Washington Square is my local square having lived nearby for many years. Here you can meet and greet and catch up with the local chit chat in lots of different languages. It's a very sunny square with views towards the pink Laguna of Torrevieja. Their are four bar/restaurants here each with it's own unique appeal and flavour and if you are stuck there is a small supermarket which stocks most items including a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. There is also one of the best charity shops in Torrevieja situated here. The G bus route service stops here passing through about every 40 minutes.
