. The service is good, the coffee is great and well priced. We had a nice evening meal which was well cooked and reasonably priced. The night we were there was fairly quiet but they often have music and events. It is also family friendly.

Staff were beautiful and polite and friendlyFood excellent. Band brilliant. But mosquitoes are rampant. More bug lights needed everywhere

Me ha encantado este PUB del que hacía tiempo me habían hablado. Ayer mi mujer y yo pudimos degustar una de las cañas mejor tiradas que recuerdo. Personal muy atento y amable. Terraza gigante.

Everything you want when you go to an Irish pub, good food good beer, entertainment and sport on TV. Great.

Excellent place to go for a drink, the staff and local people were fantastic the cold lager was lovely and cold? And the wife's wine was brilliant, the DJ was great too lovely pub nice and clean must gell your hands and wear a mask when entering inside we will definitely be going back 10/10

Purchase a pack of crisps + a can of Barr's ginger beer, can marked 49p charged 4.00 Euros. Not be coming back

Loved meeting blNeil and the owners, revisiting this lovely friendly pub after many years. Give it a try they are all so welcoming. Sue and Charlie from Quesada. They have food too and Sport on TV for our lads too but also welcome all us ladies.and make you feel special. Had a lovely few hours there and will go back again very soon. Atrocious reception from a young fella behind the bar, no bar person has ever been that rude to me. I paid for my drinks and walked out, leaving them on the bar.

Good pint of Guinness but not as good as home but still nice.back again oct 2018 this review pint is lovely.

Went tonight based on previous reviews. Didn't get to eat as they stopped taking orders for food.
