Very nice place with lots of bars and restaurants where you can find all types of food, good wines and perfect atmosphere for holiday! Nice music and entertainment!

Boaring plazza need more things to attract us again winter is diabolacle terrable nothing open bar a few shocking!

Is ok I been see on the TV Place in the sun so many times and I did thought to go there. Is smaller than looks on the TV, but is ok cute.loads to eat and drink x

What can you say about the Plaza! Immensely popular with holidaymakers ex-pats and second home owners. Loads of bars and restaurants to enjoy with some better than others but everywhere I have been here is ok. Great night out more family and middle aged orientated than a trendy place to hang out but I love it and look forward to going back. Activities and entertainment have been a bit curtailed by the covid crisis eg the usual summer Live music extravaganzas of old are parked for now but hope that gets back to normal soon.

Not a good day/evening as the fish was very dry did not enjoy at all sorry to say! Will be a while before we come back very disappointed

Visited the Plaza for the first time in a while last night. Had a very enjoyable meal outside Che Argentine restaurant but the experience was spoiled by so many establishments blasting their sounds out. Seemed like they were all competing with each other and this led to an awful sound of different songs colliding. Certainly not an ideal setting to sit and eat food. One bar in particular on the upper level was showing no respect for anyone.

Watched some great bands here. Also eaten in top class restaurants like Fairways, Eduardos, Hens Teeth, chez and many more

Most bars and restaurants opened for lunch and craft market last Sunday of the month so worth a visit

Considerable need of a revamp, most notably from the charmless if not grotty lower level front entrance with, sadly, rather too many of its restaurants that are either just 'ok' or not worth returning to. Eduardos is one example. Very smart looking interior. Nice service, Reasonably priced. Food as bland as hell.
Max's (pictured) is another to avoid for its lacklustre food, including the fish & chips which tasted 'old. '

Quesada fish & chips restaurant serves orange, rubbery chips, unremarkable fish (the batter is, presumably as cheap as chips) and has an unfriendly, oppressive air about it where people will stare in your direction but there's no chance of a smile.
It's the only place I have ever experienced with this 'odd vibe' about it. Watching some baldy bloke defiantly drop a large lump of phlegmy spit into a bin summed it up. I say 'defiantly. ' He looked up, saw me looking aghast.wasn't phased remotely. He spent the rest of the time not wearing his covid mask properly.
Just a rough-edged, charmless 'slop. '

The Hens Teeth* was the best, reasonably-priced restaurant I tried but I mostly gave up on the Plaza over a year ago so am not bang up to date. (* It's still good, very good, actually; had the New York burger. It was spot on as, again, was the attentive, friendly 'normal' service.)

Villamartin Plaza is, mostly, some way short on the much better standard of restaurants you will discover effortlessly either La Zenia Boulevard or Playa Flamenca commercial centre. (I would give the charmless, aloof-cum-rude all-out-of-a-box 'Semana 8' a miss at the latter venue, however. Having studied many of Semana 8's reviews from various sites and fallen victim myself - my own review refers- they can be distinctly less than charming, even for the Chinese which, unless you speak Chinese, are historically remote at best. Or downright miserable. Seems to depend on numbers. And heaven forbid if you go in on your own during 'happy hour. ' Trade description anomaly there, me thinks. No thanks to all that, then; why take the risk?).

Meanwhile, back at the Plaza.

It does seem to remain popular (convenient, more likely?) with tourists however and, by nightlight and especially with live music from the central podium, it is pleasant enough. There have been some improvements in the last year in terms of restaurant standard and appearance.

Steakstones is worth a go. Try the cheaper steak; it's novel to cook it yourself on the hot stone it comes on. The male owner (name escapes me, from Dublin) is a nice guy who knows how to host.

Some brickwork on one of the staircases -visible from Eduardo's- appeared in urgent need of repair in May 2018, with a large disconcerting crack zig-zagging through its mortar. (photo: Oct '18.if it ever uploads.it never did despite multiple attempts.) Nothing since done by the management, then. Perhaps if it collapses and falls on a young family's heads they might be driven to issue a statement?

Very Nice shopping. All shops available. Also populair brands like Zara.or Rituals. Snacks and tapas bar or burger. Or Just a cold or hot drink. All a good fashionista wants.

Very quiet hence little atmosphere but it is only to be expected. Great if you want a quiet meal with a choice of restaurants

Shame it's being spoilt by several bars and restaurants being under the same ownership and don't live up to expectations. Best bar is Chemies and best restaurant Fairways in my opinion

Due to covid. Alot of bars etc not open. It's devastating as normally the place to be during summer. Great food and even Greater entertainment.

Excellent mix of bars & restaurant's - more than enough to suit everyone. All doing their very best in these difficult times & deserve great praise.

This place used to be great, but now it's all about the music and paying no attention to COVID-19 ️ rules, the plaza is quite now and I believe the plaza has encouraged not wearing masks and keeping a distance, I've felt uneasy there lately and won't go back until the Coronavirus ️ is respected or there's a vaccination. Unfortunately I feel that the Plaza bought this on themselves

Hub of Villamartin, great selection of bars and restaurants.also has banks, hairdressers, and a tatoo studio. The restaurants suit all budgets, a great sports bar is on the top floor!

All ways love the Square for its variety. Unfortunately we were there in the middle of a Covid plague and it was so quiet.

Didn't enjoy it at all bad language lack of mask wearing not somewhere to take your wife. We won't be going back

Went there on Wednesday to celebrate my birthday by having a nice meal in The Fairways Restaurant but was very disappointed as they were closed

Great night out in the Plaza. Chemis is a great little place for a drink. Hens Teeth does fab food.

I have always enjoyed going to The Plaza. This year we visited during the COVID restrictions. We saw too many people walking around without masks. Even the security guard wore his mask on his chin. Nobody was enforcing the notices that were posted in the entrances to the plaza. We did not feel that sufficient importance was placed on the mask wearing. Consequently, we found other places to go for our evenings out. This was a great shame as we love the plaza. Somebody needs to step up and enforce the mask wearing.

Brilliant place. Live entertainment every evening throughout the summer season. Great pubs and fantastic restaurants. Five stars all round

Precioso sitio que sirve de ocio para el Campo de Golf Villamartín. Muchos bares, pubs y restaurantes, muchos de ellos con música en directo. Conciertos de calidad en el escenario principal que se encuentra en el centro de la plaza. Altamente recomendable.

All closed down as winter however can imagine in the summer would be very good. Lots of restaurants and there is stage in centre for live music.

Just a 5 minutes walk from “The Villa Villamartin” wonderful Andalusia style plaza, many quality bars/restaurants, full program of live music though out the summer.

Nice place to be, lots going on, handy place to live or visit! Clean and tidy, nice organic coffee shop, bobby, s, like it there to relax, go most mornings.

We went in the afternoon it was pleasant you could have a lovely walk round and drink and nice food every one made you feel welcome they all chat to you we said we were looking for a place to buy.all the people round us said it was a lovely area.we stay for a week in 1st Nov to 8th.we found our dream place to live.at sunworld.

Very nice and clean area with a wide and varied choice of bars and restaurants all within a short walk of each other so not lacking in choices for anything

Over ten years or so this square has numerous bars and eating places an ideal place to go every night you don't want for anything.

We had seats (0nly last minute, because of a cancellation) but booking is very difficult -. My advice is to book.well in advance, if you want to see something in particular! Aside from that. We had a really good night. -. The atmosphere was amazing, all finished off with fireworks. Would definitely reccomend

Check out The Tavern on the top level for a casual, friendly atmosphere. Great food and drinks at very competitive prices. Also check out their occasional Northern Soul all dayers, great music with great people.

A wide variety of food & drink available from the many bars & restaurants found on two levels. Always a fantastic, busy atmosphere.

Great place. Nice atmosphere. Great magician and balloon maker going around who I hold in high regards. If you catch him he will provide some great entertainment. Fairways do an amazing steak and burger. All round great place!

All great except for the shandon bells. The owner is possibly the most ignorant person you can meet. I gave a mad review on Facebook and he threatened me because it it. Don't go there

Over rated place with loud dated live music Butlins with sun, the pizza pasta restaurant we went to was nice and friendly staff

As always we had a great evening. This time at Copper Chimney Indian restaurant and was a great evening.

Vibrant location in the main season. Choice of bars and restaurants, some are quite pricey but great place where you can easily spend the whole evening. Live music and entertainment makes it a nice family orientated venue.

A lovely shopping centre with a wide variety of stores & places to eat. Fountains for kids to splash in - a friendly, happy place.

Full of English people so many restaurants to choose from. So busy which is a good thing good live music.

Lovely friendly atmosphere has some great bars & restaurants to choose from great choice from pub food Italian Spanish American diner & a fish & chip shop which do takeaway, Its a choice for everyone couples & families, my first time staying with my husband & 4 children in a Villa rented near by Villa Martin would definatly return in the future

Great night at Bog'eys, fillet steak was so lovely, with lovely table service, sit outside and watch the entertainment after your meal
